She laughed at him scrunching her nose up some making fun of him from her seat on his lap. "You are so corny, Aiden Wright." She whispered as she brushed her lips against his only for her words before pulling back, there had been no kiss like the both of them had probably wanted. "If we're telling the truth though I guess it's not that bad kissing you." She said with a grin teasing him somemore as she shrugged pretending as though it been nothing. Of course she had loved the small intimate moments the two had shared but she was not the type to go ahead and express her feelings in the open. He knew how she fell obviously, the attraction was apparant from every gesture she had made, and yet still the two had just been best friends. She knew it'd get weird if they were to ever become more than that, she had a feeling he knew the same thing, so instead of ever bringing it up the two went along with their daily lives as though they were completely unaware of the others feelings. "What am I going to do with you?" She shook her head as that stupid grin would not disappear from her face.
Aiden was good when it came to knowing when to drop the subject, and when he had told her he would she gave him a grin letting her body drop against his as she got comfortable moving with the motion of his chest as he breathed beneath her. She didn't need to think of that Kingsley character anyway, not when for once she'd been happy with Aiden just the two of them. "So is Lance around?" She asked curiously as she rested there. "He helping take care of you?" She knew the man probably didn't need anyone taking care of him, but still she wanted to know what his brother had thought of the drastic improvement with Aiden. She didn't even know if the man still talked to his brother or not. "I haven't seen Lance in years," She told him as she looked towards the window at a car that had been passing by. In all honesty she hadn't seen Lance since before Aiden had ran off to join the military, her heart had never been with his brother though since the man just didn't seem to meet her standards.[/blockquote]

Aiden grinned as he kissed her back gently. He was taking it all in. His life had changed in a matter of hours. He finally had steph back on his arms and he wouldn't have it any other way. He laughed as she called him corny, "Yeah well I may be corny but you love me anyways." He said this with a proud grin on his face. The way he had said love was in a friendly way not to be taken in a serious tone. He didn't want to freak steph so he had learned to keep his true feelings inside of him. Though he was also scared that if he told steph how he really felt it would change their relationship he had grown accustomed to. He rested his head back against the couch as he took her appearances in. He gazed into her beautiful eyes and then down to her cute dimples that appeared when she was smiling. He loved seeing her smile especially when he was the cause of such an entrancing smile. He pouted out his bottom lip as she said it was only okay kissing him . He knew she was teasing but he felt like making her feel bad about it. "Only ok eh? Well fine then I guess no more kissing."
He lifted her up and sat her beside him. He crossed his arms over his chest and kept his lip jutted out. As the words of his brother were brought up he felt the mood die. Well on his end anyway. He had only talked to his brother a few times but not like they used to. Lately it was like they were only talking to each other because they felt obligated. He wished it could back to the old times when the confided in each other with just about everything. Aiden had been there when the whole drama in Lance's life and helped him through it. Though in the past year they had grown apart. Aiden wanted to mend things but it seemed Lance wasn't as interested. Aiden shrugged his shoulders, "I've spoken to him a few times but not too much. He isn't engaged to Rachel anymore but that is about all I know. Doesn't seem to want to talk to me anymore." he shrugged his shoulders as if was no big deal but he knew it was. Steph was all he had left. He wished he could tell her that. He had zoned out while talking anyone could have seen it in his eyes that something was bugging him. Aiden was the type of guy to where his heart on his sleeve but he was finding it hard to do that lately.

"I wouldn't be here if I didn't." She said with a grin after his stupid 'love him anyway' comment. Of course she loved him and he had been the most important person in her life. Sometimes it was confusing that her best friend had been a man because of all the questions she was asked from the other girls around the college. Of course so many girls had questions though, Aiden was absolutely gorgeous and they were probably all curious as to what relationship him and Stephanie had. There were those times when Steph would lie and say they were dating and happy together when she didn't feel the girl deserved to even speak to Aiden, and sadly that was most of the girls she talked to so she'd find herself lying quite often about a relationship. He knew of a few that she had lied to, but didn't know that she would be lying much more often these days than she used to. It just seemed like no girl was good enough for him, he was her Aiden and she just couldn't find that perfect girl for him. Deep inside she knew that she might just have been that girl but she wouldn't say that, not now or ever because she'd fear what could happen. Nothing could happen to their happy relationship they had now, she would make sure of that no matter how hard it was to hold back certain feelings. She was Stephanie Davis though, she wasn't supposed to date. Just play soccer, that is all she knew. "Like you could hold off on kissing me?" She said with a grin just looking at him as he pouted, silly boy thought it had an affect on her.
And now she was being moved, okay. She was confused and could see the sudden lack of interest in his face as he crossed his arms infront of him. "What's up?" She asked cautiously looking at him crossing her legs underneath her sitting indian style facing him on the couch. This seat was actually as comfortable as his lap. When he said the two didn't talk that didn't seem right to her. The brothers always seemed close so of course Steph was entirely confused right now. "Well why so distant?" She asked not having a clue why the two brothers would have grown so apart. She would think with the accident it would bring them closer together because Lance would want to help him, and yet Aiden seemed to say they didn't bother to hang out or anything. "Want me to talk to him?" Steph would not be able to talk to Lance, if she would see him she'd probably holler at him for not being there for her best friend. Lance seemed like such a cool kid back in the day too, stupid man for leaving Aiden's side when he needed him. Of course she didn't know the entire story though but still that didn't stop her from jumping to conclusions like she was so good at.
