"Cool, unless you wanna make it for another time." He said after listening to her. He remembered the trouble they used to go to when they tried to get a sitter for Adam. Something he really didn't want to think to hard about anymore.

"Well since it's your treat how about I let you decide." She was going to leave this one all up to him. She wasn't sure if she was keeping him from some prior plans or whatnot, since he had been driving past her when her car had decided not to start, but than again maybe he was just driving for the hell of it...granted not a smart thing to do with gas prices the way they are today.

She scratched the back of her head as she started to have to squint just to see the man standing there infront of her. She grabbed her sunglasses she'd been teasing him with earlier and slipped them on her face. "Yeah, I guess your right, these would probably not fit your face all that well." she laughed as she waited for his response. No pressure, she was fine either way. She just knew that whatever she did was going to be sitting down since her feet had been killing her after work.

" I could go for a cup of joe." He said with a smirk as he fished his keys out of his pocket. He hadn't really been the most social person in a long time and thought that this would be a good change. He had the same group of friends for the longest and maybe making a new one wouldn't hurt. "You know how to get there right." He said sarcastically chased with a smirk as he walked over to the drivers side and opened it, not getting in.

"I'm pretty sure I could find my way around this rock," she said refering to the town in general. She'd been living there since she was a mere baby, so if she didn't know where the coffee shop was there would definitely be a problem. "So my battery will be good enough to make it all the way down there?" She teased knowing that the battery was fine now, and even if it wasn't the coffee place wasn't too far away. She hadn't talked to someone in quite some time though and was definitely taking advantage of the opportunity. "How bout I just follow you and i'll call Jess while i'm on the road? No need for you standing around while I make a phone call that really doesn't mean anything to you..." She shrugged a bit and brushed a piece of hair that'd blown across into her face.

"I'll see you there, If the battery gives out- honk..i'm sure someone will stop eventually." He said as he got in the truck and started it up. He leaned over and grabbed some pain pills the doctor gave him and took two of them. His eyes were okay at the moment but it was starting to get a bit blurry. He put on his dark aviators and pulled back onto the road.
