He smiled,"I'm pretty sure I could find a few of the staples in the junk drawer." He said to her as he rolled his neck a bit. He was trying to think what he would need to go out and get later before their dinner date, "Don't worry just show up and make sure your ready to be amazed." He said sarcastically.

Ava laughed. "I shall try." she teased, thinking that now she really should get going. Okay, so she really didn't have anything planned, but maybe she'd stopped by the mall and pick out an outfit..though it would be hard since the whole thing was a surprise. "So what time?"

He thought for a moment about how long it would take him to get ready before he replied to her, "Probably 8- 8:30" He said with a nod and small smile."Incase you get lost its that apartment above the diner..you know the one right?" He said sarcastically with a smirk.

"I think so..might have to map quest that one." She joked, smirking a little herself before laughing. "And I'll make it 8:15." she replied, picking a time in the exact middle since he'd given her a time range. She laughed again. "I'll see you tonight." she said before kissing him with a light peck on the lips and turning to the door again to leave.

He smiled she she pulled away from the kiss and headed to the door,"I'll seeya then." He said as she she went. He moved back over to the bar and started pouring out their glasses and throwing them into the bin underneath where there were other glasses that were dirty. He tried but he found he couldn't quite wipe off his smile so he grabbed a rag and wiped down the bar instead.

Ava headed along the pier and home to grab her car and head off to the mall
