Lilith Collins sighed and she sat on her computer with her laptop sitting in front of her. She could hear the screaming coming from outside her door. Her parents were drunk...again. She hated living in this house, she hated this life that she was dealt. But at least there were some good things about it that kept her hanging on. One of them being a furry creature that had just crawled up on her lap and stood on its hind legs to look her square in the face. Bob, the ferret. Her brother had gotten it for her when he had moved out, so that she could have someone to keep her company and so she wouldn't go completely insane from loneliness. Bob had proved to be a good friend for her, quite entertaining he had a personality all his own, and there was never a dual moment with him. He was always hiding little things that he could get his hands on. She had to go searching for her school ID and house key practically every other day.

Bob placed his little clawed hand onto her arm and pushed himself up and smelled her. "What do you want Bob?" Lily asked, looking down at the small creature that of course couldn't respond, or probably understand her, all he did was tilt his head to the side and stare up at her. He probably didn't like all the yelling that was going on downstairs. Lily sighed as she heard the volume of the yelling increase, and ran her hand down Bob's furry back. "I know I know, but what can I do?" she asked him, picking him up off her leg and holding him. She walked over to his cage and placed him inside, gave him some food closed the door. She checked his water bottle to make sure he had enough.

Lily sat down at her desk, and attempted to do some homework. But as the sound of things flying downstairs started to get louder and louder she knew that she would never be able to concentrate. She closed her books, and put them into the bag she used for school. Walked over to her bedroom door and locked the deadbolt that she had installed herself. She didn't trust her parents in her room when she wasn't around. They were crazy drunks. She went into her closet and pulled out a little animal carrier and opened the gate. She had just put Bob in his cage, but since she had decided she was going to go out, she knew she couldn't leave him in the house by himself. What if her parents set fire to the house than he would be killed. She usually tended to take Bob with her when she could. She didn't take him to school though, she had no fear of anything happening to him while she was there because her parents were usually passed out during those hours. She knew that where she was going he would be okay in his portal cage.

Once she had Bob secure in his little crate, she grabbed her bag and the crate and then opened her bedroom window and climbed out. Thank god she lived on the first floor of her house, otherwise this might have been a little harder than she really wanted it to be. She looked at her phone trying to figure out if Allie was home from school yet but it didn't really matter anyway, even if she wasn't she could still hang out at her place. Allie's place had become like a sanctuary to her from her house. She was usually there more than she was home. So she walked from her parents house to Allie's. Once she got there she knocked on the door, and went in when she was granted entrance to the house. She looked around looking for Allie to see if she was home and noticed that her older brother Dominic was there playing video games. She smiled as butterflies floated around in her stomach. She had the biggest crush on him.

Lily walked up behind the couch and looked at the screen. She loved playing video games, she was pretty good at them too. Not incredibly amazing or anything like that, she wouldn't be winning any gamer challenges anytime soon. But she could hold her own when she played online. She smiled, and worked up enough courage to say something to him. "Hey cool, you're playing video games. What are you play?" Oh great..she sounded like a total loser didn't she, why couldn't she have thought of anything good to say to him.

Today had been an easy day for dominic he had class in the moring and he was off from work today and plus the only class he had today was just a review for the up coming test. So no writting papers or having to pull and all nighter. He got up from his bed and took a quick shower just standing there as he was still some what groggy from the night before, he had worked late which was no suprise to him but he hadn't slept well for the last couple days the semester was in full swing and there wasn't a day where his classes left him a ton of homework to be done which meant from working late nights he would stay up and be
writting papers to early hours of the moring. So today he took it as a day to just realx and take it slow. He stepped out of the shower he walked back into his room and there scattered on the table you saw open books a bunch of papers on the floor dictonaries,and other wrtting resources that he used to write his papers with. That was usually how his room was kept he cleanned it from time to time but being a writting major and studying to be a teacher it was just more natural for his
room to look the way it did. He walked over to his dresser and grabbed a pair of jeans and a white t shirt and put them over and a pair of low top converse's to complete his look. He looked at his left arm and walked over to his dresser where he picked up some cream and placed on his newly done sleeve tattoo which he had just recently got done. It was something he wanted for awhile now he still hadnt shown any of his family his new ink but he knew in time they would hear of it and see it
so it made no difference. Taking one final look he grabbed his keys and made his way out of his house and into his car he decided he would go over to his parents house and just hang out for a bit. He turned on his car and made the long drive over there. As he arrived he walked in and greeted his mother who had been home sick he kissed her and they spoke for a bit. He explained how things where goin in school and at work.

