Tonight was the night, you had been hearing about it for weeks and tonight it was finally going to happen, the barn was going to be set ablaze in a party that was bound to go down in history books. Now I know what you're thinking, setting that old barn on fire? How could you, it's a piece of history! I guess you're not too keen on slang terms though, it may mean that the place is going to be on fire, but that does not mean literally. The people inside and all around are going to be those too hot to handle, the barn is just the structure that's going to crowd them into one place making things more intimate. Lucas North, only the best damn DJ on the southern coast, was set up in the middle stable with the portable DJ equiptment he would need for the night. He hated not having all of his cool gadgets, but at least he did make sure to bring his very own turn-table that he loved dearly. This one piece of equiptment took first place in his heart no matter what, not even a woman could move past the metal and needle before him. He'd been busy already pumping a strong beat from the four large microphones around him, anyone within a certain distance could feel the pounding in their chest as they inched closer and closer to the barn.
People were screaming from inside the barn, though their sounds were muffled since the music had been so loud, but nobody was complaining as they were far too into their own things around. Hot girls were grinding up on males, those males taking advantage of this to get a few good feels of the womens body as she moved up and down him, but the girls never seemed to miss a beat as the males did that to them. It was though they were asking, or their bodies were begging at least, to be touched in a way only drunken studs could do, whatever that way had been. Using the word drunken we must admit that there is more alcohol here than should be, and considering it's all around we do not have people watching over it. What does that mean? Underage drinking of course, what else? There are already little high school kids around drunk off their ass about ready to either start puking or pass out all together, Lucas betting that passing out was looking to be the more reliable outcome.
The barn was packed to it's limit, though what was awesome about this party was that there were two main entrances on either side of the barn, so people would walk in one door, dance and party until they could not stand the pounding of the music anymore, and then would leave the other side to go outside where at least the music was free to move through the air instead of being trapped. It was neverending as people pouring in and then out of the building, but that is how usual parties went around here. There were the jocks that insisted on getting laid tonight, so of course there were those girls labeled easy from the way they dressed as well as the very way their bodies moved against the music. Then there were those kids, that small group that never belong at parties, that just huddled in a mass outside commenting on how the structure can't take too much more of tonight. They were joking with one another about how long it'd take for the barn to fall, and how all the people inside at that very moment would be nothing more than casualties, sometimes those people just put too much of a damper on the parties around Point Pleasant. The last group of people there were those who were just curious, they wanted to get out of the house tonight and had heard about the party, so of course curiosity had led them here tonight. Their outfits were a little more laid back and they stayed away from the two many drinks that night, or at least until they could find themselves settling into the scene.
So come on down and don't be shy. Tonight could be a night you will always remember, and since this party is so huge are you seriously going to want to be one of the ONLY people who don't go? Even if this is not your scene check it out, we're promising once you're here you won't want to leave, and if you do we'll personally drive you ourselves.

The area around the party was crowded and it took Emma a few times of circling before she managed to find a spot to park her car, but she wasn't in a hurry. She hadn't really been planning on going until Blair had suggested a night out of the house and Lance had said he'd go with her. Well, they were meeting there since Lance was working semi-late at the studio, but still. She'd managed to find a last minute sitter for Keagan, who had recently become quite a handful in starting to walk. Nonetheless, Emma was proud of her son as any mother would be. Walking into the party, Emma looked simply beautiful and she felt glad she'd taken the time to bother. Not that that was anything new lately. She found herself wanting to look good for her new boyfriend and this being their first time out in a party setting she wanted to look especially good. Looking around for something to do, she decided to go get a drink. She wasn't drinking tonight since the party was kind of far and she was driving, so upon reaching the drinks, she grabbed a soda instead, then climbed a ladder leading to the hay loft and took a seat on a hay bale. From there she could see everyone and almost everything that was happening below and knew that when Lance came she'd be able to see him. She thought momentarily about going back down though, but finally decided against it. She had never been into the whole party scene, even when she'd been with Landon, though she'd done her best to try and fit in. The things you did for love right? Compromise. With Lance, she hadn't had to do any of that yet and she wondered if she'd ever have to. With him, she felt like it was okay to be herself.

