"Stop, i'm fine..." Emilee whispered, as her hands rested slightly angled on Brett's back. At this moment, they had been laying on his bed for about an hour now, trying to be intimate. They had just gotten into a fight that resulted in Emilee crying because it upset her, so Brett calmed her down by quitting the yelling, walking over to her, and kissing her right there. This immidently calmed Emilee down as she let her tension quickly relieve itself, and they soon found themselves in his bedroom, under the blankets. Emilee knew this wasn't the correct way to solve their problems, but after they fought, Emilee just thought it was sweet in someway that he would stop what he was doing and kiss her right then and there. One of the qualities she loved in her significant other, she meant a lot to him, and she was able to tell, just by looking at him. Looking up to assure him, Emilee's lips formed into a slight smile, and she bit lightly down on her bottom lip, staring at his eyes as he finally did what she was waiting for this entire night. Slowly, her breathing increased until it was heavy, and she dug her nails into his back, letting out a sound that resembled his name...
Emilee's eyes shot open as she looked around, realizing that she was laying in her bed. She looked around for a few seconds, before looking to the other side of her queen sized bed. Brett wasn't there. It must have meant he had to go home for some reason, instead of spending the night with her. It was okay though, because Emilee was trying to avoid telling him that she took a pregnancy test about a week ago, and that it was positive. Since she took the test, she'd been having vivid flashbacks in her dreams about the night that she and Brett could have concieved the baby that may be growing inside her right now. Sitting up slowly, Emilee let out a sigh as she calmed herself down. She could feel herself aching, and it annoyed her. She reached over and grabbed her phone, pressing a few buttons, before seeing that Brett had texted her. coming over in an hour...good? Emilee shrugged to herself, pulling up an empty text to her boyfriend.
good...i'm awake, see you then Emilee texted back to her lover, before putting the phone back down on her bedside table. Pulling the covers from over her, she climbed out of the bed and turned around. A few minutes later, Emilee's bed was now made, and she was at her closet. After a few minutes of pondering, she took out a pair of jean shorts, a long grey shirt, and a pair of socks. Figuring she needed a shower after that stupid dream she had, Emilee walked to the bathroom connected to her bedroom, and closed the door behind her. Emilee usually had a habit of taking really long showers when she was stressed out, and though this was one of those times that she was stressed, she couldn't take a long shower because Brett was coming over, and she wanted to be ready when he arrived. About fifteen minutes passed, and Emilee was out, her blonde hair blow-dried and brushed, left down over her shoulders.
Clipping her bra on, and sliding a pair of underwear on, Emilee took her hair in her hands and ran her fingers through it, letting out a sigh. She didn't feel good today, and she didn't know...It made her feel that maybe she could really be pregnant. She didn't want to be pregnant, but she didn't really want to dwell on the fact that she could be. Emilee slid on the pair of jean shorts she got from her closet, before sitting down on the toilet, putting her socks on her feet. She had a weird habit of putting her shirt on last, it was weird. She figured she picked it up from her mother or someone else in her family, but it was a stupid thing to do in her eyes. Reaching over for her grey shirt, Emilee pulled it over her head and was now ready to wait for her significant other, downstairs in her lonely outcast of a living room. For a final time, she ran her fingers through her hair, and put the towels that she used, along with her pajama's from last night, in the hamper that was in the corner of the room.
As Emilee looked at herself in the mirror, she began to fall into a bit of a daze. Wow, she really didn't want to be pregnant, but if she was, she would have to deal with it. Then again, she and Brett were really sexually active...But, they always used protection. Sure, they talked about kids someday, but it kind of weirded Emilee out because they had only been together for a year and a half, almost two years. Granted, this has been the best year and a half of Emilee's life, she just kind of thinks that a child wouldn't be the best thing for them right now. Letting out a small breath, Emilee's gaze at the mirror broke, and after she cleaned up, she left the bathroom, and went back into her bedroom. She put her hairbrush down on the dresser, and left her bedroom, closing the door behind her. She walked down the stairs slowly, just in time to hear her doorbell ring. No doubt, she couldn't help but smile. She loved her boyfriend, and anytime he was there to see her, Emilee's world lit up.
Giggling slightly, Emilee walked over to the front door, and opened it. The smile stayed on her lips and probably became bigger when she saw Brett's figure at the door, and she opened the door wide enough so he could walk in. Once he did so, Emilee closed the door behind him, and turned to look at him. She walked closer to him and opened her arms, welcoming him into her embrace. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her chin on his shoulder for a few seconds, running her hands over his back. "Hi, Baby..." She whispered, her words flowing freely, wanting to make him happy. She looked up at him and laced her fingers together on the small of his back, keeping a gaze at his eyes. She leaned up a little, kissing his lips lightly, before pulling away just enough to keep him wanting more. "How was your night last night? I missed you, since you didn't want to spend the night with me," She said, playfully. She always messes around with him like that, and though he was the type of person to get mad at remarks like that, with her, she knew that those remarks were alright to say, because he knew she was joking. She loved that she could be playful with him...She loved him, period, and could only hope that he returned the favor.

Brett stood up pulling his head out from underneath the hood as he grabbed for a rag to clean up his hands blacked by oil and other slime in the engine. His old mustang was slowly but surely getting put back together, and tonight he had decided that he'd put some time on fixing up a few leaky seals near the engine. He groaned as he grabbed his beer and took a gulp resting it back on the bench beside him as he ran his mucky hands through his hair unsure of what his next step should be. He knew he could work on some more of the car, but then again everything else that needed to be done would take some time and effort and he didn't feel like getting into it right now.
