"I swear gravity is extra hard today." He said as his hands moved up to her hips as he looked up at her with a tired and relaxed grin. " So i'll make you a deal, you order dinner tonight I will make breakfast." He said knowing that it was nowhere near using the same energy, but she was good at it. He leaned up on his elbows and kissed her. "What do you want to eat?" He asked as he rested back down on the pillow.

"Stupid gravity..." she played along, shaking her head. Ava pretended to think extra hard about his idea. "Hmmm...okay, deal." she said, trying to think about what to order already, though dinner was hours away. Mexican, maybe? Hmmm...When he asked what she wanted, she thought. "Surprise me." she finally said since he was good at making almost anything...at least compared to her, and she was indecisive. "Oh, just as bacon is involved." she added with a smirk.

"Bacon, got it." He said as he leaned up to kiss her again before letting his hands travel up from her hips to the sides of her stomach. He was truly happy about the idea that they were gonna have a baby, this time he knew he was gonna be around for everything. He sighed as he laid his head back down on the pillow, "How am I supposed to get up if your hovering over me, kinda makes me wanna stay.."He said with a smirk.

Ava thought about this, looking down at how she was sort of trapping him. She smirked. Yes, she'd kinda, sorta, planned this. "You can't? Seriously?" she teased, smirking some more. "Well, as hungry as we are I think we can wait.." she said, leaning in and kissing him passionately and seductively. The good thing about being pregnant was that you didn't have to worry about getting pregnant.

“I think waiting and working up an appetite will suit us both better,” He said taking control of the situation at hand and flipping them over. Ava now laying under him. He held himself up on his knees and elbows as he leaned in and kissed her passionately but trying to be as careful as possible when it came to her stomach region, that area was now something to keep him nervous and to make sure nothing happened to it.

Ava smirked as she leaned against the pillows, her hands roaming his half-naked body as her lips met his and they kissed. She still couldn't believe this was her life now; waking up to him every morning and sleeping next to him every night. It was surreal, yet it made her the happiest she'd been in a long time. She finally had found a family in him, something she'd never really had before.
As they kissed, though, her body had other plans and she found herself, rolling over and covering her mouth. "Hold that thought." she said quickly, making her way to the washroom just in time to empty her stomach contents from the night prior. Standing up, she sighed. She hoped this part got easier. She walked over to the sink and washed her face.

The second he heard her in the bathroom he got himself out of bed. He stretched as he walked across the bedroom to the bathroom door. He leaned against the door frame as he scratched his stomach. “You okay babe?” He asked as he folded his arms across his chest and let out a small yawn. He felt terrible that she had to go through this part of being pregnant. He hated being sick, it was one of the only times he actually prayed..although it never worked. “Can I get you water or gatorade, anything?” He added.

Ava looked over to see Jack standing there and couldn't help but to smile. "No, it's okay..." she said, then thought about it. "Maybe gatorade." she agreed, not a huge fan of water. "And some of that bacon, mister Riley." She smirked, her appetite still there as always (not just because of her pregnancy). She looked away and took her toothbrush from its holder before grabbing the toothpaste from the medicine cabinet and squeezing a drop on. She hated having bad breath. She made a note to buy mints or something for future.

It was not a safe idea to cook bacon in only boxers. He was used to the oil getting to hot and having it splash on his forearm but bare chest, uh uh..not cool. Letting the bacon sizzle and toast in the toaster, he went back into the bedroom to pull a shirt on from his drawer. "What do you want to drink?" he asked her as he sat on the end of the bed and put a pair of socks on.

Looking into the bedroom again from the doorway, she spotted her husband on the bed and grinned. She still loved seeing him there whenever she turned around. He wasn't going anywhere this time. Something in her heart told her that this time it was forever. "Gatorade...no. Uh....orange juice." she said, changing her mind. "And...no more bacon. Think I'm just gunna have cereal and run." She smirked before shutting the bathroom door and going over to the mirror. She set her hair up in a high ponytail, thinking she'd just wash it later, then headed out into the bedroom again and over to the closet to pick some clothes for the day.
The closet. It was something that had been bugging her ever since he'd moved in with her. It was definitely too small for two, no matter how few items of clothing he'd brought with him. Oh well. It would have to do for a while, right? There was no way they could afford a bigger place right now..not with all the medical bills that would be coming not to mention baby stuff.

"No more bacon..more for me then" he said as he walked out of the bedroom and went down to the kitchen. He removed the toast from the toaster and flipped the strips of bacon with a fork before getting a plate ready to put the food on. He went over to the fridge and pulled a few eggs out of the fridge along with the milk. He cracked the eggs into the frying pan and ditched the shells as he moved around the kitchen pulling out napkins, her juice, silverware and a bowl. The eggs wouldn't take much longer, he thought as he pulled her cereal down from the cabinet and leaned against the counter. He only a few more hours until he had to head to the diner, he kept fighting the urge to call and check in but ultimately opted to pour juice into two glasses and put the eggs onto the plate with the rest of the breakfast stuff and placed it on the small table. He turned the stove off and went to wash his hands.

From the bedroom as she got dressed, she could smell the food and instantly knew she was hungry; not that she'd questioned it before, either. She quickly finished up and walked out into the kitchen, wrapping her arms around him from behind as he washed his hands. "Have I ever told you that I love how you cook?" she asked and more so, stated. It was true too, knowing that without someone cooking for her she'd probably either live on takeout or starve.
Her eyes darted to the coffee maker and she let a small pout escape from her lips. She'd been living off of decaf for a few days now, but the amount she'd bought hadn't been enough..at least not to satisfy her addiction, and they were currently out. She tried to not let him see this upset though and instead, went for the juice that he'd poured. That would do.

"Your just saying that cause if I wasn't cooking you would starve." He told as her with a light laugh as he dried his hands off on a sheet of paper towel. The food looked good, and he did have to admit he was much hungrier now then when he started out to begin with. He sat down at the table and noticed from his peripheral vision her reaction to the empty coffee pot. He knew he was gonna have to bring some home from the diner tonight. He hated that she still drank the stuff, thankful she switched to decaf, but still worried their child was gonna develop her eating habits. He smiled at the fact that they were gonna have a kid together before sliding some toast and bacon onto his plate.

"Yes." Ava replied honestly, stealing a piece of bacon and taking a bite. "And because I love you and a compliment was in order for you being you." She smiled, watching him some more and inhaling the smell that had enveloped the room. She knew she was lucky to have him in her life, not just for the food.
She caught him smiling as he placed food on his plate and smiled herself...just at the simple fact that she'd only seen him smile that way a few times ever ....when they'd gotten back together, when he'd proposed, when they'd gotten married and then, now. Jack normally kept his emotions and thoughts pretty guarded and it had been one of the things that she'd had to deal with in their relationship history...one of the reasons it had never worked, but now here they were and obviously something had changed.
Leaving him a moment, she put her juice down and started pouring cereal in a bowl. It was some of Jack's healthy cereal, not her normal sugary choice, but in being hungry, she didn't even care. She could always add the sugar later, right? "So where are you today?" she asked since his schedule always confused her. "Diner or Orchid?"
