Kayden decided it was a day he needed to take Madden out of the house. The kid had been stuck inside, and not to mention it was a nice day outside. Maybe a trip to the beach. The boy struggled trying to take care of his son, and send child support for a daughter he barely ever saw. Basically this described how much he hated his ex's parents. They took his daughter away from him, but was more then willing to give him his son. That was something he didn't understood. He glanced down at his mini me with a little curly dark mohawk, it made him smile. The boy was going to be so much like him. Weither that was a good or a bad thing in his mothers parents eyes it didn't matter to him, as long as the kid had his dreams. After packing up the majority of things the boy would need for a day with his son. He got the little boy put into the car, and belted in, putting a phillies hat on the childs head. The boy would be lugging around the boys wagon and diaper bag all day.
He fit a baseball cap on his head, and his avaitor sunglasses placed over his eyes. He was finally in the car and headed out for a day in the sun with his boy. Maybe the first stop would be a beach but until then, he wanted a coffee to go. So after stopping the car and getting the little boy out of the back of the car seat. He put him down telling the baby to stay where he was standing, and smiling gently at the little kid. He was like a mini him. It was funny to watch the two of them walking down the street. He was more his twin, then his own twin was. After grabbing the punk version of a diaper bag, which happened to be a rancid diaper bag. He walked the little boy into the coffee shop, and glanced around before looking at the boy. "Go sit down." he said pointing towards one of the booths. Watching the little boy dart into a clean booth and work on trying to climb up into the seat. "Are you hungry?" he asked picking him up and setting him down on his own side of the booth. "Want a blueberry muffin?" he asked watching the little boy stand up clapping his hands happily and nodding his head. "Alright." he said glancing around, he never really came here, he was more used to on the road starbucks.
He missed being on the road traveling with a small band, and being a groupie for local talent. It was his life until his son became part of his custody. He loved the kid so much though, and he ended up going everywhere with him. Sleeping with giant headphones on his baby head in a wagon on the side of the stage while he was performing. It was the life having a little tour partner. But today was being a 'family' and enjoying spending time with his little dude. Glancing around for a moment, the place was nice, he just wasn't enjoying the music. Being that it was only wednesday he wouldn't have his daughter until friday and she'd go back sunday in the afternoon. It was such torture for him, not being able to watch her grow up. "Daddy wants some coffee." he said with a nod of his head, before hearing the boy say me too. "Ok." he stated agreeing with him, although his eyes following a girl that had walked into the room, and allowing himself to check her out, and watch her for a few minutes. Finally he got what they came for, a 'smoothie' for the baby with his muffin and a blueberry scone and an iced coffee for himself. Putting the muffin in the boys hands for destruction, but smiled as he contently picked at the top of the muffin eating it.

A new town meant one thing to Loretta, she'd need a new job. Another one, one that was willing to hire someone with not a single qualification, and only an out of state ID card. It wasn't even a fake, just one that had been acquired with less than legitimate papers to back it up. She didn't have a birth certificate anymore, but had been able to procure a fake one far easier than she'd thought, and it had proved good enough to get her this ID. Hopefully, it would prove as effective down here as it had anywhere else; this was the first time she and her family had ever been to Florida, or even to the south in general. It had been an incredibly cheap bus fare, and it was about time they got out of the north east of the country. She didn't know if there really was any chance they were still being followed, and she doubted it, but this was their life now. They were fugitives, wanted in Michigan for all sorts of trumped up charges, and though the children's shelter they'd escaped from might have been staffed by incompetent, unfeeling psychotic failures who's degrees weren't worth the paper they were printed on, she was sure they'd have filed all the police reports they'd threatened to. Who'd have ever thought someone liek Loretta could be a rapist and a kidnapper? She wasn't, not by any standard, but that was what they'd labelled her. So far in this town, she'd only managed to get herself a part time cleaning job, for a few hours every morning. It was in one of the restaurants, and while the pay was lousy, she'd managed to strike up a deal with one of the cooks to let her take some of the food they'd otherwise throw away after prep. It wasn't a lot, but for a family who lived in the cheapest trailer they could rent, every cent they could save on groceries was a huge boon. Expired or not, the stuff she was getting could stretch to a meal or two a week, even if she ended up going hungry on one of those days. She wasn't too worried about that though, underweight though she was, it was much more important to keep her family fed than herself. Felicia was a year old now, she was onto solid foods, so keeping herself fed up wasn't so important in keeping the toddler fed anymore. Baby food didn't come cheap either, and as they travelled so much and were desperate not to be discovered, food stamps weren't an option. She was not too proud to say she needed them, not by a long shot, they just weren't worth the risk. As she was out looking for work today, Mark had been careful with how he tied her up. She wore a rope harness under her dress, as she often did, but unlike a lot of days, it was not visible under the Summery Dress she wore. It felt almost strange to wear something that didn't show off the ropes around her breasts at all, but she wasn't going to complain. She wore her collar, as always, a band of black leather locked tightly around her throat, and while her wrists were bare, there were cuffs around her ankles. her shoes were tied to them, five inch heels today, ones that didn't look too fetishy though. She needed the money she might be able to earn today far more than she needed the reactions of anyone vanilla to laugh at, and the hope was that as the shoes, rope and cuffs were all the same colour, they'd be assumed to be part of the same garment. Who knew, maybe she'd even start a trend, wouldn't that be nice? Making her way into the bustling crowds along Barlow street, she began her job hunt for the day. It wasn't an easy search, but then, it never was. Even just a single shift would be a huge boon to the young, flame haired slavegirl, but it seemed no-one was hiring today. She tried everywhere, the bookstore, the bridal shop, even the pharmacy, with no luck. Finally, she wandered into Martha's coffee shop, feeling a little dejected, right up until she realised she was being checked out. Adding an extra little swing to her hips as she walked, regardless of what that made the ropes do underneath her clothes, she made her way up to the counter, offering the man a wink and blowing him a kiss. No jobs here, not yet anyway. The girl behind the counter was coming off shift in an hour, and they were shorthanded for the rest of the afternoon. A short conversation was all it took for Rita to agree to work that shift, this wouldn't be her first coffee shop job, and while it would only a four hour shift, it was money her family badly needed. With an hour to kill though, she took the coffee the girl who was leaving early gave her in gratitude, and headed over towards the man who'd been checking her out, keeping the swing in her hips up. "Hey." she said with a smile, one she couldn't help making at least a little seductive. he had a kid with him, so he wasn't going to do anything, but that didn't mean she couldn't play. "Do you mind if I join you? I saw you checking me out." she added, sliding into the seat beside him, regardless of his response, and offering his son a much more normal smile. "Hi!" she said, offering him a cheery wave, before turning her attention back to the man she assumed was his father. "I'm Lisa." she said, giving the name on her ID rather than her real one, still smiling even as she sipped at her drink. "I'm new in town, how about you?" she continued, still smiling. Mark might not like this, but she had time to kill, and this seemed like a good way to do it.