He shut the hood of the car and turned the garage lights off as he stepped outside and locked the door behind him, and with that he walked around to the main door to the house and stepped in. He heard his phone chiming as he walked over and looked at the caller ID, some unknown phone number so he didn't even bother, and instead of touching anything around his place he went straight to the bathroom to clean himself up. He pulled off his clothes and threw them in the basket in the corner, and soon he turned on and stepped into the shower to clean himself up nice and good. It took a while getting the grease off of his hands, but after a lot of scrubbing he felt he'd done a good enough job as he washed his hair along with the rest of his body.
He stepped out of the shower and dried himself off before tying the towel around his waist as he walked through the hall and into his bedroom. He stopped near one of the mirrors around and scratched at the stubble on his chin content with how it looked. He rummaged through his dressers until he pulled out a simple solid black shirt, and to accompany he threw on a pair of jeans. He laughed when people used to call him a greaser from the way he looked. He ran back downstairs and grabbed his phone noticing that that caller hadn't left a message, but since he had his phone in his hand he didn't think it would hurt to give his girlfriend a text.
He typed one out and sent it as he placed the phone back on the table and walked into the kitchen to get something to drink, and after looking through everything that'd been in there he opted for another beer, so after pulling the glass bottle from it's sleeve he opened it tossing the cap into the trash. He took a swig as he leaned against the counter looking around at the empty kitchen wishing he'd had something to do, or someone if he'd been referring to Emilee of course. He sighed running his hand through his hair as his car came back up into his mind, and as he thought about all the money he'd have to put into it he found himself getting upset. He had known when he bought the beat up mustang that it'd take a lot to restore it, but as he dumped a good amount in his car already he couldn't believe he still hadn't seen any end in sight.
Hearing his phone finally chiming in the other room he walked over and picked it up as he read the message, and immediately a grin fell on his face as he went back upstairs and dabbed some of his cologne on as he made himself presentable before heading back downstairs. He stopped by the door and stuffed his wallet into his back pocket, and after he'd grabbed his keys and phone he walked outside and locked the door behind him. He walked over to his car, the one that wasn't on blocks that he drove until he could fully restore that mustang of his, and with that he turned the beast on and put it in gear as he backed out of his driveway, and after shifting into first he puttered forward before cracking on the gas and speeding off as he shifted into each appropriate gear.
He had to make a pit stop before he went to her house though, and that had been to the liquor store as he pulled up outfront and took the key out of the ignition as he stepped out and strutted into the store. He heard his name from behind the register and grinned giving the old man a wave as he went to get the twelve pack that he'd bring to Emilee's house to throw back. "What you doing here old man, I thought this was your night off?" He laughed as he pulled the drinks on the counter and grabbed for his wallet. "Gotta make the money somehow to pay the hookers right?" The old man laughed as he brought up their on-going joke as he rang him in. "You're running low on these in the back, only about two more after this case, I could have cleaned you right out but figured i'd be nice tonight, didn't want you throwing out your back having to bend over to restock them you know."
He laughed giving the old man the usual amount of money, and of course for the hard time he gave him he slipped in another ten for just him, and as he waved a good bye he grabbed his beer and walked out the door. He tossed it in the passenger seat as he started his vehicle again and made his way to her house with some time to spare. He jumped out of his car and grabbed the case as he made his way up her stairs and rang the bell for her to hear. He rolled back and forth on the balls of his feet as he could hear movement from behind the door, and as soon as she answered and said hello his free hand slipped around her waist pulling her close to him in an embrace, his lips plucking against hers for a quick kiss before she continued to speak. He laughed hearing her playful remark as he shrugged sliding around her and taking his sneakers off as he pushed them to the side with his feet and started towards her fridge.
"Last night, let me see, I brought a couple hookers home and the entire night we spent rolling around in the sheets, and then after that I think I brought a stripper into the back of my mustang for another quick shag, so yeah I guess you could say I had a good night," he smirked looking over his shoulder at her, of course that entire thing being a joke as he'd never cheat on her like that. "Nah, I would have came over last night but I started messing with the mustang and lost track of time, and then, well you know how I can get with that car. I'm here now though, so forgive me?" He pouted out his bottom lip as he slipped the case into the fridge and stood back up walking to meet her where she'd been, both hands slipping around her sides as he grabbed hold of her hips pulling her closer, "and I guess that just means we need to make up for all that time we lost last night right?"
NOTES. I wanted to get a post up tonight but I know it's not pretty or anything, if you'd like I can do something tomorrow but it's late and i'm tired so yeah D: hope this is a good first post from brett!

As soon as Emilee opened the door, the smile on her face was just building up, because she could honestly feel it. When the words escaped her mouth to greet him, she let out a satisfied breath when his free hand wrapped around her. Emilee loved the way her lover felt. This was new for her, considering she hadn't had many boyfriends, or hook-ups, whatever you want to call them. She had never had a stedy boyfriend for more than just a few weeks, and being with Brett, she really feels like she's at a good place in her life right now. Suddenly, she felt his lips against hers, and she melted into him, as she kissed him back. After he broke their moment, she continued to speak, waiting for his reply. Until he did so, she just kept her loving gaze on him, the thought of why he was so good to her lingering in her mind.