"Thanks Dom, you're going to be around later when I need a lift home right?" "Sure thing, but I won't be disappointed if you find a better lift." "Me? Right, you're funny. Just answer your phone," Kenn laughed as she stepped out of the taxi, Dom being the driver that she'd called to get her to the party. Tonight was all about her, her son had been at her aunts house for the night and Kenn was ready to just let loose and start living again. For almost three years she had dropped her old personality and adjusted to her life as a single mother, but tonight she was leaving that all behind her and hoped to get back into the swing of her high school years. Sure her son would be on the back of her mind the entire night, but her aunt said that she needed this so Kenn agreed taking her advice. Her outfit tonight, well it was sure to turn some heads considering the plaid and polka dots, but that is exactly what she had wanted / needed to do tonight. Kenn had a nice body and wanted to show her curves off, and tonight with this outfit seemed the perfect place to do so.
"Holy shit, Kenn that you?" She heard someone calling from behind her so the beautiful blonde turned quick to see the male who had been calling her name. "Alex, hi!" Kenn said excitedly running to him and giving him a hug, Alex being another male that had been on the basketball team that she had been close to. They had tried to date but it didn't work out. "Looking good tonight, get you a drink?" He asked as they retreated from one another, his eyes darting up and down her body. Kenn grinned as her plan had been working. "That'd be great," She told him with a nod, and watched as he left to get her a drink. She trusted him and knew nothing would be slipped into her drink, and she stayed right there waiting for him to return.
Well that is before she looked around and noticed a small group of girls that she had been close to during high school, so instead of standing alone she decided it'd be alright to go over and say hello. She walked over stepping up beside one of her old good friends, and within minutes the girls had accepted her into the group and were talking boys. Of course, what would they be talking about other than that? Kenn listened mostly, she had not had much experience with the male gender since Lance, so what could she honestly add to the conversation?
"Here you go, Kenn." Kenn took the drink from his hand mouthing a quick 'thank you' before taking a sip, the sting rushing down her throat since she hadn't had a lick of alcohol in so long. Tonight was about stepping outside of herself though, so this is how she planned on doing it. She joined in on the conversation when she could, mostly her and Alex kept their own private conversation going catching up.

Lance pulled up his nerves rattled from already being later than he had planned. He knew how Emma was and that she was only going because he had said he would accompany her. He felt terrible for being held up in the studio and finally having to tell his agent he had to go. He was almost finished with his album which he was excited about and he was even supposed to do a few promoting gigs around the town of Pleasant to get his home support first. He couldn't have been more excited that his musical career was finally about to take off. No one knew of his musical abilities either he had been the jock of the high school. He had fit in with the popular crowd and everyone knew him as the star athlete. Lance had owned the roll for four years and was finally shedding it and making himself something different after being out of high school for a year. He stepped in on the scene and was already bombarded with hello's and high fives. Lance smirked as he immediately felt like he was back in high school. He felt his ego rise somewhat but knew to keep a level head. He let his eyes scan the room as he searched for Emma. He frowned as he didn't see her and quickly reached to his pocket for his cell phone before he stopped having looked up at the rafters. He grinned as he saw Emma looking as flawless as ever. Lance made his way to grab a drink and decided a bottle of water would do for now. He was sure he would drink alcohol even though he was driving because the man had mastered it as if it was an art. Back in high school he would get drunk off his ass and still manage to drive as if he never touched alcohol before. He turned to walk over to the ladder though as he passed a group of girls he had known in high school he heard a laugh that made his heart stop. He looked out of the corner of his eye to see Kennedy and boy did she look stunning. Lance felt his palms itch as his heart began racing at a rapid rate. He hadn't yet told Kennedy of him and Emma and knew there was nothing good that could come from this. Lance quickly made his way up the ladder and to Emma putting on a smile for her, "Hey beautiful," he planted a light kiss on her lips, "sorry i'm late got held up at the studio."He quickly gave her an apology before taking a seat next to her. Lance kept his eyes from that group of girls not wanting Kennedy to see him though sitting up high where everyone could see them was probably not the best idea.