After a long chat with his mom he gave her her medication as she went into her room and she fell asleep he amde his way to the kichen and made himself a sandwhich and poured himself a glass of his moms famous ice tea and walked into the living room. None of his other siblings were home so he turned on the tv and saw a little of sportscenter and got caught up with everything in sports as he ate his sandwhich. Sportscenter came to a close and he had finished his sandwhich dom decided to play a lilttle call of duty before he was going to head back to his place he got up and walked the dishes into the kitchen and placed them on the sink he arrived back in the living room where he turned on the video game console as he sat on the ground as the game started he handnt played in a while so he was rusty he sat as the first couple game he was horrible but as he kept playing the better he got. He heard a knock on the door but by that time his dad had come home and let whoever it was in he didnt really pay attnetion to who it was he was to into his game right now.

He was on a rampage getting kill after kill that he didnt know he wasno longer alone in the living room he was about to get the final kill when a voice spoke "hey cool,your playing video games, what are you play"? he was quick to turn around when he saw lilli standing there she was allie's ex boyfriends little sister he hadnt really spoken to her on knew anything about her then just that. She hung around allie and was here alot. He paused the game as he focused his attention to her "well i play some cod, you play"? he said
looking at her with a small faint smile he waited for her to answer as he grabbed the other control and held it in her direction he waited for her to grab it and take a seat next to him it would be fun to kill somebody new...how much could she know about video games more then she lead on and dom was soon to find out....

Lily had gone to Allie's parents house because it was closer than going to Allie's actual apartment. She didn't really want to have to walk across town unless she had to. She figured that if Allie wasn't there she would hang out there until she got back. Or call her or something. But she was pleasantly surprised when she saw Allie's older brother Dominic playing video games in the living room. She could feel the butterflies fly around in her stomach as she looked at him. From the moment she had been introduced to him back in the day she had, had the biggest crush on him. She knew that he was older than her, and that there was probably no chance . But a girl could dream couldn't she?

Lily knew that if anything the age thing would probably be the biggest thing against her chances on getting with him. From what she knew, he was around twenty four, and she had just turned eighteen in February. By most people's standards she was still a baby. But she was far from it, she had basically raised herself since her brother had moved out. But she figured the six year difference would work against her, and he'd never think of her in any other way than a child. But that didn't stop her from wishing and hoping, and it definitely didn't stop her from being tongue tied and nervous around him. Normally the only thing she was ever able to say to him was hey. Not that he had ever made any effort towards conversation either.

Dominic paused his game and turned to look at her, she could feel her stomach doing flip flops and summersaults. The biggest smile came across her face at the sheer fact that he was acknowledging her. He asked her if she played, and she grinned nodding her head. "Kinda..." she purposely understated her skills at call of duty so she didn't come off as cocky, also so she had the upper hand. Some guys liked a girl who could play video games. She'd been told by a couple guys at her school who she played live with that it was hot when a girl could kick their ass at call of duty. But she wasn't interested in boys her own age. They were so immature and childish. Plus none of them caught her attention.

