personality: Avery is the type of person who draws people in without a second thought. She's bubbly and full of life, so much so that she could be considered quirky or eccentric. For the most part she tries to see the good in everyone and anyone and there are few times she is actually angry with someone rather than feigning anger. Those few times that she has an actual goal she is extremely determined and stubborn, which causes her to become a hard-worker. Unfortunately due to her friendly and sociable nature, she is often considered quirky. Avery finds people interesting and intriguing and will often seem nosy but for the most people she tries to engage them in conversation. Due to her upbringing and her brother's protective nature she is naive. But oddly jaded about her romantic future, any commitment is a frightening thing for her and she will avoid it as much as she can. Emotionally despite her independent attitude she forges extremely strong bonds with those close to her.
likes: sleeping in, sunflowers, taking walks, plaid shirts, baking, candid photos, oranges, chai tea, flats, dogs, road trips, playgrounds
dislikes: holes in her shoes, alarm clocks, bullies, the topic of her future, frozen yogurt, black coffee, loosing little things in her couch, static cling, dust, top sheets on her bed
strengths: independent, personable, spontaneous, eccentric
weaknesses: impulsive, stubborn, determined, flighty

father: Gregory Kraft
siblings: brother Theodore
significant other (s): n/a
pets: Australian shephard named Niko
hometown: Burlington, Vermont
history: Born in Burlington Avery was extremely close to her mother. She was a sweet woman with a constant smile on her face. Her parents married at an early age because they were childhood sweethearts and her father was away from the house as much as possible due to his job as a cardiologist. One night when Avery went into the kitchen at the tender age of 7 she found her mother collapsed on the floor, a pot she had been washing still in her hand. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Avery and her brother were heartbroken when three years later her mother died still fighting with only her little girl and little boy next to her.
Throughout the years Avery and her brother basically lived together, their father simply paid the bills and the nanny. So she spent time with her brother and friends, while her brother protected her as much as he could. Once her brother was eighteen he moved to his own apartment with Avery in tow. From there he worked his way up in a restaurant and met a girl. They started dating and Avery loved his girlfriend but when he proposed to her she burst out into tears and said she had cheated on him. Avery hated her violently, so badly she feared she would actually hit her the next time she saw her. Finally as her senior year rolled around in high school she started dating one of her good friends. They were cute together but he decided to go to college in California. Annoyed Avery cut all contact with him and decided that farther away the better.
So she found herself in Point Pleasant after traveling from city to city for two years after graduating high school. Avery managed to get a job at a bakery and as a bartender. She's been in Point Pleasant for a year now, thankfully the travel bug hasn't hit her again, but it's only a matter of time.

Abigail Riley Jacobs didn’t know how she has ended up here. Most people went through the necessary steps before having a child. The house, the spouse, in addition to a proper job on both sides of the newly forming family. Somewhere in the usual Cinderella stories that she learned as a child her outcome had changed. There was no husband in sight, the child’s father had been killed on foreign land and there was the little subject of her killing super-powered villains. She wasn’t the typical single mother by far. Where others in her position were angry with their deadbeat husbands or some higher power for killing their loved one, Abby was especially furious with those that classified themselves at heroes.
A man with super-powers had told her fiancé that he would look out for him, yet in the end it wasn’t Rhett who had survived the war it was the one with the “gift”. Abigail had eventually confronted the man responsible, went on a tirade, even punching him (with unfortunately little strength) despite being heavily pregnant at the time. The twenty-five year old’s grudge had grown into a deep seeded hatred for the proclaimed heroes. To her they did nothing except show off and cause more chaos than necessary, more buildings seemed to be destroyed causing more people to be injured or killed.
So when she had learned about the rebel cause two years ago Abby had immediately signed herself up to help their cause. Most weren’t nearly as angry toward heroes as they were toward villains but most understood her reasoning well enough not to comment or attempt to change her mind. Despite the four years that had passed since Rhett’s life had been taken Abby still hadn’t wavered in her hatred. But having her son around seemed to lessen her fist clenching fury whenever the heroes great achievements were mentioned on the news. Her son, fondly called J.J. would always make a whooshing sound saying he wanted to fly like them. Abby simply attempted to smile and hugged her son tightly. After that he always asked her why and she would simply shake her head and offer him a snack or something to drink instead hoping to sidetrack his constant questioning.
At this age JJ short for Jethro Jacobs often questioned everything and anything, His favorite was why, but also enjoyed who, what, where and when on occasion. Thankfully she still had yet to be questioned about where babies come from but it seemed to be only a matter of time before one of his preschool friends decided to spark the idea into his little mind.
Groaning the brunette rolled over, blinking at the clock on her nightstand she yawned and rolled out of bed just as J.J. wandered into her room a broad grin stretching his small face. ”Are you ready for some breakfast buddy?” Abigail asked sliding on her slippers before scooping the four-year-old up as she walked toward the kitchen in their decently sized apartment. Before she could open her mouth to ask the toddler which cereal he preferred he shouted, “Lucky Charms mommy!” with a smiled before climbing onto his designated seat at the kitchen table. Abigail retrieved the cereal and poured some for both her and the happy four year old currently bouncing in his seat with anticipation. Just because she was a mother didn’t mean she had to act like one 24/7.
After getting everything ready for their day ahead the brunette and her short companion headed out the door, thankfully JJ reminded her to lock the door in her rush to leave. Ms. Jacobs held her son’s hand as they headed toward his preschool. This was their daily routine, walking the block to his preschool together, sometimes with her brother in tow, after she heads toward her job at a local bakery.
Abby rounded the corner only to walk into someone. Grunting she stumbled backward thankfully catching herself before she landed on her butt. ”I’m super sorry! I wasn’t paying attention at all.” The woman said with a grin before turning away from the broad chest in front of her, who’s face she still hadn’t look at due to a more pressing matter. Her eyes scanned the surrounding area panic beginning to set in. If something happened to him, she wasn’t quite sure if she could pick herself up again for a second time. Abby still knew she would never be over Rhett’s death; after all she was still in the anger stage.
Finally seeing JJ’s face pressed against a glass window looking into a toy store she breathed a sigh of relief. This child would cause her to get wrinkles but if they were mostly laugh lines she would be more than happy to receive them. Walking over to him she placed a hand on his head standing behind him, bending forward she pressed a kissed to the child’s dirty blond head. ”What are you looking at honey?” Abigail asked kneeling so her eyes were the same height as her son’s. “New action figure, it’s super awesome. Can I get it for my birthday?” Abby laughed softly as she stood, ”I’ll think about it sweetheart, let’s go we’re going to be late.” JJ stuck out his bottom lip, despite his hair color and nose being more like his father’s he had definitely inherited Abby’s pouty look. “Why not? Why?” Oh no the questioning stage again. Abigail rolled her eyes trying to think of a suitable reason why not twisting her engagement ring that rested on its usual place, ring finger on her right hand. Although that usually caused another round of whys all over again from him.
