nicknames: linds, blondie.
birthday: 17 august, 1994
gender: female.
grade: senior in the fall.
sexuality: supposedly straight, actually a lesbian.

as far as clothes go, linds doesn't need much to be happy. actually, if it was up to her, she'd be in a bikini all day along, but of course with school and other non-beach, non-surfing duties, she cannot. Instead, she parades in sundresses or short shorts and a tank top. she loves the feeling of the sun on her skin and doesn't like to take up a long time to change into her bathing suit wen she gets that desire to go out surfing. her favorite colors are ocean blue, sky blue, sea green and lime green. she also loves to wear beige, white and cream colors. pink isn't so terrible either. she always has a shark fang pendant, tied around her neck by a dark brown thick leather string. it's an actual shark fang her father got her.
personality: the best word to describe linds? tom-boy. as a kid, she was the type to play with other boys, getting herself dirty, causing mischief. she hated pretty dresses and ribbons, not to mention when her mother treated her like an adorable, proper little girl. as a teenager, not too much as changed, although lindsay does like to pretty herself up once in a while – key words being once in a while. although she played a lot of soccer from the time she was six up until now, and has been riding skate boards from the time she was nine, let's not forget those eleven years of contemporary dancing, her true passion will always be surfing. she first stood on a board when she was four, and began training to compete when she was eleven. Her first true competition was at the age of thirteen and she has been riding the waves ever since. some may even call it an obsession.
as far as everything else is concerned, lindsay is the type of girl who doesn't let people shove her around. she's very tough and very blunt. she's also a temperamental girl and when it comes to her emotions, she can be quite reckless. if you happen to be one of her friends, then chances are you won't see her wraith unless you do something that will truly upset her. she's very loyal and overly protective of those she cares for. oh, she also gets lonely easily. she needs to be around people, whether it's one single person or a crowd. a partier and a rule-breaker, lindsay will make up her own set of rules for things and hop over those she doesn't believe in. she's a rebel with a cause. partying though? It's merely a means for her to relax and have fun. of course, don't expect her to be partying a month prior to a competition. at that point in time she's pretty anti-fun, being in training mode.
studying or anything academic is not exactly lindsay's domain. the only class she doesn't mind is physical education. she rarely ever finishes books that were assigned in class and never once touched a book for leisure in her life.
likes: surfing, beaches, more surfing, sports, early mornings, romance (secretly), the color blue, warm weather, competing.
dislikes: rules, education, blood, fake people, whores (male or female), solitude, people leaving, stereotypes.
strengths: her physical strength, she keeps going when things get tough, her loyalty, street smarts.
weaknesses: her queasiness around blood, her fiery temperament, commitment issues, not book smart.

father: aaron williams (43, fisherman)
siblings: james williams (23, soldier)
significant other (s): n/a
pets: a golden retriever named slater after the surfer kelly slater.
hometown: miami, florida (moved to point pleasant when she was a few months old)
history:
linday eden williams was born on august 17th in her parents' hometown of miami, florida, but moved to point pleasant when she was only three months old when her father got a job as a fisherman. she has one older (highly protective) brother who happens to be roughly six years older than her, but the two are as close as can be. maybe it's the fact that they aren't so close in age, or maybe it's their meshing personalities, but the two blond siblings have always gotten along – minus the constant friendly teasing and rivalry. her brother james is also a surfer, although he's not nearly as obsessed as his sister. anyway, back to the past. growing up, lindsay was a tom-boy. all (or at least most) of her friends were boys and she truly despised being associated with girly things such as dresses, frills and ribbons. she was out in the mud instead of having tea parties and would wear her dad's ratty plaid button-down shirts instead of the pink clothes her mother bought. you see, her mother was a petite woman who was always polite, proper and very feminine.
when lindsay was young, she was also in many, many sports, but her favorite was always surfing. when her mother died, lindsay was only ten and it hurt her a lot. she felt guilty, considering it was only the two girls in the house – her father and brother were out boating – when mrs. williams had her asthmatic attack and passed away. of course, she also felt guilty for not being close to her mother and doing the things she wanted her daughter to do, but after going to therapy for a few months, she was doing better and instead began focusing on surfing, which was the one thing that truly made her happy at the time. as the years went by she came to terms with her mother's death and began truly living her life again. boys weren't really her thing – she had a lot of male friends, but for some reason she never felt the need for dating. she always figured it was because boys would get in the way of her surfing... but now that she's finishing up her junior year of high school, she begins to wonder if maybe it isn't something else...
returning back a little bit, we have her relationship with her brother. james has been a soldier since the age of nineteen and has gone on many different missions overseas, including eleven months in afghanistan, which he has yet to complete. at first, lindsay didn't want her brother to leave, but she knows it's what he wants and writes to him every chance she can, hoping that he will come home to her soon. Her father is also not present in her life very much, being a fisherman. over the years lindsay's paternal aunt took care of her when her father left for a few days, sometimes a week, but this past year lindsay has been staying home by herself and she doesn't mind all that much. she's actually quite independent.