Lily went around to where he was sitting, and sat next to him. She sat the crate with Bob inside of it next to her so that the open part was facing her. He immediately came over and stuck his nose through one of the little holes and sniffed to investigate his new surroundings. She set her bag down next to the cage and took the controller from Dom and looked at him with a smile waiting for him to start a game between the two of them. When he did, she played it cool for a little bit. Letting him kill her a couple times to make him think that she wasn't very good at it. But then, after a little bit she snuck up behind him out of nowhere and shot him.

Dom waited until lili sat down as she took the control and handed it to her. He took his phone and answered a quick txt before he turned his focus back to the tv when he saw she was ready he unpaused the game and there they began the first couple kills were easy enough a smirked came across his face as like he had thought before this was going to be easy and out of nowhere she started getting kills he was taken by suprise as she seem to get better maybe it was going to be as easy as he thought it would be. "wow your pretty good totatlly fouled me" he said with a small smile as the game came to a draw she had gotten around 10 or more kills. Dom was impressed there was no denying that he put the control down as he got up from the floor and sat on the couch he looked over at her once again "could have fooled me your really good at cod....thats an awesome trait to have not a lot of people can say they have come to a draw with me on it...well at least not anybody that is alive." He gave out a little chuckle he looked over to his left and saw a little fury head pop out he got up and walked over to where bob was and crouched down "hey little guy whats your name...arent you an intersting looking ferret" he peted bob on top of the head as he introduced himself and looked over at lili "so im guessing he is yours right?....i guess we never really had the chance to actually have a one on one conversation...i know ive seen you before with allie...so what brings you to my parents house"? dom stopped playing with bob as he turned his attention to lili this would go down as there first actual conversation ever sustained.

Lily was trying hard not to kick his ass to badly. She wanted to show him that she could hold her own during video games, while at the same time not making him look to badly. She knew how fragile the male ego could be. Plus she wasn't exactly on her A game either. He was completely distracting being all sexy and all. It took almost all of her concentration and will power not to just stare at him and droll. She managed to get the final kill of the game, and she grinned. "I like to keep people guess I guess." Lily said with a smile, and tucked some of her hair behind her ear. She looked at him as he got up.

"Well thanks, you're really good too. I mean I'm okay at COD, but I'm way better at Halo, so its probably good we didn't play that game. Cause I would have put you to shame." She gave him a teasing smile trying to show she was kidding. But she was being pretty serious. She just didn't want to seem too cocky. "I play online with your brother Alex all the time. You should totally play with us one time!" Wow, she felt like she was getting carried away, they'd never really talked before and now she was assuming that he would want to play halo with her. She couldn't help it, she really liked him. She wanted an excuse to be able to talk to and possibly hang out with him again.

Lily watched as Dominic walked over to bob's carrier and pet his head. Bob was a complete attention whore. So he was eating up the attention that Dom was giving him. He even brought his little paw out and put it on top of Dom's hand sniffing it. "I should warn you, if you've eaten anything recently he might get a little carried away. He's not only an attention whore but he's also a pig. But you can give him one of these and you'll be his new best friend." Lily dug through her bag and took out a little package with his treats in it. Immediately when bob heard the noise that the package made he got excited and tried to push Dom's hand away with his paw and reached out for the treats.

"Yeah he's mine, he's my pet. His name is Bob. I wasn't feeling very creative when I named him. But he seems to like it don't you bob. " Lily said, offering Dom the little package of treats. She shrugged when he said that they never really had a conversation before. They hadn't but he was totally making up for it right now. "Your parents let me hang out here sometimes while I wait for Allie to pick me up and sometimes I hang out with Alex too. I don't sent much time at my house and your mom and dad don't mind me hanging around I think they like the company."