When she saw him, the feelings inside her were just lighting up with fire. She never understood why he made her feel like that, but she loved the feelings he gave her. He always knew how to make her feel, how to make her laugh, how to cheer her up when she was upset about something, it was really anything that he knew how to do. Everything he did for her made her smile, and reflect on how lucky she is to have a guy like him. He was attractive, sweet, and just an overrall bad boy on the outside. A lot of girls wanted a guy like that, and she knew she got him, so she had nothing to worry about, because she knew he was faithful. Emilee never thought about him cheating, or even questioned it when he ever came in late when he said he'd be there in a few hours to see her. That's why, when he made the joke, she laughed.
"Shut up, that's not funny," She stated, playfully, after they shared their small kiss and broke from their loving embrace. Her gaze followed his movement as he took his shoes off, like he lived in her place, though he hadn't yet. He knew where everything was and he was always around to help her out, it was already like he was living with her. Though, Emilee thinks that would be fun, she wouldn't want to spring something like that on him, since they had only been dating for a little over a year and a half. "You know the only good time you'll have 'rolling in the sheets'..." She said, making quotations with her fingers, to mock him, at the same time she still had that playful smirk on her face."Is with me, so nice tryyyy," She finished her statement, sticking her tongue out him, followed by a giggle when he began to talk about his car, and the reason why he didn't come to spend the night with her last night.
Honestly, she loved how he could be so soft and sweet with her, but then still maintain that bad boy image on the outside. Guys like that had her drawn. She was never brought up like that, nor did she know why guys with tattoo's and attitude's had her attention. There was something different about Brett, it was weird. Her mom had always told her to go after guys that looked nice and clean, and would treat a girl right. Emilee was always known to go after guys like that, but something clicked in her when she met Brett. Each time she looked back on that night, she couldn't help but smile. The memory was just so fresh in her mind, and it was something she couldn't forget. She knew she loved him, but the stronger feelings were catching up with her, it was again time for her to contemplate if she was in love with him.
Emilee was around, mixing and mingling with all of her modeling friends at this event she was invited to. She had a glass of wine in her hand, and mind you, this was her second glass. She sipped it lightly, and turned, when she heard the source of entertainment stop. She locked eyes with the lead singer, who had a guitar in his hand, and when he smiled at her, she smiled back. He was gorgeous in her eyes. She bit her lip lightly and giggled, looking away, only to have him be in front of her a few minutes later. "Emilee," She said, holding out her hand. He returned the favor, and recited his name as 'Brett'. Emilee nodded, and looked around for a few seconds, before looking back at him, who seemed like he had never broken his gaze on her. "Wow...You're gorgeous," She heard him say, the smile on her face becoming wider, out of words. The only words were "Aw, you're so sweet, thank you..." By the end of the night, they were flirting up a storm.
Shrugging, Emilee nodded her head when he mentioned how he was with the beat up mustang that he was attempting and trying to fix. She watched him put the case of beer in the fridge, and she giggled, shaking her head. He always had some type of alchohal when he came to see her, but she didn't have a problem with it. To them, they could get drunk together and still have a great time together. They would cuddle on the couch or in bed, and just laugh together about stupid things that have happened in the past. In Emilee's opinion, it made their relationship stronger. As a reflex to him wrapping his arms around her, Emilee giggled as she wrapped her arms around his neck, only to be pulled closer to him. She loved this feelings, being so close to him. "Yes, that means we can make for that lost time," She said, playfully, kissing his jawline lightly, before looking at him. "You know...If you waaant tooo...." She teased, pushing into him a little.

As his lips left hers he had wished to pull her right back in, pick her up as he'd hope she wrapped her legs around his waist, and he'd carry her to the nearest resting spot to have his way with her, but he had to behave himself since he'd just came around so he couldn't jump the gun. He knew it'd be happening at some point tonight, their relationship being very sexual, so he could relax and keep those jets of his cool for the timebeing. When he joked with her he expected one of two things, the first being she'd just laugh it off and ignore him or secondly she'd hit him on the shoulder or something, so when he heard her laugh and dismiss he smirked. "Who said I was trying to be funny?" He wiggled his eyebrows playing around with her before winking and leaning down to help with his shoes.
A single eyebrow crept up as he watched the air quotes, his head just shaking at how lame that had been, but otherwise she was absolutely adorable as he listened to her opinion. "Rolling in the sheets isn't the only place I have fun with you, how about against the wall, backseat of the car, patio chair, and uh that blanket on the beach?" He tried to list off a few of the places their sexcapades had gone, and with such an attraction and lust for one another over the past year he could list off quite a few places the two had messed around. It seemed at one point their clothes had been off longer than on in a day, but as a typical male it wasn't like he'd been complaining about it at all. Sticking out her tongue at him was the icing on the cake in his opinion, "you better save all your energy, you'll be using that later." He brought his finger up and pointed at her tongue, a devious smile coming to his face.
He knew that if he did not put the beer in the fridge now it'd never get there, especially since he could feel himself already being drawn to her as the intensity of her body language seemed to increase, so he retreated towards the kitchen thankful that he could still at least hear her if she said something. He opened the case and pulled one out for himself as he lifted it above the door so she could see, "thirsty?" He always offered her one, it being the polite thing to do, and also he'd been extremely grateful that she never seemed to mind his need to drink. He never became violent towards her while drinking, if anything he became just an idiot, but the two always seemed to have fun even while drinking. It did not mean that he couldn't stick by her side sober though, quite the opposite as he quite enjoyed her company out and about without a single drink, but after a night of working on a car he just wanted that alcohol in his system.
