personality: Ellie is the most genuinely happy person you will meet. She has always had a optimistic outlook on life. She is the person that will strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone. Her charisma and easy going nature tend to draw people to her without really trying.
Although she is very happy, she is very hard on herself and a perfectionist. Ellie has always been told to always try your hardest, and never settle for second best. This has stuck in her mind through her whole life. Ellie won't stop until she is completely satisfied with her work. If she thinks she hasn't performed to her own expectations, she will sulk and beat herself up. She is also very passionate about everything she does, no matter one. Ellie puts her heart and soul into each new project she faces.
Some people don't realize how fragile Ellie's ego and self-esteem are. She always wants to make other people happy, and puts them before herself. If she thinks someone doesn't like her, it really gets to her, and wonders what she has done and tries, albeit sometimes a little too hard, to get them to like her.
likes:
Music; Ellie lives for music and loves all genres.
Cats; Yes, the standing joke is she will grow up to be a crazy cat lady.
Shopping; She will go shopping for anything, but clothes and shoe shopping are her favorite.
Dancing; This is what she lives for. From ballet to ballroom, any type of dance is her favorite.
Working out; Ellie loves working out, and the results that come with it.
Partying; She was known back home as the party girl and isn't about to change that reputation.
Boys; She loves checking out all the hotties on campus.
dislikes:
Stereotypes; Ellie hates stereotypes. She doesn't think anyone should hold a label and should be judged on their character not their racial background or sexual orientation.
Waking up early; Ellie is more of a night owl, and her eyes rarely see anytime before 10 AM
Being away from her family; Ellie misses her family a lot, and wishes they were closer.
Homework; Then again, who doesn't?
Being late; Ellie firmly believes in being punctual.
Not having someone to talk to; Most of the time anyways. She does enjoy spending time by herself as well.
strengths:
Being a people person
Not settling for second best
Her passion that she puts into everything she does
weaknesses:
Being too hard on herself
She never turns down an invitation to a good party, or an invitation from a hot guy.
Ellie sometimes tries perhaps a little too hard to fit in.

hometown: New York, New York
history: Ellie Mae Parker was the first born daughter to Chrstine Haydon-Parker and David Parker. She liked all things pink and girly, and instantly took a liking to dance. Christine couldn't have been more thrilled. Both parents loved their daughter very, very much. David Parker provided for his family through being a successful stock broker, and her mother, contrary to other women in the neighborhood, also had a job as a secretary at a law firm nearby. This just meant Ellie was instilled with a strong work ethic from the time she was a little child.
Throughout her childhood, Ellie rose through the ranks as a dancer, becoming very good and very successful. This is what she wanted to do when she grew up, it was her calling, and all of New York was her stage. She has always been outgoing and very lively. But as Ellie began maturing into a young woman, things began to change. Once she entered middle school, that is. Being a dancer was hard. There was always that competition. If you had even one bad day, you could be replaced faster than you could snap your fingers.
It was then that Ellie's parents noticed her perfectionist streak and urged her to just do her best, that's all they wanted. Ellie noticed that some girls were starving themselves or doing unhealthy things to their body. Right then Ellie promised herself she would work hard to get her body looking great by being healthy. But with everything, there was gossip and hurt feelings. Ellie tried to be nice to everyone, but would come home crying because someone said something mean about her. Christine comforted her daughter and told her to not worry about what those other girls said, and that they were just jealous.
Ellie continued to dance well, and continued her career through high school. But one day, everything changed. It was just in practice, a grand jeté, but somehow she landed wrong, her foot just slipped from underneath her and she broke her ankle, basically shattered it. She was told she would never dance ever again. And if she did, she would risk re-breaking her ankle and sustaining permanent injuries. So she was forced to give up her lively hood.
To say Ellie was devastated was an understatement. She had just graduated and applied to just about every arts university there was. What was she going to do? Well, she was going to have to do something and soon. Ellie couldn't stand to pass by the dance studio, let alone look her former fellow dancers in the eyes. Just as she was graduating, her sister Melissa was just entering high school.
Let's just say the two sisters didn't get along at all. They were complete opposites, and Ellie was jealous of her sister for having her whole life ahead of her to do what she truly loved. Then Ellie was given a wonderful opportunity. One of her friends told her to apply to a University in Point Pleasant, Florida with her. So they both applied and they were both accepted. Ellie was overjoyed to be going somewhere new, starting on a new adventure, and starting over where no one knew of her injury or her past. It was exactly what she needed. [/ul]

Ellie sat on the beach, just staring out across the ocean. It as her favorite place to be. She couldn't believe she was a senior at university. It just seemed like yesterday she was sitting in her room in New York filling out her application with her best friend. She couldn't help but smile as she remembered her hometown. But she didn't miss it, not at all. Of course she missed her parents, and her sister only a little bit. Ellie knew this is where she belonged though. It just felt right to her.
Once she began thinking of those memories, they just kept coming. Even the not so pleasant ones. Her eyes closed as the scenes flashed vividly behind her eyes. Some of them she wished she could forget. She just had to keep telling herself they made her who she is today. Then the next one hit her with the force of a hurricane. Ellie cringed as she remembered jumping up, feeling as if she were the best dancer on the planet, then she heard herself scream out in shear agony, and being picked off the floor and rushed to the hospital.
Then the vision flashed forward to physical therapy, sitting in the uncomfortable chair as she braced herself for the news. She definitely wasn't expecting to be told she would never be able to dance again, however. Ellie remember crying a lot. She jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder, bringing her out of her trance. "Ellie? Are you okay?" Her best friend sounded so worried. Ellie just nodded and smiled, batting at her eyes to dry up her tears.