So cod wasnt lili's cup if tea she was more of a microsoft fan than a sony fan which in this day and age was no suprise. The console wars had been going on for such a long time. in ways things got a kick off when microsoft announced the realease of their own video game console called x-box which changed the way people played games and it was the birth place to the concosle wars. Then came the whole next gen consoles with the brith of the x-box 360, Ps3 and even nintendo tried to get in the fun with the wii but lets face it nobody played wii. You were either a sony fan or a micorsoft fan. And dom was def a sony fan he loved everything about and since the ps3 had come out dom had wanted it but it was around the time his family hit that finacial rut. So he did what any other kid would do he got himself a part tiem job after school and saved up his money until he finally had enough he was so excited when he received that last paycehck he needed he remebered running to his local walmart and making his way to the electronic section and letting the sales associate know that he wanted a ps3. The assocaite openned up the case and got dom's ps3 out and 2 games he took the device back to the register and rang up his purchase dom handed him the money and got a bag with his stuff the biggest smile came across his face once the sale had been final. The clerk thanked him and dom walked with his bag as soon as he was out of the store he ran all the way home and up to his room he didnt even stop to say hi to his family it was straight to go play his game he took everything out of the box and hooked it up as he placed the game disc in and the adventure began. And that how it was for dom when he purchased his ps3. "halo huh yea its a pretty awesome game but i can hold my own aganist anybody thank you very much" he laughed. He wasnt trying to sound cocky but it was something dom was a natural at when it came to games.

She went on to say how she would have kicked his ass and how she and alex played online all the time and how he should join them one time 'are you asking me on a date little one...cause lets face it anybody can kick alex's ass on videogames i make him my bitch all the time. there was another laugh that dom let out it was true he owend his brother when it came to any type of videogames cod,basketball,baseball,football you named it and dom would pretty much make alex look like a girl. "but yea maybe one day we can play again look forwarded to it but next time you better not be "holding back" im expecting you to bring your a game. As for food yea he is a funny little guy he might like me now i had a sandwhich before"

Bob was an unsual name for a ferret but he seem to enjoy it so that was all that matters dom took the treat from her hand and he smiled when bob came near his direction again as he extended his hand out and left bob have his treat. "hes a funny little guy so full of life i got two dogs myself back at my place my rents our cool like that they just seem to like the company around so its no question why they like you heat...im srry to hear about your home but hey think of us as your extended family allie and alex seem to like you and just this small time i havent spent with you has made me like you to"That was the truth something was happing between lili and dom this first time interaction was more then that it seem like it. Dom got a text and took his phone out and was quick to respond and place the phone back in his pocket "so are you hungry or something wanna go get a bite to eat or some ice cream treats on me?" he flashed a small cheesy smile as he got up and put his shirt back on as he put the controllers away as he waited for her to get up he wanted to spend more time with her and get to know her a bit more....

Lily smiled when he said that he could hold his own against anyone. She wondered how true this was. She didn't want to come off as cocky, but she was pretty good at Halo, especially playing online. Playing online could he hard sometimes, especially when you had guys who acted like playing halo was their job and played for hours. She still usually kicked their butts though. Normally she stayed off of the headsets though, once guys found out they were playing against a girl they usually turned into perverts, she hated that. The only time she really put the headset on was when she played private games against friends. "I don't know... Maybe we'll have to see who's skill's out match who's?" She asked with a grin.

She turned a bright shade of pink when he asked her if she was asking him on a date. Did it sound like that? She coughed, trying to make it look like she had choked on saliva or something instead of blushing. "Well we could make it fancy, and say the winner takes the loser out to dinner?" She asked tilting her head to the side. Her insides fluttered with excitement at the thought of possibly maybe going to dinner with him. "Oh no holding back next time. I'll bring my A-game." She said with a grin and ran her fingers through her hair. "Oh he probably smells it on you."

Lily watched him feed the treat to Bob, and watched as the furry creature went nuts taking the treat from him and quickly ate it looking for another one. "Yeah he's got his own little personality, and he's spoiled too." She said with a laugh, knowing it was her own fault that she was so spoiled. "Oh i love dogs!" She said with a smile. Lily always loved dogs, she always wished she could have one, but she knew that was impossible with her current living situation. Maybe when she got her own place. "What kind do you have?" She asked tiling her head to the side curiously wondering what kind of dogs he had.

