[/COLOR][/B]: Eli takes a lot of pride in his body. He's very fit, cut muscles. He works out a lot when he's not working or helping his mother. So it's not uncommon to see him walking around in gym cloths. When he's not wearing those, he's in his uniform he is a cop after all. He has short blonde hair, that he usually keeps very neat. His appearance can usually be decribed as neat and orderly something that he picked up in the military.
personality: Honor and Respect are two major components of Eli's personality. He served in the military as a Marine from the age of eighteen until he was 22. He's a good guy, he respects others, takes pride in the things that he does. When he was in high school, he was a bit of a wild child, going to parties. But that all stopped when he joined the military. He respects women, though he does have a tendency to hook up with women with whom he is not in a relationship with from time to time. He is a guy after all. Mostly his world revolves around his two year old daughter Naya (Ni-Uh) and doing whatever possible to take care of her. He has a short fuse when it comes to certain things, and its easy to push his buttons. Though he is not a violent person by nature only when provoked.

history: Elijah Grayson and Katherine Rivera were together since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, or at least that's how it felt. They met in middle school, and it only took a week before Eli was wrapped around her finger. They dated from that point on, all throughout high school, and even after he had enlisted in the Military. All his life Eli couldn't wait to join the Marines, his father had been one, and his grandfather had been in the Army. He felt it was his destiny to become a soldier and fight for his country. Kat hadn't been happy about his decision but she said that she loved him and she respected his decision.

Eli proposed to Katherine just after he got back from boot camp, he wasn't exactly sure if he was ready to get married yet, but he felt like they had dated for so long that it was time he put a ring on her finger. Katherine agreed to marry him, but only if he served the required four year commitment and nothing more and he agreed figuring that he could change her mind. Right after boot camp he was sent straight to Iraq, though he didn't really see any enemy fire, his unit was stationed where there wasn't much action. He basically spent his days playing football and catching a tan.

When it came time for his contract to be renewed Katherine told him that she was pregnant, had had mixed feelings about the whole pregnancy, he didn't really know if he was ready to be a father or not. But Katherine delived her ulimatium, if he renewed his contract, she would not only leave him but she would get an abortion. That was something Eli was against with all his heart, so he declined renewing his contract and came home to point pleasant. He instead did what his father did when he got out of the marines and went to the police academy and became a cop. Throughout her pregnancy Katherine and Eli planned their wedding.
Than Naya was born, from the moment he held his daughter in his hands, Eli knew that he would never be the same again. He thought that he loved Katherine, but he had never felt love like this before. After giving birth to Naya, Katherine was never the same. She was moody and distant, she came and went as she pleased leaving their daughter at Eli's parents house as much as she wanted to. Eventually she left all together leaving Eli to raise Naya all on his own.

Eli's parents still help him out with watching his daughter while he's at work, since his day job is still being a Cop. Right now he's just working in a regular position, but he's hoping to one day transfer into narcotics or the special victims unit. When he's not working, working out, or taking care of Naya he helps out at the bakery his mother owns as payment and thank you for helping him with Naya.