Emma wondered what she was doing here. She felt so out of place amongst the jocks and cheerleaders and stoners and drunks and former jocks, cheerleader, stoners and drunks that she didn't know what to do. Where was Blair? Probably in someone's backseat by now. How had she let her convince her that her "social status was lagging" or even, how did she convince Emma that she actually cared about that sort of stuff? It was crazy how different she and Blair were. Thinking about this, she heard footsteps on the hay and turned to see the one person she knew would make it all better.
She kissed him back, a small smile forming on her lips hearing him call her beautiful. It was so generic in relationships for guys to ay that, but she loved hearing it. "No, it's okay. I was late too." she replied to him, knowing he probably felt bad. "How are things going? Getting excited?" she asked, putting her hand on his knee as he sat down beside her. She was proud of him for doing the music thing and hoped people would like it. It took a lot of guts to put yourself out there like that.
She hadn't noticed Kennedy, and really had no idea about the pull she had over Lance. All she knew was that they had a child together and were friends. But then, Lance had never given her a reason to suspect otherwise. It was like they talked about Kennedy or Ryan a lot.

Kenn was surprised how well her old friends were treating her since she walked over and said hello, most commenting on the outrageous outfit through admiration, and Kenn just laughed along with all their small jokes about this or that. Kenn wouldn't have even known Lance was there since she hadn't seen him walk past her and the small group, but of course the girls having known about his and Kenn's past had to speak up.
"Hey isn't that Lance over there? You two still seeing each other?" one girl asked as Kenn's head turned in just enough time to watch him climb the ladded up to the haystack. "Yeah, I mean no. I mean yeah that's him but no we're not dating." Kenn told them as she smiled returning her attention to the group in just enough time to miss the kiss exchanged by him and Emma. "Too bad, he was gorgeous, still is from where i'm standing." another girl chimed in, Kenn just raising her head in acknowledgement though did not have anything to add. "Ladies, ladies, I think you're mistaken, i'm the gorgeous one." Alex joined in laughing as he tried to push a subject change from them discussing Lance, Kenn thankful that he had stopped that. "I'm going to go take a look around guys, i'll meet up with you later." If she could see him from where she had been standing that had meant that he could see her too, and the last thing she wanted was to come face to face with him tonight. Not that they were on bad-terms, this was just a night to clear her mind and let her act like a teenager again, and he'd probably just want to bring up the present some more.
She waved goodbye to the group as she took a rather large gulp of the beer that had been in the cup, her intentions tonight were to drink of course, and seeing him here made her want the drink all that much more to help herself loosen up. Kenn smiled at another group she had recognized but did not stop to talk to them, instead she went around the side of the barn to where a good number of people were dancing, and Kenn found a nice spot to lean against a tree and sip her beer unable to see Lance anywhere, paradise.

Lucas North had his own personal stall in the barn, sure it had not been the best place to rock a party out, but the generators brought in to generate the electricity enough for his equiptment seemed to be putting out enough juice. You could literally see sweat dripping from most of the people dancing so close in the barn, and even Lucas had become sweaty as he spun a record. "We're going to be slowing it down a bit, grab a honey and let's get drenched." He laughed into the microphone before he slapped another record onto the table to start spinning it up some. This was about the one time that Lucas could feel normal, so many people watched his every move but most spoke positive remarks about him, whereas on the street people look at him with prying eyes trying to see just what makes him tick. He hates that and usually blows a fuse, tonight though he was as happy and cheerful as could be. Must be the adrenaline pumping through his veins by such a loud noise coming from the speakers near him.
"Get that bitch in here," He said as he watched a girl hanging on the side of the stall door trying to tell him something. When she walked up beside him she shouted something into his ear so he could hear her, and he just looked at her with a grin before his eyes shot down her entire body and he just nodded some. "Let's just start with a drink, make sure it's cold." He told her as she followed his command and left to find him that perfect cold drink. He had been drinking most of the night before this but it was not effecting his music, if anything it was making him do sicker shit than on his normal nights. "Let's turn this bitch up, come on fuckers!" He yelled into the microphone as the entire crowd before him started to scream and bounce around with the music as he spun the slow song to speed up leading right into a fast-paced record he'd had on the turntable right beside the slow. You heard a quick scratch as the loud vibe pulsated through your body, oh yeah Lucas was enjoying himself.