"Yeah your parents are amazing! I'm really grateful that they let me hang out here and take care of me." She said sounding truly grateful. She smiled even more when he said that the small time that he had spent with her made him like her. Her heart jumped for joy, wondering that maybe if he spent more time with her, he'd like like her like she liked him. "Now who's asking who on a date?" She teased him, purely kidding. She just wanted to get him back for suggesting that she had asked him on a date earlier. Though she wouldn't deny that she was thoroughly excited to be going out somewhere with him. "I'm kidding. But sure I'd love to go get some ice cream with you or something if you want. I'll never say no to ice cream." She stood up and picked up her bag and bobs cage, and looked at him to lead the way.

Dom waited as he was ready to go and get ice cream with lili in some way he was ussing this as an excuse to spend more time with here he didnt know what it was about her but there was something he was beginning to like and enjoy. It only seem right that ice cream was the bes choice for the both of them as they began walking out of his parents house and into the street the ice cream parlor that dom always went to was right down the street from lhis parents house. "i have an english bull dog that i named louie, yea i wasnt original with his name either but jst like bob likes his name so does louie he let out a small chuckle as they drew closer to the place. As they were walking dom kinda pushed her playfully as he looked at her and began to walk faster as to get away from her he was just that type of guy that would do anything for fun and not have any type of dull moment. He looked back at her and gave her a haha what you going to do about it look as another smile came across and he winked at her as he was now jogging.

Dom kept the game going until they finally reached the shop he open the door for lili and waited for her to go in like a gentlemen and walked in behind her they were seated at a booth and greeted byt the waitrees "hello welcome to the shop my name is amanda ill be your waitress today may i take your order"? she said everything with a smile as dom looked over the menu he already kbew what he wanted he had been coming here since he was a kid but he just wanted to see if anything new would catch his eye but nothing did he looked at the waitress " yea can i have the monkey bliss mania and a glass of water and whatever she is having"[\color] he said looking over at lili he sat there and wondered what she might order.

After they had placed their order and the ice cream had been brought to them it was a bit silent at first between the two of them spoonful after spoonful they both ate. And finally dom broke the silence "so tell me more about yourself i would really like to get a better feel for you what some of your hobbies and likes your type of music you know all the general 411 n i know your brother dated or still does whatever they are i hope you know and im talking in all honest here hes not very liked my family."[\color] dom wasnt trying to be forward it sort of came out he felt bad he shouldnt have said what he jst said. But he did want to get to know her maybe dom was wrong bout noah and who better to say then his own sister. He jst looked at her and waited for her reaction and responce in a way this was their first date and neither of them knew that......

Lily could feel the butterflies fluttering around in her stomach and causing her nerves to act up. She had day dreamed about this moment happening for, well forever now and now that it was finally here she felt like it was too good to be true. Was she dreaming? No she couldn't be, her dreams were never this good, but neither was her reality...Had she died, was this heaven? It had to be, this was the only logical thing to explain what was happening. She wasn't used to things she wanted coming to be. She followed along side of him as they walked to the ice cream polar. She smiled when he told her about his dog. "I love English Bulldogs, and Louie is a great name, a strong name. Do you call him King Louie sometimes?"

She practically smiled from ear to ear as he playfully pushed her. Oh boy was this really happening? She couldn't believe it. "Hey come back here!" She yelled playfully after him, as he took off and was at a jogging pace. She took off after him, running carefully so as not to jostle bob around in his cage. She knew he was probably freaking out already wondering what the hell she was doing. She smiled when they got to the shop and he held the door open for her like a gentleman. She definitely wasn't used to this kind of behavior. Slid into the booth next to him, placing bobs cage under the table quickly so no one would notice it. She looked up at the waitress when she came over, listening to what he ordered. She smiled kindly at the waitress when it was her turn and said. "I'll just take a hot fudge sundae with vanilla ice cream please."

