He was right and she loved how he was so understanding about the whole thing. She also loved how he knew just when to switch topics to keep her from going crazy. "Tomorrow..Hmm, not sure. Kinda taking a day to day approach these days. You?"

" I gotta day at the diner and then as soon as I close I have to run over to the bar..Scott doesn't get back until tuesday, but uh maybe you could stop by, keep me from burning down the place?" He said with a smirk. It was tough nowadays with Scott always at the hospital or to tired to work.

She nodded and was about to stand when her thoughts landed on the word "drink." She cared about him a lot and didn't think it was wise to be drinking..with his history and all. She frowned a little. "Are you sure? I mean.." she looked at him, conflicted and concerned.

Jack shoved the rest of the stuff in the cooler and picked it up, he would leave the furniture till tomorrow but for now he walked over to the stairs and hit the light switch. It wasn't that dark since most of the light from the moon reflected onto the roof and the streetlights below were pretty bright. "Well we only have the best pie, made every day." He said with a smirk.