Lance smirked as he teased Emma, "Well good i'm not the only slacker in this relationship." He was glad that Emma wasn't like Rachel in that sense that Rachel probably would have been upset had Lance been late. Though Emma brushed it off instead of making it a big deal. He appreciated this more than she knew. For Lance his relationship with Emma wasn't hard. She was easy to talk to, easy to get along with, and beautiful none the less. She was his perfect girl as far as it went with him. He was brought back to reality when the topic of his album came up as it did often with the few people who knew.
"It's going good," he nodded his head in reassurance, "Excited? Yes. Nervous? Very. Though i'm glad I have you at my side it's really helped me lately. I wanted to thank you for that." He smiled at her as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and placed a tender kiss against her lips letting them linger a bit longer than the first brief kiss. Kennedy had gone from his thoughts for the time being he knew whenever he saw her again the worries would arise again. He hoped they didn't run into each other though had a feeling it was going to be inevitable.
Lance hadn't told Kennedy about Emma due to their night a few weeks ago at the quarry. He wasn't sure how to bring it up either. Also he hadn't seen Ryan in so long due to his increase in time in the studio and also hadn't told Kennedy why he hadn't been around so much. He knew he would have to talk to her about it at some point though tonight was definitely not that night. He wanted to let loose and have some fun with Emma at his side. "So, how about I take you down there and show you off?" He grinned as he wanted to show everyone that she was with him and he wanted her to have a good time, "That is if you think you can dance as good as muah." He winked at her as he teased her yet again.

Stephanie wanted to look perfect for Aiden tonight because it was sort of their 'coming out' as a couple, well in a large social setting considering the two had kept a lot closer than usual while around campus and through the city. Stephanie had not been to a party with Aiden since before he'd went off to war, so tonight was bound to be exciting. She made sure of it too, first for the past week and a half she'd been doing all of her brothers cleaning and errands around his apartment just so she could use his truck for the night, she felt bad that Aiden was always the driver and she wanted to be able to for once give him a lift somewhere. Plus Stephanie wasn't too big on drinking, she might have a drink or two, but usually she kept with bottled water or something because she just hated the taste of the nasty cheep alcohol served at these sort of parties. Plus since her brother was trusting her with his 'baby' she would definitely not do anything that could result in even a minor scratch, she could only imagine what her brother would do if he'd found anything wrong with the truck when she'd brought it home to him the next morning.
She told Aiden she would meet him at his place though the entire time had never told him that she would be the one driving, so when she pulled up to the curb infront of his apartment she jumped out and ran to the door. She knocked twice and turned the knob, and luckily it had been unlocked as she slipped through the door. "Aiden, hurry your ass up!" She called having no idea where he had been in the house, but she kept near the door so she could walk out before him to surprise him. She saw his keys sitting on the table though and grabbed them, laughing as she saw him come into sight. "Wow, looking good." She grinned walking to him to peck him on the cheek, but soon she was grabbing his hand pulling him towards the door. "I'm driving," She said dangling his keys infront of him. When they stepped outside though she grinned as the truck was right infront of them, and she turned quick to look at him. "Oh wait, I don't need these tonight do I?" She asked tossing them to him as she pulled the trucks keys from her pocket. "I have my own, let's go!" Steph was very excited as she ran to the truck and jumped in the drivers seat, leaning over to open the door for him. "Better buckle-up, it's been a long time since i've been behind the wheel." She teased just to see if she could get him going, though in reality she had been behind the wheel a lot lately running her brothers errands. "You have no idea what I had to go through to get this beast tonight, so you better enjoy the ride." She laughed, wow she needed to calm down but she was just too excited.
She turned the music up some in the car but had no idea what was playing, her brothers pre-sets were messed up but there wasn't a chance in hell she was going to fidget with anything, so instead she bounced around in her seat as she drove off to the field. Surprisingly she'd only ran one stop sign, and that one was on a secondary road that didn't mattered and she'd honestly not known why it had been there. Both managed to make it there in one piece though, Steph finding a spot farther out in the crowded field and parking, and with that she laughed as she pulled the keys from the ignition and jumped out of the car. "Oh man it's just like old times, isn't it?" She asked hearing the music from way out where they had been, and she walked over to meet him on his side of the car to wait for him.