It was simple, she wasn't really the type of person to like big extraordinary things. Simple things made her happy. She smiled at Dominic when the waitress left, glad the two of them were finally alone together. She felt like the grin on her face made her look like a complete idiot, but she really didn't care. Words could not express how happy she was to be sitting here with him at this precise moment in time. Then he started asking about her, and she felt a little awkward. She never really liked to talk about herself, probably because her life really sucked. But she figured she could oblige him since he was buying her ice cream, and it would give them something to talk about. "Uh me...huh..."

She said, thinking of what she wanted to say. "Well for starters, I love to write, I want to be a writer, fiction mostly but I mean I want to go to College for journalism to and get a job at a news paper to pay the bills while I try to write the next great American novel or something to that effect. Not even sure if my writing is that good, but isn't that what every writer strives for?" She felt like he had just really rambled a lot about nothing, and hopped that she didn't make herself sound like a complete idiot "I also like playing video games, It might jus tbe my favorite pass time, besides writing. But you already know I have pretty good skills at games." Lily said with a little laugh. "Music wise, I tend to listen to anything, I love rock though, my favorite band is Pierce the Veil, I pretty much love them. I don't know if you've heard of them though they're not all that popular I don't think."

The comment that Dom made about her brother didn't really effect her much. She knew that Allison's family didn't really like her brother Ryland, and she was okay with that. They didn't really know her the way she did, they didn't really know what they went through with their childhood or lack there-of so they would never fully understand him. "A lot of people don't like Ry, but they just don't know him, and they don't understand him. That's fine though." She said with a shrug of her shoulders. She knew that her brother had a tendency to be a complete dick, espeically when he was high and that wasn't exactly everyone's cup of tea. But after everything that Ryland and Lilith had been through, she would never turn her back on him. "What about you, what kind of things are you into?"

Dom listen as she spome about how people just didnt understand her brother but for whatever the reason he didnt care... It really didnt invlove him so he didnt really want to get in to it.....not that he didnt care about his sister but she was old enough to determine what was wrong and right she didnt need people hding her hand through life. Then something caught his attention as he took his last spoon full of ice cream before he spoke "thats a funny thing im a writer to as a matter of fact thats what im going to school for i wanna be a writer but of that doesnt go as plan im also studying to be an english teacher kind of my back up plan.....so i guess we do have some things in common" .

As dom took his last gulp of water so it would give him time to think of other things he was into it did.t take hom long before he spome again "im into alot of things music,sports,writting of course but the biggest thing that i enjoy is movie..nmim a movie junkie its probally one of my favorite passions i can stay home and watch movies for days.....old school movies are my favs like citizen kane,on the water front anything marlon brando would be my best choice im simpler words im kinda of a boring square[\color] he let out a small laugh after all that because he had just realized how much of a bore he was.

" yea thats pretty much sums me up in a nutshell what else would you like to know about me jst go ahead and ask.... he took another sip of jis water as he had shared what she wanted him to share. Now it was now up to her to keep asking questions or move on to sometjing else in pther words the ball was in her court now...

Lily noticed that he basically ignored her comment about her brother, and she was absolutely fine with that. She didn’t want to end up getting into an argument with him or anything like that. She liked Dominic but her loyalty to her brother outweighed her feelings for him. Ryland had given up so much for her and was always there for her, she would pick him over anybody hands down anytime. She smiled when he said that he was a writer too, it seemed like they had more in common then she actually knew about. "That’s amazing!" Said excitedly glad that they actually had their passion in common. She tried to reframe herself from day dreaming about how amazing it would be for them to be older, lying in bed next to each other reading the others writing.

