The Heart Brings You Back ((Lance&Rachel))

Lance got angry as he knew she would probably take this game. She only had to make two more shots and then shoot for the eight ball. He finished up his second beer slowly feeling a buzz coming along quickly ordering another one. He then walked to the table and started to look around. He made two shots and got his beer. He took another sip knowing he probably shouldn't be. He looked around of where to go next and made two more. He was now tied with Rachel and knew he needed to make the next two. Unfortunately he made one and missed his last one. He shook his head in shame and grabbed his beer chugging it down. He only needed one more shot and the eight ball. Rachel had two shots and then she could move for the eight ball he figured if she concentrated hard enough she could get them all in.

Rach got a little concerned as he was drinking his beers pretty fast, she wondered if something was wrong. She took her turn and missed. She shrugged it off, she wasn't in that competitive of a mood anymore, and plus it was just a game. She ordered a cosmo, she hadn't started drinking yet and she kind of wanted to, a least a little bit.

Without Lance even saying anything there was a fourth beer in his hand. He set it down to the side and took his shot. He got his last one in and had no way of getting the eight ball in. He looked around and just took a random shot. He shrugged it off and started to drink his fourth beer. He was definitely getting a buzz as there was a hint of pink in his cheeks.

"Maybe you should slow down.. it would be hard for me to carry you to the car" Rach said with a smirk as the waiter brought her her cosmo, she smiled at him, and then took a few sips of it. She took her turn but missed again.

He looked at her a bit strange she had been on fire and was now all of the sudden missing. He saw the easy shot for the eight ball but didn't want the game handed to him. He missed it easily and shrugged his shoulders, "I'm...fine." He said shaking his head a bit as he felt the buzz go over him. He was half way done with his fourth beer.

((Lance would be considered a lightweight.. most guys i know, it takes them like 10 beers to get drunk.. or more ))

"Okay then" Rach said, she took her shot and got one in, they were now tied. She went over to him and smiled. She took another shot but missed this time. She drank some more of her cosmo as she waited for him to take his turn.

(yeah i know i used to drink a lot but lance hasn't had a good past with the alcohol so he doesn't drink much)

He finished up his fourth and was half way on his fifth before he shot and made in the eight ball. "Cha ching yes that's right Lance is the winner." He said smirking as held the pool stick above his head in victory. Now he finished his fifth beer and was definitely feeling his buzz.

"Congrats" Rach said with a smile. She finished her cosmo and ordered a sex on the beach. She went over to Lance and gave him a quick kiss. "You are funny when you're drunk" she said with an amused smirk. She had only ever seen him drunk like once before, she was normally the one wasted if anything.

"Why thank you pretty lady." He said grinning as he started working on his sixth beer. He barely drank so this was definitely going to be a bad result in the morning. "I am not i'm very coooool." He said jokingly as he let his hand slide as if to act cool. He leaned back against one of the walls and looked around at a few more people and noticed a few girls looking at him and smiling. He smirked as he crossed his arms across his chest and took some more sips. This was why he usually avoided drinking because he became cocky and ruined good things.

Rach got her sex on the beach and started drinking it slowly, she didn't want to get too drunk, especially if he was. Looks like they'd be taking a cab, he could always come back tomorrow to pick up his car. She finished off her drink after a few minutes and smiled at him. "Let's go home" she whispered into his ear, hoping he'd comply and not make a scene or anything.

Lance was absorbed in himself as he finished up his eighth beer quickly nodding over to a girl with a smirk on his face. She winked back at him and he set down his beer as Rachel wrapped her arms around him. He looked at the girl a little longer before looking down at her, "Man and I was just starting to have some fun." He said smirking as he made sure to finish his beer.

Rach noticed him checking out the other girl, which ticked her off. "Whatever then, you can stay, i'm going home" she said heading for the stairs. She crossed her arms as she stormed off. She didn't like Lance drunk anymore.

The girl that had been looking at him started to advance to him. She wrapped her arms around him as he looked down at her. He then felt guilty as Rachel stormed off. He took her arms off from around her and took off after Rachel. "Baby...baby come on." He called out to her as he couldn't catch up because it was too hard to push through the crowd.

Rach ran outside and waited for a cab, though she knew it may take a while since there were a bunch of other people waiting for cabs as well. She didn't hear Lance calling her inside. He was probably sleeping with the girl by now, seriously what was wrong with her? How could she ever trust him again?

Lance stumbled outside as he saw a guy walk over to Rachel. He was afraid at what she might do knowing she was angry with him. He couldn't believe he did what he just had. This was why he never drank. He hated that it brought out the wrong side of him. He started walking slowly towards her.