Aiden had been running around his house all day cleaning things and keeping himself busy and even catching a soccer game on TV. He had been dying to see Steph today but knew he had to wait until the party. Plus she had said she was going to be busy most of the day. The only thing he knew about it was that she was spending a lot of time with one of her brothers lately. Aiden knew he had taken up a lot of her time lately so giving her time to spend with her family was fine with him. Though he had missed her today. He had gone through his closet a few times trying to find something that he knew she would love. He pulled out some of his nice looking comfortable clothes knowing he was signing his death warrant by wearing black because it was gonna be hot as hell but he didn't care. He could roll up his sleeves if need be. He heard Steph's voice as he was closing his bedroom door and smiled. He was messing with the latch on his watch as he walked out to where he finally saw her. He smirked as she said he looked good, "Hello to you too." He went to grab his keys only to see them in her hand. He arched an eyebrow and gave her a look. He had always been the one to drive and he couldn't even recall the last time he had seen Stephanie driving. "This could be interesting...," he laughed lightly as she said she was driving. He followed her as he was being pulled towards the door. He locked it behind him once his keys were giving to him. As he saw her brother's truck out in front of his house he gave her a strange look, "What'd you have to do to get your hands on this?" He knew how her brother felt about the truck and was surprised he had let Stephanie use it. Aiden shoved his keys into his pocket as he got in on the passenger side and buckled up. He then clasped his hands together and acted like he was praying, "Please god let us get to this party safely and not die by the inexperienced driver's hands. Amen." He then peaked through one eye over at her and smirked. He leaned over and kissed her cheek lightly, "Just kidding you look gorgeous by the way." He had been a bit stunned the first time he saw her by how good she looked. He hadn't had the chance to tell her until now. They had a fun car ride over and once the barn came into sight he looked over at her. They hadn't been to a party together in a while and Aiden hadn't really touched alcohol since then. He might have one beer and hopefully he won't get carried away with it. He had to be careful around alcohol given his history with it, "Sure is, but now I actually have the date I want for one of these things." He smiled over at her as he got out and placed a hand in hers, "Now let's have some fun." He walked her into the barn and already saw a few of their teammates. He smirked as some of them were in shock to see the pair together. He knew they were gonna bombard them with questions. There were a few girls from Stephanie's hallway that saw them and immediately looked jealous. He knew there were a lot of guys that would die to be in his position as well. He was just glad that it was finally him to be with Stephanie. "Can I get you a drink?," he asked curiously as he looked at her with a smile.

Stephanie met him around the other side of the truck and laughed as he slipped his hand into hers, it still felt weird to be holding his hand in public in more of just a platonic friend state of mind, but it was also most definitely a feeling she could get used to with some more time. The grin never left her face as she watched the few glances they had been getting, her leaned towards him with a "You'd think we were famous." She laughed, she had never pictured herself famous but from the amount of attention they were getting just barely it was as though they were walking down the red carpet or something. "This might just be better than I thought tonight," she grinned looking at him as she continued to walk by his side towards the party. She too saw those females that were just down the hall, Steph giving them a signature smirk and waving as she let her hand that she'd just used to wave rest on his stomach as they passed the two girls, Steph's head falling to rest on his shoulder. This was just for effect though, and she turned to look at them briefly after they had cleared them, and turned back just laughing shaking her head.
"If you can find some bottled water you'd be my hero, or I guess I could deal with a soda or something." She hoped there had been somewhere that had something other than alcohol around them, but if that wasn't possible she would at least take a few sips because he'd went through the trouble of getting it for her. When he turned to go get their drinks she grabbed him by the hand and spun him back around. "Let's really give these guys something to talk about." she spoke as she pulled him by the collar so his lips were level with hers, and right there dead center of teammates and other college students she planted a kiss on him, nothing friendly about this as she had packed it full of raw emotion, just leftovers from the many years she'd wanted but couldn't have him like that. She let go of his collar and let him pull from her as she just grinned, even after the 'i love you's' had been exchanged not too long ago she was still the same old goofball, and even if the two hadn't actually been official before she probably would have done something like that. "Hurry back, I don't think i'm going to be able to keep the vultures away too long." She said as she grinned and could already see a few of her teammates coming in her direction.
Most of the girls were astonished and asked the stupidest of questions, but Stephanie did at least answer most of them. She hadn't let them in on the fact that the two were actually together though, she would just keep playing around avoiding those sorts of answers, she'd at least wanted to wait until Aiden got back so he could have a little bit of the fun by seeing their faces when the two broke the news. She honestly had no idea how that would work either, but still that grin shone so bright across her lips. Everyone who wasn't blind could tell that she had been in love with that boy who had just left, and she kept turning her head to the side hoping to catch a glimpse of him coming back. These girls really could talk way too much sometimes.