"That’s actually a really good idea. I might steal it from you." It was actually really smart. In the writing industry, like any other industry like it you weren’t guaranteed anything. You could be discovered tomorrow or ten years from now. Sometimes maybe night even until after you were dead. At least with a teaching degree you knew that you could always get a job somewhere. "It’s a really smart plan." She said with a smile, still amazed by the fact that they had so much in common with each other "we do, it’s like some amazingly odd coincidence." She said with like a second of a smile, and then she felt embarrassed because she thought maybe what she had said had been a little too forward.

"Wow…" Was all she could really manage to get out at first after he had rattled off the list of things that he was interested in. It was honestly amazing to her how much they had in common. It was like they were made for each other or something. She couldn’t get over it. "We have so much in common, its amazing. I love all those things too." She said with a smile, feeling butterflies in her stomach even more than normal. The fact that they had all these things in common only reassured her that she was on the right path for liking having a crush on him. She felt as if it was only a matter of time until he crushed on her back. "So I don’t think you’re a square at all. We should have a movie Marathon sometime!"

She again felt a little self-conscious on whether she was being to forward or not. She was really bad when it came to guys. She’d never really had a boyfriend, she only had guy friends. She was usually too much of a rough kind of tomboy to attract boys outside of the friend category. So she hoped that her love for sports, and video games wouldn’t put her in the friend category with Dom. She would probably be devastated if it did. When he put the ball in her court to ask him questions about him, she failed at finding any questions to ask. She figured she should probably just be honest and let him know how socially awkward he was. "I’m sorry. I don’t really know what to ask you. You should probably know that I’m this like socially awkward loser who doesn’t really talk much. Well I mean if you get me in the right circumstances I can talk your ear off, but normally I’m shy and quit and kind of keep to myself. " She hung her head a little bit, feeling like he had just completely blew it. "So I can understand if you don’t want to..like hang out with me anymore or anything."

Dom watched as she went on her little rant about her being socially awkward he didn’t think that as a matter of fact he thought it was cute…sure she could be one of the guys but there was much more behind her that he saw. He was quick to place a finger on her lips to stop her from talking. ”hey I don’t think anything of it what kind of man would I be to just walk away from you….if other guys didn’t see how beautiful you are then they are stupid cause I see it and damn it im glad I asked you to eat ice cream there’s something about you Lilli that im liking I cant explain what it is but all I know is these few hours that I have spent with you have been the most fun I have had in the last couple months and for that I thank you I can only imagine what it must be like for you having to deal with the shit you deal with, I think its time for somebody to look out for you… I might sound crazy or stupid right now but I don’t care let me be the person to look after you. Let me be there for you when you fall ill be there to catch you… like I just said before I don’t know why im saying this I don’t want to freak you out or for you to think im some type of pervert because im not. And just like you said I will totally understand if you don’t want to talk to me now about that movie marathon if your not doing anything tonight then we can do it tonight…I have a bunch of movies that I haven’t watched that I think you might like.” he took the check and went up to the register and paid. He came back to the table and got his things as he waited for her to gather her things as he held the door open once she was passed it the walk back to his parents place was pretty much the same as when they had come. But the walk seemed shorter then before once at his parent’s house he said his goodbyes to them as he waited for Lilli to get in his car so they could go.


The drive to Dom’s house wasn’t a long one about 10 mins or so once he pulled in the drive way he got out of his car and waited for Lilli to get out he looked at her once and smiled ”welcome to my home now its nothing to big or flashy it’s small comfy place come one lets get out of this cold” with that he open the door the décor of the house was very Dom there was books and papers on the floor as most of his housemates where either journalism majors or teachers so it was only right for the house to be the way it was Dom gave Lilli a quick tour of the house as they finally made it to his room he open the door and his room was neat not a thing out of site or place except for his desk where he wrote most of his term papers he closed the door behind them and walked over to his movie collection. ”so what’s up first for our marathon” he let out a small laugh as he took out his collection of movies for her to pick one.

