"Nah, just my next physcial I guess they'll take a look but it's over with now...What'd you do today besides finding an outfit?" He asked her trying to get off the topic of any medical thing now. He was done with hospitals and rehab facilities for good.

Sensing his segway, she went with it. "Uh, not a lot...went by the beach for a while and saw my friend Lucas there so we hung out for a bit, then I just headed back and went shopping before being lazy and doing nothing the rest of the day. She laughed. "I'm so exciting, huh?" she added sarcastically.

He smiled and nodded before finishing his water bottle."So have you thought anymore about finishing as a journalist, or the paper?" He asked remembering their last conversation in which she said she was getting stressed over it.He gave up writing long ago for that reason, there was to much going on and he couldn't get inspiration from anything.

"Still on a time out." she said with a shrug, unsurely, playing a little with the beef as she thought. "But I can't lie and say I don't miss it. People keep sending me emails of stories to proof and ideas for stories and its hard not to get caught up in the excitement of that." She ate a piece of beef then drank some of her water.

It made her smile to know he believed in her that much. It was refreshing and was maybe one of the things she loved about him. Wait, love? No...maybe? She didn't know. All she knew was there had always been this part of her that belonged to him, a side of her she'd never been able to share with Blake or anyone else. She nodded. "Maybe I will." she said softly before helping herself to a dumpling too.

She went back to the chow mein and carefully chopsticked some into her mouth. She was liking this, them..it was so simple. Like there was nothing else out there. Only there was and she knew the moment she left that roof the real world would be facing her.

Him..Ava knew who he meant. It was Blake. She shook her head, putting down her food and taking another drink, finishing it off. She hadn't. Not since she'd moved out. She knew she would have to at some point though. "Not for a while." she said, knowing this conversation had been coming for a while.

He was a bit relieved she hadn't but he still felt unsure about all of this. He wasn't Blake and it always seemed he beat Jack at most things. He hoped this wasn't going to be one of them. " You shouldn't leave it like that, especially if you've got things there you need." He said eating some more.

Ava couldn't read Jack now. It seemed like he was pushing her to Blake..but why would he want that? Was he doubting this would last? She nodded. "Yeah I do." she said meaning she still had stuff there. "I guess I'm just hoping it won't be weird...I know, it will, but I can hope, right?"