Aiden chuckled softly after she mentioned the famous thing. They had gotten most of the barn's attention by just making an entrance. Sure they were known around the college population due to being the stars of the soccer team. Soccer had been pretty big around Pleasant and grew even more popular once they became the best. He noticed her making the girls feel even more jealous his stomach tensing up as her hand rested against it. He hadn't expected it though he relaxed quickly after it, "My, my, like to rub it in now don't you?" He laughed as he shook his head at her. He was glad she wanted to do that though. He had noticed the glares and death stares her backside was now receiving. He planted a kiss on top of her head and smirked as he sure as hell wanted to send a message out to all those Davis fans.
"Bottle water it is then," he knew he would have trouble finding it but there had to be some water here. It helped to keep the buzz down or hold it back for a bit. So that you could only consume more so he would probably get lucky and find a few bottles untouched since the party just started. He turned to leave before she caught his hand and tugged him back. As he quickly turned back a wild smirk lit on his lips at her words before her lips crashed on his. He kissed her back wrapping an arm around her waist pulling her lower body into his. As she pulled back he moved in and placed a short light kiss on her lips before letting go knowing that even more attention was on them now. "I'll be back in a flash," he said softly before quickly turning to find her some water.
He walked over to the tables that were set up with all the booze you could want. He received a few high fives and head nods in approval that he had finally gotten together with Steph. Though he also received glares and looks of hatred though those didn't phase him. He looked around the table and grabbed himself a bottle of beer and started to look for the water. He couldn't find any but looked behind it and found a cooler with some bottles of water and quickly snagged one. He opened his beer on the edge of the table and took a sip before quickly making his way back to Steph. "Hey ladies," he said charmingly as he always tried to be with a grin on his face. He placed an arm around Steph's waist from behind and his chin on her shoulder, "Am I good or am I good?," he said softly in her ear as he held out the water in front of her. He kissed her neck lightly before straightening up and taking another sip of his beer.

Stephanie did not want to leave Aiden's side tonight, or moreso she did not want him to leave her with the group of girls that were rushing to her side, but of course after the kiss he had turned to leave. She rolled her eyes some with a laugh before she turned back to the group, ones that considered themselves friends with Stephanie though she barely knew their names, and as questions flew out in her direction she had a hard time keeping up with them. Luckily for her out of the corner of her eye she could see him heading back towards her direction, and when he'd reached her and the arm went around the back Stephanie just grinned. Thankfully she wouldn't have to endure the questions alone now, and when he whispered into her ear she cocked her head to the side some to see him better laughing as he kissed her neck. That had always been one of the most ticklish spots on her body, so as his lips brushed against her soft skin she squirmed bringing her body out of reach of him.
One of the girls took Stephanie by the arm drawing her closer to them and whispered something in her ear, Stephanie just laughed shaking her head as she pulled away. "Guys look, we did not come here to answer questions. We came here to have a good time, now scatter and have some fun damnit." She did not have an ounce of anger in her tone, more like playfulness as she walked back to Aiden about to bump her hip against his to get him to start moving away from the crowd, but she stopped seeing as he'd had the open beer. The last thing she wanted to do was to have to hang around with someone drenched in beer all night, the smell alone would drive her insane. "Come on, let's check out the scene." She told him as she started to walk beside him, Stephanie this time not holding onto a hand or anything as she opened her bottled water and took a sip. "Wow, nice and cold, guess you really are that good." She teased as she turned around the corner of the barn not yet entering but instead walking around the outside.
"This is weird isn't it?" She asked looking at him after she took another drink. "I mean we hung out all the time before and nothing, and yet we show up here tonight and it's like the entire damn college wants to congratulate us?" She shook her head, the only time Stephanie liked so much praise and acknowledgement had been when she was on the field, anywhere else and she felt sort of weird about it all. Stephanie did love showing affection though and even when the two were linked to one another she still would hold his hand and give him kisses, so what made tonight so different from any other? Could people honestly see through them enough to know that they had stepped up their relationship? Probably, it wasn't like she was trying to hide it any, if anything she was beaming from ear to ear. "I guess i'm just not all used to this attention off the field, though i'm sure I could get used to it." she grinned as she stopped walking and looked up at him some. "You're eating this right up aren't you, Mr. attention hog!" She laughed letting her backhand brush against his side in a pat. "Typical male," She laughed as she took his hand and kept pulling her in the direction around the barn just looking at everything, at the same time everyone looking in their direction also. "What do I do, just smile and wave?"