He shut the fridge door unsure of what her answer had been so he brought the second just for the hell of it as he found her in the dining room once more as he placed the drinks on the table as he walked over, his hands slinking around her body easily as her thin frame came to rest against his. He heard her suggestion followed by the feeling of her body rocking against his, his eyes shutting with the kisses on his jawline as he could already feel his temperature starting to rise, but not wanting to play into her that easily he pulled away and cracked open the beer he'd brought. "What, you don't want to play a game of checkers or something instead?" He chuckled throwing out the first game that came to mind, though he had never been a good player when it came to checkers and used to always lose, but still for the sake of arguement it was a good option. "Or we could-" he looked around before resting his sights back on her, him taking a long swig before putting the drink on the table and taking a step closer to her.
"You wouldn't want a kiss a drinker would you, rank beer breathe and all," he cupped his hand over his mouth and breathed into it though the beer hadn't been strong at all and was barely noticeable. He took another step closer to her as he'd actually gotten close enough to manipulate her body to step back with each forward march he took. When he came close enough to the wall his palm pulled up to rest on it as he saw her jolt just slightly as her back hit the wall and his other palm came to rest on the other side of her, his lips coming to rest on her neck as he smirked against her skin. "Maybe we could play a game of clue," one of his hands slipped through her golden locks tracing itself down her arm slipping to her hip and situating itself there. "I accuse Brett with the rope in the bedroom," he chuckled as his voice was low and rough as he kissed down along her neck remembering that part of the game, and he was sure one of the weapons had been the rope so it worked out.
His other hand slipped down her body situating it on her other hip as his hands bunched up what fabric was free flowing against her body. "That offer still available, making up for lost time?" He smirked picking his lips up and moving them to press against hers before pulling away. "I don't think you'd be able to handle me tonight though with this whole twenty four hour break, i'm an animal when I go too long without it ya know." He teased nipping at her neck letting a low groan pull from his stomach, obviously turned on as he wanted nothing but to devour this woman infront of him.

She felt so sensual and safe around Brett, and his kisses just topped it off. After they shared the kiss, her hormones were flying, but she was attempting to stay calm because of the fact that what she wanted would be happening at some point tonight. She breathed easily, but could feel herself aching for him, and that made her anxious. Emilee had never been like this around anyone else, it was just a quality about him that drew her to give him all the attention that she could. Though, when he joked with her, granted, she didn't like it, but was too in the moment right now to do anything but laugh at him. "Oh, please, you always do that, and I know you're always trying to be funny," Emilee said, with a small laugh, as she watched him move his shoes aside, and she made her way over to the couch, straightening out the pillows that laid across it.
Her hands played across her hips and she giggled as she finished mimicking him. She knew he loved it because he didn't say anything, but she always knew that she was just trying to be cute, and it always worked and paid off. Finishing her opinion, she gasped playfully and laughed, as she listened to him list off quite a few places where they had resorted to fooling around with each other, and it just made her giggle even more than she had before. Shaking her head, she shrugged, letting out one more giggle. They were so attracted to each other and it just felt like a force sometimes that was making them want to be intimate with each other all the time. Emilee liked it, but though, some of those places could have gotten them in a lot of trouble. She was surprised with how active they were, that she hadn't gotten herself into a predicament with him.
"Oh, I am? Who says?" Emilee asked playfully, when he questioned her about using her tongue later. She had usually always played around with him when he made sexual references like that, it was funny in her opinion. "Yes, I am thirsty, but i'll drink water, not beer." She replied. At this point, when the beer came up, Emilee had remembered what she had taken over a week ago, and if it was honestly true, she couldn't drink alchohal. As soon as drinking came up, all the hormones she had raging about wanting to have sex with him later, began to fade, because the thought of a baby possibly growing inside her, scared her, and she would want to be positive of what was going on, before she and Brett actually continued being so active. She hadn't gone to the doctors yet, so she was unsure, and she knew that Brett would put two and two together at some point.
Watching him bring two beers over made her stomach churn at that point, and she attempted to get his mind away from drinking by making the intimate gesteres towards him. "I don't care about your breath, it's fine." She said, with a small laugh. Though, that might have been a little bit of a lie. It wasn't that bad, but the small scent she got when she felt his breath across her lips again, made her stomach churn. Tingles ran down her body as his hands roamed around her small figure, causing her to shiver lightly and press into him a little more. "We should talk..." She whispered, not meaning to ignore his idea of the game of clue, the offer about lost time, and if she could handle him later on tonight. She shook her head lightly, lifting herself a little so his lips would leave her neck. Now, they were face to face, and their gaze was on each other.
Feelings of regret soon began to form inside of her, scared of what she was about to tell him. She knew he was the type of guy that liked to be intimate, that liked to have fun without feeling tied down. Granted, so did she, but they were really active, and this was bound to happen at some point, even if this was the first time they hadn't used protection. So many things ran through her mind. Was he going to leave her? Would he yell at her? Would he blame her for something he did? Would he be mad because they just didn't use protection that night? Emilee shook her head in the middle of her thoughts and snapped out of it, before looking at her boyfriend, who's eyes were just searching hers for answers.
Emilee could see the pain in his eyes. This talk wasn't her leaving him, and maybe that's what he thought it was. She smiled slightly to assure him that wasn't the reason, and she kissed his cheek to assure him once more. Pulling back and returning the gaze that he had on her eyes made her wonder again. She had such a great man in front of her and didn't want to give him up, but potentially, she felt this could make or break their relationship. Figuring the stress couldn't have been good on her, she decided to just let it out. "Um..." Emilee started, as her voice cracked, and tears began to fill up in her eyes. "...I started getting sick a few weeks ago, after that night we got in a fight, and then made love afterwards..."
