Ava had her eyes covered with one hand and was holding onto Jack with the other as the sped to her house on the back of his motorcycle. Ugh..yeah, it wasn't any less scarey than she'd expected. "There yet?" she asked when they stopped moving. She hoped that it was a yes.

[jack edward riley]

"You can uncover your eyes now" He told her as hey turned the ignition off and put the kick stand down, even though he still had both feet still firmy planted on the ground till she got off so she didn't fall." Was it really that bad?" He asked with a smirk

"Yes.." She replied simply and honestly, uncovering her eyes and getting off. "Okay, so maybe it was that bad..but it was pretty bad. Maybe its one of those things that takes practice.."

[jack edward riley]

"In time you'll get used to it, especially when I make you drive it" He said with a smirk as he got up and off the bike. He spinned the keys around his finger and then put them into his back pocket.

"Drive it? Uh, that will be like..6, maybe 7 years right?" Ava replied. That seemed like enough time to get used to riding it. She saw him put the keys away and lead him up the door which she opened and went inside. "I'd say here we are, but then you know that.." she joked and lead them through the foyer into the kitchen.

He smiled lightly as they walked through the foyer. " We'll have you driving in a week" He said with a small laugh. It was a little awkward to be standing in her kitchen at first but he nervously laughed it off.

"So what are we toasting with?" Ava asked, deciding to move away from the motorcycle topic and never bring up driving it again..maybe she could avoid it at all costs..more like not.

[jack edward riley]

" Your place, your choice" He said leaning back against one of the kitchen counters. Truth was that he hadn't smoken or drank any alcohol in a long time and he didn't matter what they picked.

"Follow me then." She said with a grin, leading him out a door from the kitchen that lead downstairs to the Harper family's wine cellar. Once down there she turned to him. She rarely went down there and doubted even Blake had seen it. "Here we are, the wine cellar of champions..or so my dad likes to call it. We have everything from like ten dollar stuff to wine like 100 years old. My dad likes to collect."

"i dont know much about wine" He said putting his hands deep into his pocket as he looked around the cellar." What do you have from the 60's" He asked always hearing from other people that things were good from the early 60s.

"Um, let me check." She said. Luckily they were organized on the shelves by decade so it didn't take much time to find the sixties. "Reds, whites and...dust." she said. "Is dust okay on wine?" She laughed. Yeah, she wasn't a big drinker either.

[jack edward riley]

He laughed slightly," It's probably normal when they've been sitting down here for awhile. Red sounds good if your into it, maybe Merlot?" He asked not knowing if they had a bottle.

"Merlot." Ava said, knowing that that was a good wine..well, good was a relative term since she only knew like two types..merlot and chardonnay. "That is.." She serached the shelf. "Um, how about this one?" There were like ten so she pointed to a random one.

[jack edward riley]

"Your asking the wrong person, but that one looks good I guess" He said thinking that he'd probably agree to any of them since he couldn't tell the difference by sight.

"The..Icehouse Terrance, 1964 Merlot, it is." she said, reading the name of the company and its information off the dusty bottle. She grabbed it and turned to Jack. "I guess we should head back up..unless you wanted to look some more.."
