Ava let out a mock gasp. "Rachel Miles going backpacking? You mean backpacking as in a backpack and a five star hotel, right?" she joked, slightly surprised her friend would actually backpack Europe the way most did and stay in hostels. They weren't exactly romantic. Well, not for a honeymoon when you wanted to be alone.

Rachel laughed. "Of course! I'd never stay in a hostel.. eww! How could Lance and i possibly have sex while everyone was sitting there?.." she said with a smirk. The two had planned on backpacking but staying in nice hotels, it was a weird concept but Rach thought it would be fun.

"Of course, how could I be so stupid?" Ava teased. "And by backpack you mean your expensive Chanel bag your parents got your for your birthday, right?" she teased some more with a smirk. She couldn't see Rachel backpacking in true backpacker form. Oh well, though. It wasn't really honeymoon-esque. "It's okay, I was thinking more margs in Hawaii, myself...though in the dream I was in a bikini, which seems kind of out of the picture now." She laughed.

Rach laughed and nodded. "Yep, the Chanel bag is what i'll be bringing.. and the bikini thing might be a problem. I don't think they make maternity ones.." she said with a smile. "And don't worry you weren't being stupid.. i would definitely backpack the real way, if i wasn't such a wimp.." she said with a laugh. Rach definitely wasn't a strong girl, she could carry about a huge backpack for about two minutes before complaining of the pain.

"What yogalaties isn't keeping you fit enough?" Ava joked again, smirking at Rachel. She'd missed this..girl time. It really was a precious thing...especially since she felt like her life was surrounded by men most of the time. It was almost funny. She looked at her friend with a smile. "I missed you." she admitted, though perhaps it was also hormones talking. "New York will be so great."

Rach laughed. Yogalaties was her favourite way to keep fit, though she did also enjoy spinning. "I guess not.. i've just never been a very strong girl, it must be the size thing" she said with a smirk. Rach was only 5"3, and she had a small frame. Sometimes she wished she was stronger, at least she didn't really have to worry about that in her line of work. "Lance always makes fun of me.. he says i have the strength of a 10 year old" she said with a smirk.

Size, or well strength, wasn't exactly in Ava's favor either. At 5'5, she couldn't exactly say she was the most physically fit woman in the world, or anything. Sure, she got exercise by constantly running around doing things, but she hadn't been to the gym in ages or even gone for a simple run around town. She had to admit she felt a bit bad about it, but where was the time? "Well, he has a point...not that it's a bad thing." Ava replied with a smirk. "It just means that you can make him do all the heavy lifting."

Rach nodded as she laughed. "True that.. and i do" she said with a smirk. "He helped the movers alot when we moved to New York.. i felt kind of guilty just standing around" she said with a small smile. She loved Lance's ability to lift things, it came in handy, even with the small things, such as him getting the dishes from the top shelf.. the ones Rachel could never quite reach. "How's Jack, in the lifting department?" she asked with a smirk.

Ava couldn't help, but laugh at Rachel's question. "Lifting?" she questioned thinking about the other night when he'd carried her to bed. She couldn't help, but smile. "Yeah, he's great with lifting things." she said, laughing some more. "And so many other things. He's perfect."

Rach smiled at her friends response. "That's great! I'm glad you guys are happy" she said, smiling yet again at Ava. It was so nice to see her again, after all these months and the fact that she was so happy made it even better. She was glad they were catching up. "Have you found out the sex of the baby yet? Or is it too soon?" she asked, randomly thinking of the question. She secretly hoped Ava was having a girl, she didn't quite know why.

"Not yet." Ava replied, thinking that whatever the baby was she'd be happy, though for Jack's sake she hoped it was a girl. She didn't want him thinking about Adam, his son with Tory who'd died and who she knew Jack felt guilty over. "In another few months probably. Though I'm not sure if I want to know."

She smiled at Ava and felt her blackberry vibrating in her purse, she chose to ignore it. "So tell me, how was the wedding? The second one.. was it romantic and all?" she asked, curious. She still couldn't believe Ava hadn't told her about it, she was a little bit hurt by that fact.

"Um, well it was...spontaneous, that's for sure." Ava said thinking about it. In reality, they hadn't told anyone, so it wasn't just Rachel that was left out. "He'd just proposed at the park, by the swings..." she started, knowing Rachel wouldn't get the history and significance of it. "..and I suggest that we don't wait and plan this whole big wedding..Whenever we've waited things have always gone wrong for us and he agreed so we just started to drive and ended up at this small church on the edge of town."
