Ava laughed too. She didn't really know Scott, even after dating Jack for a while and being at the diner almost daily for a coffee fix...a fix that had strangely faded over the years. Maybe that had been Jack's doing at some point or another..
"Yeah, but I'm sure he means well.." she said with a small shrug. "I mean its sort of a silent language that adults do. It's like that with my parents too. They care, I know they do..they just have a weird way of shpwing it."

"I've decided, when I get older I'm not going to be so indecisive, I'm going to be straight forward. If i disapprove I'm going to tell them but I want to be creative with it like....if they bring home a bad report card or something I want to shoot it on their door with a burning arrow and in red pen have it say that I disapprove." He said with a sarcastic grin.

Ava laughed. "That sounds very..cartoon of you." she replied, grinning back as she put her hands into the pockets of her jeans. "But I think the chances of you burning your house down doing that are quite high so I wouldnt suggest it."