As he waited for her to chose one he walked into the kitchen and gathered up some snacks for them cookies,chips,popcorn and some drinks he returned to the room and placed the down as it seemed she was still deciding what movie to watch so he sat on his bed and kind of laid back looking at his ceiling waiting for her to chose what movie would be first he thought but couldn’t quiet figure out what she would choose the anticipation was killing im inside but he waited and dint want to ruin the surprise,,,,

Lily kept quiet while she listened to Dominic talk. Any normal girl would have been scared by how intensely he spoke after he had only just met her officially not that long ago. But Lily didn’t scare to easily. Growing up with what she did, you learned to have thick skin and be a good judge of character. Everything about Dom that she could read, lead her to believe that he was a honest to goodness good guy. She didn’t think that he would hurt her, or do anything like that to her. But she was also aware of the fact that her feelings for him could cause her to bias as well. But she felt that she could trust him, so she would. His words seemed sincere enough.

She had never heard someone talk so passionately before, especially about her. Most people didn’t pay her any mind, and the ones who did never really had anything nice to say to her. Well with the exception of her brother, and Allie’s friends and family. Lily’s cheeks turned bright red when he called her beautiful. No one had ever referred to her that way before. She wouldn’t lie she liked hearing it, and she lived even more that the person that she had such deep feelings for was the person whom was calling her beautiful. What she liked even more was the fact that he seemed to be developing feelings for her as well. Today had turned out to be perfect. She felt as if she was dreaming, and she hoped that she wouldn’t wake up any time soon. She would be devastated if she did.

Well Lily thought that he was developing feelings for her, but as he kept going, Lily was starting to question her assumption. Maybe she was wrong; maybe he was only starting to like her as a little sister. Especially when he talked about looking after her, that sounded very brotherly. But then the next second he said that he we wanted to be there to catch her when she fell. Which was defiantly something that you would say to someone you like, liked right? Her head was spinning with confusion. She knew that she was reading into this way too much. But she couldn’t help it; she liked him way too much to be stuck in the friend or little sister zone. It seemed truly unfair if she were to be stuck there.

"I don’t think you’re crazy or a pervert, and you’re not freaking me out at all. " Lily said, trying to reassure him that he wasn’t freaking her out, and she wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon, unless he wanted her to. "And I would love to hang out with you and watch some movies. That sounds amazing." Lily said with a smile as she got her things and walked out with him and back to his parents place. While he was saying his goodbyes she went to the bathroom and filled up Bob’s water bottle so she wouldn’t have to do it later. Then she made sure to say goodbye to his parents and thanked them as always for letting her come over and hang out at their house and gave them both hugs and kisses on the cheek.

She smiled at him when he welcomed her to his home. It was a tad messy, but she didn’t mind it. She imagined that this is what all apartments of college students looked like. Plus she couldn’t really judge her room tended to be a little cluttered as well. But mainly because she treated her room like an apartment and basically lived in there. As she walked through his apartment she looked for his dogs, but she figured that they must be hiding or something. Which was good for now because they probably would have scared poor bob. But she hoped to see them at one point. She smiled as they walked around and he gave her a tour. "I you’re your apartment, it’s very homey." She said with a smile.

As Lily followed him to his bedroom she could feel the butterflies in her stomach. She’d never been in the bedroom of a boy she liked before. The thought was totally exciting to her, but also terrifying at the same time. She set bob’s cage down on the floor next to his desk and then looked at his movie collection. He soon left the room to go get them some snacks. She looked over the movies carefully, feeling like there was so much pressure on picking the perfect movie for them to watch. He had come back before she had even decided on a movie. Keeping in mind the fact that he liked Marlon Brando, she picked up the Godfather box set. She hadn’t really seen all of the Godfather movies. She’d seen bits and pieces but not whole movies. Plus she knew that these movies were really long, which gave her plenty of time to spend with Dom and possibly cuddle with him…if she got lucky that is. "Okay I picked a good place to start I think. Please Don’t make fun of me, I’ve never seen all of these before." She admitted with a small little laugh. "Do you want me to put it in, or do you want to?"
