The Heart Brings You Back ((Lance&Rachel))

Rach did her makeup, put on her favourite tiffany jewerelly as well as the necklace lance had given her, and put some things in a small black purse. She came back down and walked into the living room where he was.
"I'm ready" she announced going over to him. She gave him the once-over and smiled. "You look nice" she said.

Lance stood up finishing the buttons on his shirt, "As do you sexy." He said smirking as he walked over to her and took her hand and twirled her as he looked her up and down. He smiled as he noticed the necklace she was wearing. He brushed his fingers over it lightly before letting his eyes look over hers.

Rach smiled as she looked into his eyes. "Thanks, and just so you know i love this necklace, i wear it all the time" she said as she saw him look at it. She swung their intertwined hands back and forth. She stood up on her tip-toes and gave him a soft kiss.

Lance smiled and kissed her back simply. "Well now I want to show you off to the world." He said as he kept his hands in hers and started to head for the door. He was happy she liked the necklace so much because he always wore the bracelet she had given him.

Rach smiled as they went to the door, she locked it after they left and headed outside. She held onto his hand and held her purse in the other hand. "Who's car shall we take?" she asked, not really caring.

He shrugged his shoulders, "I'll drive us." He said smiling as he walked over to his car and opened her door for her.

Rach smiled as he held open her door. "How gentlemanish of you, thanks" she said as she got inside and buckled up. "So club adrenaline?" she questioned, hoping there would be a good crowd there tonight and people she knew, though being with Lance was enough for her. "Oh by the way, i talked to Abby about going on a double date with her and Sam, what do you think?" she asked, she really wanted to.

He smiled, "Anything for you baby." Lance said as if it was obvious. Lance then nodded, "Yup that's where we're heading to." Lance winked at her as he kept one hand on the steering wheel. He shrugged his shoulders lightly at the idea, "Umm sure I don't really mind."

"Great, i'll call her tomorrow and set something up.. you're going to love her, she's also from Chicago, so you guys will have something to talk about, and Sam's great too.. he's kind of shy at first, but once you get to know him he opens up, and seriously the two of them together are like an ad for the perfect couple.. they're adorable.. almost as cute as us" she said looking over and smiling at him. She moved in a bit closer to him and put one hand on his knee as he drove.

Lance felt himself jump a bit as he felt her hand go to his knee. He didn't mind of course though because a smirk was now residing on his lips, "Yeah but no one could ever beat our cuteness." He said laughing lightly. He couldn't wait to meet the two though because finally he'd have a possible guy friend to hang out with and not get beat up for no reason and then a girl that was from his hometown so common interests would already be shared.

"That is true" Rach said smiling at him, she remembered when they were together in high school, everyone envied them and they were like the ultimate cute couple of the school. She looked up at him and smiled. She was excitied for the double date, her and Lance needed some couple friends, she hoped that it would work out between Abby & Sam. She was already friends with them, so she knew that wouldn't be a problem, she just hoped they would get along with Lance.

Lance pulled into the parkinglot and got out walking along to her side helping her out and locking his doors. Lance took her hand in his as they walked towards the club, "Ready to get your groove on?" He joked with a smirk.

"I'm always ready" she said with a smirk. She was wearing black stilettoes, so she hoped her feet would be okay, she normally ended up taking off her shoes halfway through the night. The line was really long, but she knew she could use the trick she always used. She was tight with the bouncer so they normally let her through. "Follow me" she said, taking Lance by the hand to the front of the line.
"Bob, how's my favourite bouncer doing?" Rach asked, leaning in to kiss both his checks, like normal.
"I'm good, might i say your looking especially lovely tonight" Bob said as he smiled at Rachel.
"Why thank you.. Bob this is my boyfriend Lance, Lance this is Bob, we've grown close over the years" she said with a smirk. He usually was working the nights her and the girls went out, so they would always talk to him and stuff, he was a nice guy, really tall, with dark hair.
"Hey man, nice to meet you" Bob said, extending his hand for Lance to shake.

Lance shook his hand and nodded staying quiet. He was a bit uneased about the kissing he knew it was innocent but he always over thought things. He saw she had connections and he felt as if she was showing off but Lance smirked and kept his arm around her waist as he kept her close to his side.

"Well anyways, have a good night" Bob said moving aside so they could go inside. Rach smiled and waved to him, as she held onto Lance's hand as they went in. "He's a nice guy, always let's us right in" she said explaining to Lance. "So, ready to dance?" she asked him as they weaved their way through the crowd of people.