Piecing her sentances together slowly, Emilee wanted to make sure this all came out right. "...So, I...I took a pregnancy test," She stated, at this point, the tears began to slide down her cheeks, as a result of being scared of what he would say or do. "And...It was positive...I...I think i'm pregnant..." Emilee finally finished what she had been waiting to get out to him for the past couple of weeks, and now, a slight sob had escaped from her mouth. She was so scared because of the fact that she really could be pregnant, and also because of what he would say to her because he had just recieved such life changing news.
It was hard for her to maintain a stedy flow of emotions right now because of how her mind worked, so she just looked at him, waiting for his reply. All of this growing up with such a messed up mind and messed up emotions, really screwed with her just emotionally period. She was so happy when he first got her to see her, and now she was completely broken down, afraid of losing him because of what she had been hiding for the past couple of weeks. He wasn't saying anything, and right now, she kind of wanted to take it as a bad sign of what was going to happen between them, but she was going to give him time because she knew had to have been hard for someone that liked to party as much as he did, and she also knew that this had to have some effect on who he was completely.

He loved how she could tell right when he was joking, and that is actually one of the biggest reasons he could say things like that around her, because she knew they were only a joke in the end. She would not flip out and holler at him thinking that he was cheating on her, and that trust was one of the biggest selling points in this relationship. He was so enthralled with this woman, she was unlike any he had ever been with, and to have her so casual and laid back with him was just something he treasured. "I should quit my day job and become a comedian, tour the country with sold out shows, my name up in lights on the strip in Vegas, but don't worry doll, I won't leave you behind. I gotta show the world that even the geek can get the beauty," he smirked leaning in as he pressed his body to hers, a sensual kiss springing from his lips to hers under his warm embrace.
Another thing he loved about her had been the playful banter back and forth. Both of them knew exactly what the other would say, and usually conversations were easy between them because they seemed to have an unspoken advantage. His joke about her tongue got a small rise out of her, that playful question forming as he cocked an eyebrow staring at her as if she were a circus side show act, "did you not just hear me two seconds ago? I'm pretty sure I said, and what I say goes because i'm the man, Stan," he teased right back picking a finger up and tapping the top of her nose. He could not help but laugh knowing that it'd been entirely lame of him to do, but he just couldn't help himself and around her he seemed gentle and awkward at best. She at least had thought it was cute so that was a good thing right? "But if you insist I guess you could use your hand." His grin was apparant letting her know he was doing nothing more than teasing her, something he was rather good at and found himself doing so frequent.
He had to break from her or else he'd never get the beer to the fridge, so as he split he made his way to the fridge to put his stuff in there and grab two. He hadn't heard her answer until he'd been almost halfway back to where she'd been standing, so when she said no he cocked another curious brow though thought nothing of it as he instead just put the extra drink on the table. If anything that just meant that he could be lazy when he wanted his second, "I guess i'll be drinking for the both of us tonight." He smirked making it sound like he'd become a lush, but in reality the longer the two spent together he would think less and less about that beverage in the fridge. He took another swig of his drink before putting that down as well so he could give her his full attention, of course something feeling off in her mannerisms, but he couldn't put his finger on it so hadn't felt the need to make assumptions.
Of course he knew she wouldn't care about his breathe, and thankfully it hadn't been that bad considering the alcohol hadn't been too strong, but still he knew it did have that scent of the booze on it still. "Guess I should have bought some gum or something when I stopped at the store," he chuckled as he nuzzled his chin against her neck as his lips placed gentle kisses along her collarbone, her scent driving him wild as he'd always been a fan of her perfume. He had been getting entirely too into what was happening, so as she told him they had to talk his hands stopped mid-travel on her hips as he picked his head up to look at her. "Why so serious all of a sudden?" He had no idea what had just happened, the complete one eighty personality had caught her off-guard, but she needed to talk to him and that meant he needed to listen. "This isn't one of those i'm breaking up with you conversations is it, 'cause you know I thought things were going pretty good, if you know what I mean." He tried to lighten the subject but could tell something big was weighing on her mind.
He could tell that she'd been distant from them now as he brushed his thumb against her cheek trying to bring her back to the present. "Don't just leave me hanging here beautiful, what's on that mind of yours?" He whispered, his lips brushing a kiss on her forehead as he pulled her in for a quick hug, but distancing himself once more he hoped that'd been enough to get her to squeal out whatever had been on her mind. Hearing the hesitation at first had not been a good thing, apparantly whatever she had to tell him was pretty big, but he was still fairly clueless as he just stared at her waiting for her to finish her thoughts. He could see the tears and knew it had to be something bad, why else would she be crying, so as her emotions got the best of her his eyes couldn't help but widen in despair that something had hurt this woman and there was nothing he could do yet to remedy the situation. "Honey it's alright, we all get the flu at sometime or another, you weren't contagious, i'm not sick, don't be sad."
He was absolutely clueless when it came to what she had been telling him, but that's because he'd never been put in this situation before so it was all new. His eyes closed tightly when she brought up the pregnancy test, and of course her saying she'd gotten sick started making more sense as he stood there silently listening to her, his eyelids still locked. As she said she thought she'd been pregnant he could feel his heart leap into his throat as so many emotions swamped him. He took a deep breathe not sure what he should say or do, but staying silent and reserved like this probably was not the best solution, so he slowly opened both of his eyes as he looked at her for the first time after her admitting that. "Preg-nant?" His voice cracked some as he nervously said the word, his eyes dropping from hers to her stomach that could be holding his child, "Like baby pregnant?" Brett was not usually this dumb, but when it came to this he was just clueless for some reason. He could not believe what was happening.
