Ava listened and nodded. What he was saying made sense to her..maybe because she wanted to believe it so badly. "Um...that's hard." she said honestly, unable to think right away of one. "I guess my one moment would be.." She paused a little, buying herself time. She laughed a little. "I guess I dont really have anything. I mean if I had've left Pleasant I could've said that, but then I stayed..maybe never knowing my parents better would be a regret, but I don't know if there would be a moment I'd change."

"Well you can definitely take that as a sign you've got one hell of a life." He told her with a small smile. He wanted to take back his previous statement but decided against it as he turned and looked at the titles on the shelf."Do you ever fell like this is one of those towns they make TV shows about to fill prime time spots..Sometimes it just feels like one thing after another." He told her running a hand through his hair.

Ava nodded. "All the time." she admitted with a small laugh, glancing at the floor and back at him again. "But in all honestly my life would never make good tv..especially prime time..I'm much too boring. I think my life would be more like the space filler in between two prime time shows."

"Compared to mine you've got a much better slot. My life is like the commercials they show before movie trailers at the movies, before anyone normally gets there." He said with a laugh. Point Pleasant was a weird down, he was sure that one day there would be a book on the shelf about it.

"Well I'd watch it..except what's the fun when you already know a lot of the plot?" Ava smirked, then let the smirk fade into a small grin. This was fun..this talking they were doing. It had been a while since they'd really talked.

He laughed with a small grin, "I guess i'll have to find some new material than huh?" He said with a smirk.

"Yep. I must say Mr. Riley you are becoming far too predictable for my liking.." she teased, then laughed a little. Minus the dad thing which came out of someone else's life and landed right in yours..

He laughed lightly, "Then I must start jotting down some ideas from those damn wild boys so i can impress more." He said sarcastically.

Ava laughed, and nodded. "While you're at it can you take some wild girl notes as well? I could use them." she teased.

" I make no promises." He said with a grin. It was weird and for a moment he looked back at this whole situtation. It had been a while since they had a real conversation like this..and the conversation itself was getting a bit strange, as if they were two older people trying to regain some youth they skipped over. Jack rubbed his face and smiled.

"Okay deal." she replied, grinning back as she looked from him to the shelf nearby them. Some SciFi books, mostly. Nothing that caught her attention. She looked back to him. "We should do this more.." she admitted. "Just..talk, banter, anything. I miss this."

"I know it feels... normal almost." He told her. He always thought that Ava and he would never needa suggstion for a conversation since they had a lot in common and talking was both their strong points.

"Shocking." Ava said with a laugh, at the word 'normal'. "Though you did add the word 'almost' to the mix..which sounds about right."

"Nothing wrong with the word almost, almost is a good word it's like saying good and on the way of being better." He said with a smirk.

Ava laughed. "That sounds about right.." she said with a nod.
