Emilee had been at home for most of the day today. Her boyfriend, Brett, had been constantly working on his car, and so to say Emilee was getting just a bit fed up with it. He would tell her that he couldn't spend the night with her because he got carried away working on said car, and she didn't mind it, but when it was beginning to become like that everyday, she had a bit of a right to become just a little bit angry that she hadn't been seeing her boyfriend as often as she'd like to. The two of them fought over pretty much anything if it got in their way of being together or alone, and sure, Emilee did hate it. She knew it wasn't good to be with someone if all you did was fight, but if she and Brett knew how to make afterwards, why was it so bad? It wasn't, in her opinion.
Everyone of her friends tried to tell her that Brett wasn't good for her, and she never listened. Obviously, she loves him. At this point, things had been going good until him working on his car got in the way. As hard as Emilee tried not to mind it, he was a twenty five year old grown man and she couldn't just tell him to stop working on whatever he was doing to go and be with her. That wasn't love and it wasn't a right thing to do in Emilee's book. Right now, she was pretty content with the way things were going with Brett, and as long as she could keep the fighting away, the better. When they weren't fighting, they could hardly keep their hands off of each other and that was clearly a good thing. She loves being able to be so hands on with someone like Brett, and at this point, she wouldn't do anything to risk losing him.
It was beginning to get later, and Emilee was bored. A few minutes ago, she was texting, and she happened to pull a text to her friend, Archer, who she hasn't seen in a few weeks, to see what he was up to. He replied telling her that he was out drinking, and Emilee figured that she could go out as well and see him. She hadn't been out for a night on the town in a while, so she definately needed some type of an escape for a few hours, and she sure as hell could get that escape with Archer. Emilee got up from her made bed, and she walked over to her closet to pick out an outfit. About ten minutes later, she came out dressed in a pair of shorts and a velvet colored shirt, with the same colored shoes to match. She stopped to look at herself in the mirror as she tucked her cellphone and some money into her two front pockets, and she picked up her brush, running it through her straightened gold locks, before sliding her two feet into a pair of heels to complete her outfit.
Before Emilee had met Brett though, she had a little bit of a screwed up relationship with her friend, Archer. The two of them had met and they hit it off instantly and became friends. Emilee was attracted, yes, she wasn't going to lie. He was a good looking guy and the only downside was that he was five years younger than her. Whatever, age is just a number. They were friends for quite a few months, and they were pretty much attatched at the hip. They always played around with each other and called each other names, but it was all in good fun. After a night of drinking though, the two of them went back to his place and ending up sleeping together. Emilee was good with it, thinking it could have been just a one night thing, but it wasn't. They slept together a few more times after that, maybe four, Emilee had a weird thing with counting.
Two of those four times were sober times. Times where the attraction couldn't help itself and things just...went. It was hard for Emilee, because she never knew what Archer was thinking, but the day finally came, where Archer sat Emilee down and told her that he didn't think it should happen anymore. The only thing that ran through Emilee's mind was that she completely agreed, she didn't want to mess up their relationship and friendship. Since that night, they have been back to their normal friendship, but the flirtation is always still there, and Emilee seemingly thinks that it will always be there. She really didn't know what it was, but she seemed to forget about it when she met Brett. Any other guy she knew seemed to fly out of her head, and it wasn't a good thing to forget about her friends. She was never the type of person to do something like that.
Picking up her car keys from her dresser, she walked out of her bedroom and closed the door behind her. She walked out of her house and made the front door was locked, before making her way down to her silver Yukon truck that was sitting in the driveway. Opening the door, she climbed in and closed the door behind her, putting the keys into the ignition. Emilee backed out of her driveway and made her way onto the road, slowly making her way to Club Adrenaline to meet up with Archer. Ten minutes passed and Emilee had finally arrived, before parking her car into a parking spot, and taking the keys out of the ignition. Quickly, she opened the door and hopped out, closing the door behind her and placing her keys into her back pocket. She had been so hyped to meet up with her friend, it seemed like all she wanted was to get into the club.
Time seemed to pass quickly as Emilee got into the club and didn't even look around for Archer at first. Concerned about her own self, she smiled at quite a few guys that looked at her, and she made her way to the bar to get a drink. As soon as she ordered her first one, the next few seemed like a little bit of a blur as time passed quicker than she expected. Before she knew it, she had three shots of Tequila in her system, and she was on her third glass of Sprite and Vodka. Don't get her wrong, she wasn't such a drinker, but after going through such a hard past couple of days with Brett, she needed to let loose, and if this was what it meant by letting loose for her, then so be it. Emilee picked up her cup and sipped through the straw, before turning to sit down at a table.
Archer floated back into her mind as she looked around for him while searching for a table to sit at, and finally, seeing his face made her own face light up. Emilee slowly walked over to Archer's table, and placed her drink down across from his, sitting down with a smile on her face. "Heyyy, you." Emilee spoke, softly. It was apparent that she had been here for a while, clearly buzzed, but by the look on his face, he had obviously been here for the same amount of time, doing the same. Leaning over the table, Emilee planted a small kiss on Archer's cheek. "I missed your face, where have you been all my life?" She asked, playfully. Hypothetically speaking, she had only meant where had he been for the past couple of weeks, but she was sure he knew that, because of how well he knew her.