He looked back up at her face as he could see the stream of tears that were running down her face, and he instantly felt bad as he pulled her in for a hug letting her head rest against his shoulder. He moved his shoulder some hoping to sop up some of the tears that had stained those beautiful cheeks of hers, and as he did so he brought his hands up to embrace her tightly, one of his hands running through those golden locks of hers. "Don't cry, there's nothing to be sad about, beautiful." He whispered trying to console her though he had no idea how he should do it. He's never been in this situation before so his reactions were shit. "Hey, cheer up, look at me." He pushed her head up with his shoulder some so he could rest his hands on her shoulders looking her dead in the eyes, "you could have my baby inside of you right now, a little Donohue brewing in that oven of yours, that's not something to be sad about, darling." His hand slipped down to her stomach as he tucked it under her shirt to feel her soft skin. "I couldn't think of a better woman more deserving of carrying my baby."

Emilee couldn't help but laugh when Brett began talking about how he should quit his day job, causing her to shake her head lightly, only to be followed by another giggle. Her arms wrapped around his neck as his warm body pressed into hers, and she let out a small breath, just looking at him for a few seconds. For this last year and a half, she really couldn't believe how much of an interest she had taken in Brett. She hasn't really had lasting relationships in her lifetime, and now that she's found someone like Brett, she wants what they have going right now to last for a while. She loves him too much to let him go, or to let someone even try and take him away from her. It just wasn't happening, and if something like that was to happen, her bitch side was for sure to come out.
She rarely let that side of her come out, though. Only if she got really, really mad at something, and it really never happened. Brett hasn't even seen that side of her a lot, and they've been dating for quite a while. When Emilee saw Brett cock an eyebrow at her, another laugh came from inside of her, causing her to lean in, kissing his cheek lightly. She giggled when he tapped her nose with his finger, causing her nose to crinkle up for a few seconds. She looked at him as he continued talking, only to gasp at what he said. "Shut up, the chances of us playing later are becoming slim, with every little comment you're making," She said. Of course, she was only playing, apparent by the small smirk that followed after her statement.
He broke from her seconds later, and Emilee's eyes followed him to the fridge, causing her to sigh to herself as she walked her small frame over to the couch, sitting down. Looking up, Emilee heard Brett say he'd be drinking for the both of them tonight. She shrugged at that, and her mind began to fill up with thoughts of how drunk he could actually get and how quickly the night could turn into a mess, especially with the news she had to tell him. It wasn't that he had ever became abusive towards her when he drank a lot, Emilee just liked it better when he was sober. Though, he became much like a babbling idiot when he was drunk, Emilee couldn't help but laugh at it. She would make fun of him, and he would never take it seriously. She loved that about him, the fact that nothing ever really bothered him.
Fighting was the only issue with them. Sure, they fought a lot. Sure, it was bad sometimes, and sure, making love directly afterwards isn't a good way to fix problems, but if it was good for the two of them, then fine. Emilee never wanted to push anything after a fight with Brett, to risk him leaving. He had left a lot in the earlier stages of their fighting, and now Emilee's afraid that if he leaves during one of their later stage fights, he'd never come back. She'd be devestated if he had done something like that to her. The one eighty degree mood turn had began to hit her at that point when Brett sat down on the couch and began to get handsy with her. Though, she let him do what he pleased, the tenseness in her body became more apparent.
"No, no..." She said, softly, when he mentioned breaking up. "Don't worry, it's not. I would never do something like that." Emilee assured him, looking at his softened face, with not so much of an expression on her own face. After making sure he knews that everything was okay in their relationship territory, her own expression became apparent as tears welled up in her eyes. She shook her head when he mentioned the flu, hoping he'd get the point of her story. When he pulled in for that quick hug, Emilee began to let her tenceness float away slowly, but it came back when he let go, it was only clear he was trying to get her to finish the thought process that was clearly taking over her mind.
Clearly hating this already, Emilee managed to look her partner of a year and a half in his eyes. As tears slid down her cheeks, a set of new tears quickly filled up in her eyes and replaced the ones that were staining her cheeks. Sniffling, she let out a small sob. She had never been this upset over something, and the reason was because she was scared, and it was apparent. Seeing his eyes lock closed made Emilee even more scared than she already was. Great, he was upset, and he was probably really going to leave her. One quality that she didn't like about him was that he never really was quick with much of what he would say most of the time, it was really almost what would start a majority of their fights, and it wasn't good in Emilee's eyes, and it had to be the same in his.
"...Yes..." Emilee replied to Brett, when he said the word, and when he asked if it was 'like, baby pregnant?'. She stayed silent for a few seconds, wanting the two of them both to take in what had just happened. She looked down when he didn't say anything, and tears continued to slide down her cheeks. At this point, she was sobbing, because of how scared she was, and it consoled her a little bit when Brett pulled her into his embrace. Honestly, that's all she wanted. Comfort. She stayed in the moment as his hand ran through her hair, and tears still slid down her cheeks when he lifted her head up with his shoulder, which now seemed to be covered with her tears, and she looked back at his eyes, her bottom lip trembling. She sniffled a second time, and her look completely changed, when no traces of being mad became apparent from him.
