First Stop On Steph's Tour - (johnny)

"You are doing great," Johnny grinned, holding firmly onto Steph. "And you're the best looking person on a board here by far, and having great steeze is the most important part of skateboarding. Don't worry I won't let go." It was strange for Johnny to be interacting with a girl in such a friendly way. Johnny was used to manipulating all the girls he felt were worth his time with his velvet tongue. But Steph didn't seem like the type Johnny could manipulate, not that he felt inclined to try.

She glanced around the park as he pushed her across the pavement, her knees wobbling every now and again when she'd felt a slight curve underneath her, and noticed that at this moment she'd been the only girl on a board. "I would hope i'm the best looking on a board or I might have to start questioning your sexuality." She said giving him one big grin as she started to laugh. Things with this boy were simple, something that she had nothing of from any other person lately, so it was nice to just relax without having to worry about any drama coming from this.

"I know you won't," she said with a slight smirk as she tightened her grip, not enough to hurt him any, on his shoulders to make a point. "I won't let you, not until i'm ready which would be never, so yeah you're pretty much stuck here until we're done." She looked at the ground watching the pavement move slowly past her. Hey, it was actually somewhat fun, but that was probably because there was no chance that she could fall. That always made everything all better knowing there'd be no pain.

Johnny tightened his grip slightly on her waist, lifted her off the skateboard and on to the pavement. "You're a natural, really. But perhaps next lesson you can try to get a little speed." He laughed, glancing over at the crowd of girls who had been watching them closely. "Looks like you're the envy of the skatepark, must be my fantastic teaching skills. Probably should start charging for my lessons. Luckily you get a free trail." Johnny was smiling down at Steph, his hands still placed on her waist as if he was steadying her. He realized the fact, but lingered for a moment, before letting go.

"That was rather quick of a lesson, you better not be charging that much for something so little." She said with a smirk, and then couldn't help but let out a small giggle at her comment. Steph's mind had definitely been in the gutter, that'd been the problem since she grew up in a house full of men, but she quickly pulled herself back together to give him one of her signature grins letting him know she'd been having fun with him.

"I'm not used to being the envy around here, my domain is the soccer field, I feel all out of place hanging out here." She had to admit this had been the longest she'd ever stayed in the park, and they hadn't even been there that long. "So should I leave you be so you can try to impress some of them?" she said motioning towards the girls that had been sitting together. "Who knows, maybe one would be able to stand up on the board without needing to be held. Trust me, i'm not always that lame." she had to make sure he knew that she wasn't always that needy, she was usually quite strong and capable of doing things on her own, he had just put her out of her element at the park.

Johnny shook his head and scooped up his skateboard. "No way, my lessons are hot commodities. I only offer them to an exclusive elite, you should count yourself lucky. Anyways, those girls would probably be too concerned that they'd scuff up their shoes to try anything at all." He wandered over the bench a few feet away from them and sat down.

"So, is soccer all you do, or do actually attend classes in college?" Johnny joked as he bent over to fix his shoelace.

She walked beside him back to the bench sitting down and getting comfortable looking out at the people that had still been skating, some of them were quite good but she soon brought her attention back to the man she'd been hanging out with, she didn't want to seem that she was ignoring him or anything, she just never came down here so watching the skaters was something new for her as well. Sure, she'd seen them skate across the roads and such in town, but here it was as though they were in their own element and really let their skills shine for everyone to see. Well everyone that came to the park which meant that it was probably only meant for the skating group.

"Yeah," She said with a dramatic sigh before cracking a grin. "Have to maintain above a 3.3 gpa too so not only do I have to take the class, but I actually have to understand and be good at it." She said sarcastically to keep the joke going. She decided it'd be best to get serious right now and she watched him fiddle with the laces. "No real major though, guess i'm still deciding." She shrugged just somewhat knowing she'd have to make up her mind soon if she wanted to go for a degree in something.

"I wonder if I'll go to college," Johnny said, thinking aloud. College had never been a part of his 'life plan', but then again, Johnny had never had a life plan at all. Johnny rarely thought passed his next meal, but now that he was in this strange situation, maybe it was time to start thinking forward. "I guess I should just focus on actually finishing my senior year, it's taking me a little longer then it should." He laughed, putting his feet up on his skateboard and rolling it from side to side.

Steph looked over giving him a slight shrug as he seemed to ask himself that question, she had no idea what to tell him just then. She brought her attention down to his feet watching the board go back and forth, her eyes following it with each movement as though in a trance. She listened to the sounds of the park, the wheels scratching against the cement as the skaters past them, and she couldn't help but feel very tranquil at the moment. "I can see why you like this place so much," She said quietly letting her thoughts take over as she sat there beside him. "Never thought it could be so relaxing."

She broke her eye contact with the board to look up at him, a grin spreading across her face as she stood up to face him. "So you sick of me yet?" She asked giving him a somewhat goofy looking grin at this moment. "Or you want me to show you somewhere else?" She asked, hoping he'd pick the second out of the two. She was having a great time today, it was nice to just relax and hang out instead of having to deal with all the drama that usually surrounded her. "Or do you want to stick around here a little longer?" She asked getting a bit anxious, she had to be moving so she quickly turned from him to walk towards the pavement and turning herself around to go back to meet where he had been.
