"No we could head up I guess" He said with a small smile in her direction when he was still looking at all the bottles her parents had, thinking about what it was like to collect them all, and what the stories were behind them.

Ava nodded and holding the bottle in one hand started out and up the stairs with him behind. They arrived back in the kitchen. She set the bottle down on the island and started digging through a drawer, coming out a few seconds later with a corkscrew. "Any good with corks?" she asked with a small smile and a laugh.

"Well lets see" He said takign the corkscrew. He put the screw into the cork, and began twisting until it was deeper into the cork. He them held the bottle and pulled both the corkscrew and the cork out," I guess so" He said handing her the bottle.

"Wow you even know how to work a corkscrew..my hero." She joked, getting two glasses from the cupboard and putting the down on the island before taking the bottle. She started and poured both to about half-full, or half-empty. "So what do we toast to?" she asked with a grin, handing him a glass.

" Hmm.." He started holding the glass and looking down into its contents," How about being in debt until your 30...or to Páirt dea comnu its what they toast to in Scotland, its like saying a friendship going into something professionally, that or its a bunch of drunken slurs..I'm not sure" He said with a small laugh

Ava frowned. "Is negatively like in your blood or something?" she replied, more joking in regards to the first one. She laughed too. "How about..." she tried to think of something that didn't sound too cliche..but then most toasts did right? "..that Scottish thing and.." Yes, she'd tried pronouncing it in her head, but had decided on 'the Scottish thing'. "..and success?"

"That sounds all right with me." He said with a smile as they toasted, he took a sip of his wine. Since he hadn't drank in a while the wine tasted different than what he had remembered, a good different.

Ava grinned and drank a bit of her wine. It was good, though if anything she was more of a champagne and cheap beers kinda girl; simple but with a touch of class too.

Jack was much more of a beer kind of guy but he enjoyed the taste of the wine, especially the smell. "So how long did it take your parents to get a collection like that?" He asked making small talk.

"Uh..I'm not too sure, actually." she replied thinking. "I'm pretty sure they started it when they met, like just after and that was..5 years before I was born?"

[jack edward riley]

"Cool" He said sort of impressed. He took another sip of the wine," So..uh how's school?" He asked trying to make light conversation.

"School is pretty good..busy with mid-terms coming up but good all in all. When do you start again?"

[jack edward riley]

"A few weeks but now I'm not so sure, I mean if we are opening this pub it can't just be a part time things so I'm going to have to work things out with my school schedule." He told her

"Yeah, that true." Ava said with a nod. "I mean you could always do like correspondance though if and when things take off with the pub."

[jack edward riley]

"Or I can take morning classes and then night ones, just until the pub does take off and then I can start regular." He told her.