Nodding, Emilee's lips formed into a slight smile, just staring at Brett's eyes for a few seconds. She bit her trembling bottom lip lightly and followed his hand with her eyes down to her stomach, where he slipped it into her shirt, to feel her skin. She shivered lightly at how cold his hand was, and she moved her hand down, letting it travel up his arm, until it met his hand underneath her shirt. Looking at him again, he had said something that made Emilee sort of light up inside. Running her hand over his from underneath her shirt, she looked up at his eyes, the tears now drying from her own. "...Do you mean that?" Emilee asked, in a whisper, as a crack in her voice rose up from her throat. Her gaze followed his eyes and every move, she wanted to know what he really felt, and how he really felt at this exact moment.

One thing that Brett loved more than anything was making Emilee laugh, and as he could hear her giggle at his obvious jokes he couldn't help but laugh along. The way her face had lit up when she laughed had been absolutely beautiful, and if he could make that woman laugh everyday for the rest of their lives he knew he would be happy. He found it funny how he could be so madly in love with someone, but with her it all just seemed to come so easily for him. Sure he'd had other girlfriends in the past, other forms of love that he'd felt for a few of them, but nothing as strong as what he was feeling for Emilee as he watched her laughing at his playful antics. She had stolen his heart and he'd hoped she'd never return it, for it was hers and only hers as far as he'd been concerned.
It seemed no matter what he did he could get a rise out of her, either through a laugh or a chuckle, but the kiss on his cheek had been a pleasant surprise that he hoped would be more frequent. The gasp had been hilarious in his opinion, his face lighting up as he had to laugh, but as she spoke he soon silenced himself as his face became rather horrified. "You wouldn't just take that all away from me, would you?" He frowned hoping that his little puppy dog eyes would do the trick to get her to change her mind, not that he thought she'd been telling the truth from the start since the two had seemed to have a hard time keeping off one another while alone. He knew that playing later in the evening would probably happen, but at the same time he could probably lessen his little quips a little bit not wanting to actually upset her on one crazy off-chance.
He saw that small smirk start to curl on the corner of her lips though and his jaw dropped as he stared at her dumbfounded, "you little vixen, look at you lying to me!" He went and put his arms around her waste as he picked her up and swung her around some before letting her feet hit the ground again. "I should have known you'd been lying, don't be threatening our playtime again or I might have to retaliate with-" he tried to think of something but his thoughts fell short, so instead he cocked a stupid grin as he couldn't help but do nothing more than shrug and laugh at his own stupidity.
He had to leave her for only a minute though as he walked to the fridge to put the beer in there and grab the both of them a drink, but hearing that she wouldn't want it had him shrugging as he knew he'd be able to drink the both of them no problem. He saw her sitting on the couch and was almost nervous when she said there was something that needed to be brought up, and of course as he moved in next to her he couldn't help but figure it'd been something drastic like the two of them breaking up or something. Things were going great so why in the world would she want to just end things with him? He groaned some thinking about how the night would end on such a bad note if she wanted to break up, but at least he'd had his alcohol so he could drown his sorrows on the way home. Why would she waste the time inviting him over though if she was just going to break up with him? She had to have known that would have been a bad idea.
Hearing that it had nothing to do with them breaking up was such a relief, though now he couldn't think of something else that she could tell him that'd be so important. Maybe it had something to do about a job or maybe even her living arrangements? All these different thoughts came into his head, though none had anything to do with a baby, but not wanting to wrap himself too much in his own thoughts he figured he'd just stop before he got ahead of himself and listen for her answer. He leaned in really quick kissing her softly before pulling away, "i'm waiting beautiful, what do you have to tell me?" He could see the tears, something that he hated to see on that beautiful face of hers, and his thumb couldn't help but come up to wipe the ones away that he noticed escape down her cheek.
He hated seeing her so physically upset about something, so when he watched her sob right infront of her he could do nothing but hug her hoping that it could help her through whatever it was. When he found out it'd had something to do with babies and being pregnant though he had to take a moment to himself, his eyes shutting tightly as he tried to remember how this could even happen. He had remembered the night all too well, but he never thought that her getting pregnant would result. He knew the risks that came with not using condoms, but at the same time he'd hoped that once would not be enough to knock someone up. It's not that he didn't think of her as a good mother, but with their relationship still being new and fresh he wasn't sure how that would effect them at all.
The more he thought about it though, although he probably should have just stormed out of the house and drank away the rest of the evening, he couldn't think of anything that he'd want more than to have a family with this beautiful crying blonde that'd been rested her sopping wet face against his shoulder. When he picked her head up he could see the million trails of tears and felt terrible, though he'd hoped that the smile that'd became present on his face was enough for her to feel better. He had to let her know that it wasn't something that would upset him, but instead he'd accept that baby with open arms knowing that they would make one hell of a family. He knew that what he was telling her was having a positive effect as he could see the smile growing on her lips, and sure enough his attitude had reflected how happy her having his child would make him.
As his hand slipped under her shirt to slide across the skin of her stomach he imagined that little being inside of her growing, starting out as just a tiny jellybean, and he couldn't help but light up inside as he finished letting her know that she'd make him as happy as could be to be the mother of his child. He was sure he'd gotten a rise out of her with that last statement as he watched her entire face light up, and all he did was nod with the biggest grin as he leaned in giving her another kiss, his hand staying planted on her stomach for the timebeing as his free hand slipped behind her neck pulling her in closer. "Why would I ever lie to you about something like that? Of course I mean it," his lips had been so close to hers that he had no problem just whispering knowing that she could hear him perfectly.