From the moment Sienna Johnson uttered the words party and brother's friend, Lily Mae Prescott had that legendary gut-feeling that something was just bound to go completely wrong. How could it not, when the last time she'd been coaxed into attending a party her senior year of High School, police officers had come swarming in due to a drug bust? No, parties weren't Lily's thing and her small group of friends here at New York University knew that all too well – so why was Sienna not budging on this whole party/blind date scenario she had carelessly planned without Lily's consent? Because Sienna was a mean, undeserving, selfish, stubborn best friend; that was why. “Come on, Prescott, you're so boring! You need to relax a little and have an awesome good time with an extremely hot lawyer guy.” she was saying as she observed her blonde best friend thoughtfully. “You'll let your hair down – curled, obviously. Neutral make-up and... my sexy black dress with the glitter.” she added with a nod.
Lily didn't like that nod, not one bit. It meant she truly had no way of escaping this brutal, brutal fate. Not to mention the fact that Sienna was giving away her prized black dress! “Si, I'm serious. I'm not okay with this–” but she was hushed with a slight wave of a perfectly manicured hand. It was a quarter to six, the wintery sun setting behind the tall skyscrapers of the Big Apple. The small apartment Lily shared with her best friend a little more than a block away from the university was cluttered but cozy, the way both girls enjoyed it. The little home wasn't dirty, just filled with a lot of stuff, from Lily's photography supplies and expensive camera to Sienna's notebooks filled with different designs and her fashion magazines. They were two young artists with so much in common, yet they were so different all the same.
By the time the numbers on Lily's phone etched 7:30, she was ready to go. Her curly mane of blonde hair hung neatly on her shoulders while her beige, tan and rose-colored make-up made her young, beautiful face look like one that could very well belong in a fashion magazine. To top the modelesque look off, she was wearing a rather short dress revealing her long legs, followed with silver high heels and a matching purse. In all honesty, she looked gorgeous. “I look like a whore,” she whined as the mirror was placed in front of her. “I can't meet some stranger at a party, Sienna Leann Johnson! I'm not some dirty hag!” she attempted to plead her case one final time, but to no avail. It was just the way things had to go – she would have to attend that insane party and meet that older, supposedly sexy, guy who worked at a law firm. Was she nervous? Hell yes.
The twenty year-old college sophomore arrived at the party with her best friend in said best friend's fancy red car. It wasn't necessarily a college party, considering some of the folks dancing about were in their late twenties to early thirties, but as Lily looked around uncomfortably, she realized that it resembled one; or so, the ones she'd seen in movies anyway. People were rubbing themselves against dance partners while others played beer pong or exchanged body fluids on a nearby sofa. It was a drunken whore-fest and Lily wanted out. “Look Si, this is ridiculous. I shouldn't be here... I just–” but before she had finished her sentence, Sienna had spotted her targets and was rushing their way, Lily dangling behind as she tried to keep up. Great. “Oh, there they are! Lily, this is my brother and his good friend Kyle Perreira, who will be your date for the evening. Guys, this is–” but Lily decided it may be a good idea to introduce herself all on her own. “I'm uh, Lily Prescott.” she said, and just as the words were out of her rose-colored mouth, a drunken man bumped against her. Being new at wearing high heels, the blonde wobbled slightly before getting her act together. Nervously, she smiled at the older men.
