For once, there was nothing. Nothing to do, no one to call about anything, just..nothing. Most of the wedding was planned and she'd taken some time off work, the paper was out of the summer..She felt free. Liberated.
The sun shone through the bedroom window as she stirred, not ready to get up. It was rare she slept in and she was loving the feeling of not having the need to caffiene jolt herself out of bed. Was Blake still there? She rolled and soon discovered he wasn't. She was alone..at least for now in that space, in that moment. He was probably in the kitchen or something she guessed.
She turned back and took a book from her nightstand as she sat up and read the time. Is it really noon? Wow.. she thought, amazed.

Blake stood in the kitchen with his MP3 player blaring Unwritten Law into his ears as he danced around and cooked some breakfast/lunch for him and Ava.

She rolled down the sheets and slid out of the bed, stretching a little after doing so. Okay, she lied..coffee was still much needed to fully get up. Catching the scent of food cooking, she followed it and saw Blake cooking in the kitchen. She leaned against the door frame quietly and just watched as Blake danced to the loud music, not noticing she was there.

He continued dancing around as he got various ingredients for the brunch as he turned and caught Ava in the corner of his eye and jumped a little as he took his headphones off "Ava, hey" He said with a smile, kind of embarassed that she saw him dancing around like a moron.

"Well you're lucky because breakfast happens to be my favorite meal of the day." she replied and kissed him quickly before reaching into the cupboard and grabbing two plates. She then placed the plates down and headed to the coffee maker to see if there was coffee made...she was in luck. "My lifesaver.." she said with a smile and reached for a mug. "Want some too?" she asked.

Blake smiled when Ava called him her lifesaver "No thanks, I'm just gonna have orange juice" He said as he finished cooking the last pancake then he put it on the plate and placed it next to all the other food

Ava nodded and poured herself a cup then added some milk and sugar and sat down at the table, taking the plates with her. She put one in his spot and waited for him to sit down.

He grabbed a glass out of the cabinet and made himself a glass of orange juice before walking over to the table and sitting with Ava. "Lets dig in" he said with a smirk.

Ava smiled and sipped her coffee before taking a bite out of a piece of toast and glancing up at the calendar to see the date of their wedding circled with a little heart around it. She'd done it a while ago, when they'd first planned a date and looking at it and seeing the dates around it slowly get 'x'd out made her excited. "So when did you wake up?" she asked him curiously.

He was eating some of his eggs, then he swallowed them and took a drink of juice "Around 8" He told her "But then I spent about half an hour just watching you sleep" He added with a shrug as he took a bite out of a piece of bacon.