Of course Emilee would never take their so called 'play-time' away from Brett, she just thought it was more than just a bit of funny when she teased him like that. The only reason why she thought it was funny, was because they could hardly keep their hands off each other anywhere they were, they would only do so if it was indecent to be all over each other, where ever they happened to be. Emilee thought it was fine, but she loved being able to show her affection for Brett, so obviously she would do so anywhere she could, if he'd give it back to her in return. She was so into thinking about her thoughts of being in love with him, because she wasn't so sure of it yet, but it was times like right now, where she had to believe that she was in love with him, and wouldn't let any girl get in the way of what they had together.
She always had to laugh at his little jokes or attempts to get her to laugh. No other guy she had been in any type of contact with could make her laugh like the way Brett does, or make her feel the way Brett does, anything. That's why, when he asked if she'd really take away their 'play-time', she kept the slight smirk on her face, but couldn't help but laugh as he tried the well known puppy dog eyes on her. Emilee knew that look all too well, so she had to keep the previous straight face, not wanting to give into him that fast, though it could have already been given away that she was joking when she laughed at him. Wanting to try and stay sincere to what she had previously stated to Brett, she shrugged slightly and kept the well written smirk on her face, until it came to his thoughts that she was really was joking. She knew her boyfriend too well, he would figure it out soon enough.
Brett's little dumbfounded look was the icing on the cake for her as her smirk finally broke and she let out a slight giggle when he called her a vixen, followed by a full out laugh when his arms wrapped around her waist. Suddenly, she was off the ground, and her face continued to light up when he spun her around, followed by another laugh when he put her down again. Her feet hit the ground and she thanked him for putting her down by kissing his lips lightly, only to be stopped by him starting to speak, just seconds after she pulled away from him. "Yeah? What'cha gonna 'retaliate' with?" Emilee asked, looking at him, letting a slight seductive look sneak over her face. "Hm? Nothing, 'cause you can't think of anything, you're gonna get what you want anyway, 'cause you know I want it, too." She whispered the last part, followed by another giggle, only because he had laughed as well.
She only let her eyes break from him for a few seconds when he made his way into the kitchen. Her gaze followed his movement and she let out a light breath, just watching her boyfriend for a few seconds. At this point, the want of being upstairs and alone with him began to come back into her mind, only leaving the thoughts of what she had to tell him in the back of her mind somewhere. What was it about him that made her just want him so bad all time? She wasn't so sure. He had spent the night at her place plenty of times, as well as her at his place. They had a bit of thing with switching off every few nights, but for now, they had just been staying at Emilee's. She was okay with it, though.
It's like it was practice for when they were actually ready to move in together. The thought of living with Brett hasn't really crossed her mind yet, but if they really did have a baby and decided to keep it and raise it, they would have had to come with terms to move in together. Emilee though, was certainly not against that. He came back from the kitchen and put a beer on the table, before cracking open his and turning to look at her. Emilee's eyes proceeded to get wide when Brett asked if it had anything to do with breaking up, and she quickly shook her head to get that thought erased completely from what they were about to talk about. Emilee's nervousness slowly began to float away when Brett managed to sneak a kiss out of her when tears were flowing down her cheeks, and instead of saying anything, Emilee just looked at Brett as tears continued to flow down her cheeks.
Emilee was so speechless right now on her own part, but she knew it wasn't good to keep it bottled up. Emilee was always the girl when she was growing up to keep things bottled up, but they weren't always inside for too long. She never had a secret like this, so it was all new to her, and by now, she thought she would have gotten it out to him by now. Honestly though, she didn't, because she was scared. When she really thought about it, their relationship wasn't so locked in yet. Though they loved each other's company and just could barely keep their hands off each other, didn't mean that either of them couldn't walk out whenever they wanted to. Emilee was sure she would never do that to Brett, but she never knew what he was thinking unless he told her and they talked it out, so she couldn't always be so absolutely sure of their status and how things were going.
Right now, things were going great in her book, and as Brett stated, things were obviously going great for him, too. Now, they both had to think about serious things, like staying together for the baby, living arrangements for the baby, how they were going to get by, and just the baby period and in general. When Emilee looked at Brett, she was certain that he would be a great dad, she would never expect anything less from him. Snapping out of her clear daze, Emilee stared at Brett as he picked his thumb up and wiped away the tears that were sliding down her cheeks. It seemed like he was into having a baby, and if he was sure, she had to be too, to make it work. Her breathing became a bit heavier when he leaned in just a bit too close to her lips, to the point where he was breathing on them when he whispered to her.
Feeling herself being pulled closer to him by his free hand resting on the back of her neck, she nodded afterwards obviously to give him the okay that she believed him, and her eyes darted up to his, before looking back down at where his lips had been so close to hers. At the moment, what she had just told him quickly left her mind, being replaced by thoughts of the two of them alone for the rest of the night and what was clearly going to happen at one point of another. His hand was planted on her stomach, and as she could feel the warmth from his hand because her hand had rested on his, the heat only shot up her arms and it only made her want worse. "I love you..." Emilee managed to whisper back against his lips, though his lips were so close to hers, it felt like she could have been manipulated at any point. After speaking, she leaned the rest of the way in, not that there was much, so their lips met and melted against one another's. Emilee was now clearly feening for him, and she had only hoped that he could tell.