Aiden knew of her ticklish spot on her neck and always got a kick out of seeing her squirm when he kissed her there. As she shooed away the group of girls that had circled around her the second he had left her side he smirked, "I think you might have just ruined their night by not answering their two million questions." He laughed as he took another sip of his beer though he had seen how Steph had eyed it. Alcohol was always a touchy subject when it came to Aiden and anyone who knew him well. His brother hated him because of his alcohol problem it had reminded him of their father. Luckily he had gotten over that before it had really become a problem again thanks to Steph. The girl truly did too much for him and he didn't deserve her in his eyes. "You're too good to me you know that?," he asked curiously pulling it out randomly as he wanted to let her know what he thought.
As he walked the perimeter with Steph their hands together and close to each others sides. He watched as others envied them. Aiden nodded though at Steph's comments, "I know you would think people would learn to stare less!" He said starting the sentence out meaning it only for her to hear but growing louder as they passed a group of people that were staring. The group went back to what they were doing probably still talking about them but no longer staring. He didn't mind the attention but staring got to him after a bit. "Oh trust me you got attention from the male population off the field," he rolled his eyes at those thoughts. Half of the soccer team would do anything to get with Stephanie which perturbed him. He hoped they would tone it down though now that Aiden was actually with her.
Aiden laughed as he shied away from the playful slap on his back. "Of course I am. I have the prettiest girl here and i'm getting all the attention because of it." He smirked as he winked at her. Also the attention naturally boosted his ego but what guy wouldn't let it boost their ego? He gave a few head nods to some of his teammates as they passed them. "No, you don't wave. You make them stare even more," and before she had a chance to say anything Aiden had wrapped her up in his arms and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. This move earned them a few gasps, claps, and cheers. Aiden had a smirk on his face as his lips left hers, "Just enjoy it," he said softly to her.

Stephanie looked at him confused when out of the blue he'd said something like that, "What are you talking about?" She asked with a slight chuckle. "You're cute, you know that?" She asked laughing some now as she looked at him. "I know though, I guess i'm just a sucker for a hard luck case," she teased having known Aiden had some problems before, first with drinking and then smoking when he'd returned from Iraq. He must have quit though, either that or he hid his addiction well from her, because since the two were spending so much time together he'd never smelt of cigarettes or anything. She smiled as she looked infront of them as they started to walk, she was just glad and thankful that he could let her in his life like that to help him through those things. One day she might need help herself and she hoped Aiden would do the same for her. She knew he would though, he would always be there for her no matter what.
Stephanie's eyes widened as he directed his words towards a group near them, and couldn't help but grin as she watched him. "We should have figured the entire team would be here." she let out a groan, the team could be so immature sometimes whether male or female, but still this had been something big that Stephanie and Aiden had been displaying tonight. Something entirely out of the norm, who wouldn't want to stare at the two of them? She just rolled her eyes when he commented on the males giving her all sorts of attention, she knew that to be true but she also knew that those men were nothing that she had wanted. Sure the team did have it's attractive players, but their personalities turned her off more than anything. She hated how they would throw themselves in her direction, though it was so easy passing them off to another girl on the team, and eventually the men did get the hint and lay off of her. Now that she had been with Aiden though she had a feeling not too many of the teammates would try anything anymore, either that or they would have to deal with Aiden and she was guessing he could be pretty protective. Of course he could be, it was Aiden she was talking about.
And just like that he throws a lame comment out into the air, Stephanie of course laughing as she rolled her eyes playfully this time as she stopped to look up at him. "There are so many girls around prettier than me." she said as she looked around and pointed out a tall blonde in a short dress that had been dancing with a group. "Her for one, she's gorgeous." Stephanie had never found herself that attractive, she just hated being viewed as that, she wasn't supposed to be beautiful. She was supposed to be, well normal. When he kissed her she scrunched her nose up embarassed as she could hear the small crowd around them. "Easy for you to say." She told him against his lips so only he could hear. "You so owe me after tonight." she said with a grin as she gave him another simple peck and pulled away to take another drink, her bottle already half gone because drinking water seemed the best thing to do while trying to ignore her nerves.
