You Found Me (Blake and Becca)

"Okie dokie, drive-thru it is" He said as he pulled up to the speaker and looked at the menu even though he didn't need to because he already knew exactly what he wanted, he was just waiting for Becca to pick out what she wanted.

"Um...six taco supremes with extra cheese, a large chocolate shake and...." She paused to think. "An order of cheese fries..no! Nachos, definitely nachos." She smiled to herself then looked to Blake and shrugged a little. Yes, it was a lot of food, but she had a great metabolism. "I'm hungry..." she said as an excuse and let it go.

She waited while he ordered and looked out the window.

"Wow, what an appetite" Blake said with a laugh and a shake of his head "I've never met a girl like you that eats like that, impressive" He added with a grin before turning to the speaker box and ordering her food then his which happen to be the bacon and cheese gordita crunch, 2 quesadillas and some taquitos.

Becca waited while he ordered, making note of his choices. She had a theory about people and what they ate. Maybe he'd hear it sometime. They soon pulled up to the pick up window and she opened up her wallet, taking out a twenty for her share. She passed it to him, wondering if he'd expected to pay. It wasn't like it was a date or anything.

Blake looked at the money she was trying to hand him and shook his head "No I got it" He said as he pulled out his wallet and handed the money to the guy in the window, the guy asked what kind of sauce they wanted. Blake looked at Becca "Sauce?" He asked with a shrug, because he never got taco bell sauce.

"Um..." Becca thought about it, after putting her money away. She was about to object. "Pass." she finally said. In her opinion, the food was good without it. "Thanks." she said to Blake as they waited for the guy to get the food ready for them.

OOC: Hope this next part is okay...

While looking over at Blake, Becca couldn't help, but noticed something on his finger. He was married? Really? Well that just sucks.. "So what's she like?" Becca asked, curiously before sensing his confusion. "Your wife." she said, pointing to the ring. "What's she like?"

"No sauce" He said to the guy in the window, then he heard Becca's question. Blake looked down at his ring, having forgotten he was still wearing it. "Um well, ex-wife actually, as of a few days ago." He said with a shrug, still looking at his ring. "I guess I can take this off now considering im divorced now" He added as he slipped the ring off of his finger and placed it in a compartment in his truck then looked at the tanline it had left behind.

Then the taco bell guy had the food ready, catching Blake a bit off guard "Oh yeah" He said as he fumbled around a bit to get the bag of food. He put it in between him and Becca then pulled out from taco bell and headed to the beach.

Becca hadn't known what to say. Blake seemed disappointed, upset about it, so she chose to leave it. She didn't want to hurt him by bringing up old, or rather, new wounds, so she left it alone as they started to the beach. Still, every now and then she found her eyes gaze upon his ring. She couldn't believe he'd been married...was divorced. Was it true that young marriages never lasted? She hated to see such a nice guy become a statistic....

It was then, she had an idea. Time for Operation Cheer Up. Without even asking, she took control of his stereo, changing the radio to a station she knew from living in Pleasant. The station was all Swedish music for whatever reason and hilarious...even better when you tried to sing along...and thats what she did. The song was some rap song that she obviously didn't know, so the jibberish she was speaking was honestly funny...along with the dance moves.

Blake drove towards the beach, letting his mind dwell on his divorce as he drove. Then he heard Becca start changing the station and attempting to sing along to the swedish station. Blake couldn't stay serious now and instantly busted out laughing. "Wow, you're very unique Becca" He said while laughing as he looked at her.

Becca paused the singing for a bit and smiled, laughing as well. "Thank you." she said, doing a mock bow, which was pretty hard with a seat belt on, but fitting nonetheless. "All I can do is try, right?" She smirked. To her, being unique was never a bad thing. She loved standing out, enjoying life to its full potential. She was like Penny Lane in Almost Famous or something. She was free.

"You should try it sometime." she said to him, catching his eye for a moment before he turned back to the road. "Singing to crazy swedish rap, taking up a new hobby, whatever works. " She could see the sadness in his eyes and could tell that he'd really loved her, whoever she was. "So how far is this beach of yours?" she added in a lighter mood, grinning as she turned the radio up a bit, covering any potential silence and just to keep them laughing.

Blake laughed again when she said he should try it. "No thankyou, I think if I tried I would end up biting my tongue really hard or something" He said as he shook his head. "And we're not too far from the beach" He added as they got closer to there destination. Blake looked at Becca again and smiled, for some reason she was able to make him smile and no one had been able to do that lately.

"It's definitely possible.." Becca agreed. "But you could have a lot of fun too..and end up perfectly fine." She shrugged before smiling a little as they passed a sign that read Point Pleasant Public Beach. Finally, her favorite place it town. She smiled to herself, rolling down her window and smelling the fresh sea air. Yum.

Blake parked in the beach parking lot, turned off his truck, walked to the other side and opened the door for Becca with a smile on his face. "And here we are" He said as he reached over her and grabbed his mountain dew and the bag of food.

Becca watched him open the door and smiled. "Thanks." she said to him as she got out and looked around at the sandy beach in front of them. Realizing she'd forgotten her drink, she reached inside the truck and got in, then let him shut the door as she started down the pathway she'd walked so many times. "You coming?" she teased, smirking a little since he was trailing behind. She stood, waiting for him to catch up.

Blake smirked back at Becca as he caught up with her and walked down the trail with her. "So, you got a boyfriend back home?" He asked her, just making conversation as they made there way down to the beach.
