[/COLOR][/B]: Truett stands at an average 5'11" and has always been a bit stocky. He keeps himself in good shape since he likes to fight. True likes to keep his dark hair short because it's easy to manage. He wears his glasses whenever he can't buy contacts, but doesn't mind them like most contact wearer's do. As for apparel True wears anything that fits and so long as he can afford it.

Wears his heart on his sleeve: Truett has never been able to hide his emotions, no matter how small, from people. He has no problem letting people know how he feels either which can be a good, or bad thing.

Untrusting: Truett has a hard time trusting most people, but it's mainly directed towards adults, or authority figures. He has been let down at least once every day of his life by his mother, or one of her friends who claims to be 'extended family'. He has an easier time trusting people his age because he understands that they could be going through/gone through hard times just like he has.

Anger Issues: Truett was born into an unstable home causing him to go through chaotic situations that instead of understanding them just confused him more (because of his young age at the time). He's bitter towards his mother for not taking care of her children and takes that out on her. True also has a tendency lashes out at people, deserving or not, if they say something that rubs him the wrong way.

Insecure: Truett has never thought much of himself. How could he? His own mother chose to keep using instead of get clean and take care of her children. He basically gave up in school (having barely passed his junior year) and is convinced he won't amount to anything.

Independent: True has had to raise himself and his sister from an extremely young age. He has learned to not depend on others because they can't always be there for you. He plans to even get his own apartment soon for just him and his sister, but he has to wait until he's old enough to move out of his hell hole of a home.

Intelligent: Truett has always been incredibly smart and just chosen to not apply himself. The school counselor has taken an interest in him attempting to get him to apply himself more and more each year. But with his home situation getting even worse he's applying his smarts towards his financial situation and trying to get that settled before anything else. He also already has a good sense of how the world works and knows how to stand on his own, which is more than most sixteen year olds can say.

Trustworthy: Truett's word is his all he has had complete control over. So when he says he'll be there, or do something for you it'll get done. He doesn't want to let anyone down having been through it too many times himself to wish that feeling on anyone else.
likes:
fighting - it's a great way to get his anger out.
reggae music - anything to relax him after a chaotic day at home
video games - although he's done buying himself consoles because he's tired of them being stolen and sold for drugs
stealing cars - the adrenaline rush is unlike any other
indie rock - any chill music really is something True really enjoys listening to
smoking weed - takes the edge off at the end of the day (but doesn't let many people know he smokes)
dislikes:
being judged - it's a quick way to get on his bad side
drugs - he's seen what they can do to a person and won't do anything past marijuana, which of course he doesn't consider to be a drug
letting anyone down - although it never happens he fears it will all the time
school - see's no point in it since he won't go anywhere after high school anyways
his mother - true loves her but she's done nothing but disappoint him and his sister
strengths: independent, trustworthy, smart, knows how to have a good time, can talk his way out of almost anything.
weaknesses: has a hard time controlling his anger, can't trust adults, wears his heart on his sleeve which can get him into quite a bit of trouble.

history: True had a rough childhood, though growing up with a meth head as a mom would do that to you. His father left after his sister was born, seeing that things were only getting worse from there. Truett and his sister haven't seen/heard from him since. As a kid they moved from house to house, seeing things a child should never have to witness. True grew up taking care of his sister and really having no time to be a kid. And each day his mom would come back from getting high he would have mentally prepare himself for whatever state she would come back in. Some days she would come back and be overly sweet to her children, and other days she would come back and be nothing but cruel to them. It was enough to drive anyone a little crazy with instability. He did his best to shield his sister from seeing as much as he did growing up.

Truett has made sure his sister stayed out of trouble, but had a hard time doing the same for himself. With money always being an issue for his family he began to steal cars with some friends to help pay the bills. He hasn't been caught yet and has actually become pretty good at it. He may come off as a bad kid, but it always comes back to him finding a way to provide for his family with the resources he's been given, which isn't much. True moved with his mother and sister back to their grandmother's house. It didn't take long before his mother began to take advantage of their grandmother by letting her 'friends' move into the house. Now the house is overrun with drug addicts and criminals of all kinds. Truett is looking to move out and bring his sister with him as soon as he turns 18, but that won't be for a while.[/ul][/SIZE][/FONT]
