"Zabien?" He asked trying to remember where he had heard that name before. He knew that he had met someone with that name, someone almost familiar looking, and that was when he remembered the man and his brother at City Hall that one night. "You mean you're trying to compare me to that prick?" He asked, the two had not made the best impression on Lucas. He shook his head wondering if he should just walk away from this, he had considered that to be an insult, but was still somewhat curious when she said he had looked like the man. "What?" He shook his head trying to remember that man Zabien, but his memories were still cloudy so he couldn't remember what he had looked like. "Must be some gorgeous fucker then." He said almost joking when she had said he'd looked just like him.
"Yeah, I thought so too." He said when she'd commented on his name. He had thought the name had fit him perfectly hence why he had choosen it in the first place. "I mean, it's a cool name." He said shaking his head knowing he'd formed the last sentence wrong, what the hell would she think of 'i thought so too'? That just seemed wrong considering that hadn't been his birth name. "I'm here alone because I can be. I don't got some stupid bitch wrapped on my arm so i'm free to fuck around with anything." He had hated dating, it seemed the women always wanted to try to 'change' him, and that just wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Plus when he hung out with girls they often had to try to break him from his habits, and even if he told them a thousand times to cut that shit out they never would.

Colorado to Hawaii must have been a big step for that family. The weather must have been hard to adapt too because wasn't Colorado one of those states that gets snow and rain and not very hot sunny days? He had no idea to be completely honest, he had not done too well in geography in school. All he knew were the major areas where the big dancing cities were located, but call him on another less-famous state for him and he'd be completely lost. He had to give a small chuckle to himself thinking that he probably couldn't even place it on the map if he'd tried. "That shouldn't matter. Normally if you go to enough events you're bound to catch on to the dance."
He watched as she started to move her body just a bit and then stopped quick laughing at herself. "No, that was good sort of." He teased but couldn't lie and tell her it'd been great. That was the one thing he'd be brutally honest about even if it would completly upset another person. He was lucky she had some movement though so that made it better. He motioned to a group of girls trying to dance and brought his attention back to her. "You're better then them, I can tell you that right now." He said with a grin looking over at the girl. "All you need is the right partner and you'll be dancing like a pro." [/blockquote]

She saw the girl too and laughed a little. The thing was she did not know who her right partner was. She looked at him, a smile on her face as she let her foot tap the beat. "Well, who is my right partner?" She had a smile on her face as she looked at him. It was funny as she thought about her family. Her grandfather had fallen in love with Hawaii. Her father had moved down when he was a teenager along, but left his brother with their Biological mother and fell in love with Hawaii. He went to visit his mother and fell in love with her mother, who had never been to Hawaii. They got married, had Autumn, and moved back to Hawaii, where Autumn grew up following a bounty hunter's footsteps, from surfing to hunting. "You show me how to dance, because I will probably fall flat on my face in this sand," She said to him with a smile as she looked at him.

"He could be anywhere," He said with a small smirk playing on his face as he looked at her. "Who knows, the right partner could be standing right infront of you." Of course he had been hinting at himself since he'd been standing right there, but when she told him he'd have to show her how to dance he started to get somewhat nervous. Dancing had not been on his agenda tonight, and he still wasn't sure if he was willing to put himself out there in a group of people he hadn't known. Back in LA he wouldn't think twice about dancing but around here he just couldn't bring himself to do it so soon.
"Maybe we should do that in a more-" He stopped talking and grabbed ahold of her arms pulling her towards him and out of the way of a drunken girl who was about to crash into her. When he had noticed the jerk that he'd given her he let go of her quick and brought his hands to his side, his twisted tea having fallen out of his hand when he'd grabbed for her. "Sorry, wanted to avoid the collision." He said pointing at the girl. "I was saying though, maybe we should do it in a somewhat more private place? Don't want to show any of these people up or anything, you know?" He had to throw that last little part in there as a joke, though of course if he wanted to he could make any of those people look as bad as he wanted them to. [/blockquote]

She felt him jerk her forward and her hands went up and landed on his chest. She looked back as the girl moved past them, drunker then drunk could get and she let out a sigh. She was grateful he had done something and then he let go and seemed a little embarrassed. She laughed when he said they should do it more private and had to agree, she did not like dancing in public or in a close cluster of people. "Agreed," She did not argue much unless it was something worth arguing about and since she was fine not drinking right now, she did not even head to the drinks first, just a little away from the crowd, where she stood and looked for him in the crowd. She had gotten his hit and laughed a little before she said anything. "If my partner is right in front of me, then you better start helping me," She laughed as she looked at him. The music was still loud on the outside of the group of clustered people, but she was not one for loud music and did not mind moving away just a little further.

Spencer was starting to feel uncomfortable at this scene as he looked around watching the people that seemed to be getting more drunk with each passing minute. He let out a soft sigh as he looked over at the girl standing before him and brought his attention further down to beach where it had been quieter and darker as it was away from the group. "Want to take a walk?" He asked curiously motioning down the beach towards the waterfront. He had loved walking at the waters edge back home getting to feel the waves crash against his leg with each small gust of wind. "I promise I won't try anything once we're alone." He let that last sentence out as somewhat of a tease, but knew that if in fact he had tried something she could beat him down and probably send him inches from death. [/blockquote]
