He began walking up the aisle to the head of the church slowly and grabbed a book at the podium. "Do you have your vows or are you going traditional?" he asked them. Jack didn't know what to tell the guy I mean there was plenty he could tell to ava in his own way but he wasn't prepared..could he do it from the top of his head.

Ava looked at Jack unsurely. Clearly there were many things they'd overlooked, including vows. What was she supposed to say? Well, she could wing it, but that left the risk of rambling. "Its up to you." Ava finally said to Jack, knowing she could work with either. She was a writer after all

"I know what I wanna say if you do." He suggested with the thought that once he got up there and he knew he was gonna have to get his thoughts in order and come up with vows he would be able to.

Hearing him say that, she was sort of surprised, but in a good way. She nodded. "I do too." she replied with a smile. "So I guess we're making our own..." she added with a small deep breath. She was nervous, but excited too.

He gave her hand a small squeeze as he took the first step and headed up the aisle to the head of the church where the older gentleman was waiting. Each step forward felt as though someone was pushing him every time he slowed down to take it in, he wasn't moving fast but then again he wasn't moving at a snail's pace either.

Walking up the aisle with him was an almost surreal experience. One she couldn't describe in words. She just..hadn't really ever thought they get there, that moment. She could feel her heart race and wondered what Rachel would say when she told her they'd eloped. Something told her that Rachel had always been on Team Blake and not having her best friend on her side killed her.

Finally, they were there though and all thoughts other than the present were pushed aside. "Here we go." she said quietly under her breath.

For a long time he never thought he would be walking down the aisle..with Ava. As soon as Jack found out Adam was his, he couldn't see himself living any other life than one married to Tory Cooper. But then he got his one shot and took it and although it was in bad taste at the time, since she was already married, he couldn't think of a better way now to bring them to this moment. It was amazing that though there were only three people in the church at that moment, including him, he felt like all eyes were watching silently. They reached the front adn the old man nodded before opening a small book, he cleared his throat and then began to read from the page, "Marriage is the union of husband and wife in heart, body and mind. It is intended for their mutual joy – and for the help and comfort given on another in prosperity and adversity. But more importantly – it is a means through which a stable and loving environment may be attained." He squinted and turned a page before speaking again, "This relationship stands for love, loyalty, honesty and trust, but most of all for friendship. Before they knew love, they were friends, and it was from this seed of friendship that is their destiny. Do not think that you can direct the course of love – for love, if it finds you worthy, shall direct you." He said before looking up at the two standing before him. " Are you ready with your vows my dear?" He asked looking over at ava with a small smile.

Ava couldn't help, but smile at the minister's words. They seemed so..perfect. As if this stranger almost knew her and Jack to a tee. They had been friends, great friends and always would be. And maybe that was why she believed this would last. They'd come through so many obstacles together already and she knew if they could still be here after all that, it wasn't something to run away from.

When she was asked to speak, she all of a sudden got tongue-tied. Not because she didn't have anything to say, but because she had everything to say...years of memories, thoughts and dreams for their future together that at one point had been just that, dreams. "Right..yeah, of course." Ava said, nodding as she took a deep breath and looked at Jack. That was better. Now it was just them. She could do this.

"I've never been so sure of anything as I am of this." she started, speaking slowly and from her heart. "Because it's us and I know that we can do anything together and overcome anything...." She smiled, laughing slightly before continuing. "Today is a new beginning for us and I promise, that like every other beginning we've shared, it's going to be magical and... lasting. If you want to run, I want to come with you because where you are is where I want to be. You are my everything and I couldn't ask for a better man to call my husband."

She smiled at Jack and looked to the minister again to say she was done.

Blake had just got back in town from another one of his figuring himself out journeys up in Canada. He had heard about Jack and Ava through the grapevine when he got back, and he was looking for Ava about some unfinished business.
He pulled his old green truck up infront of the church and quickly ran into the front doors "Wait!" he yelled as he held some papers in his hand and catching his breath.

Ava turned, her suspicions about the familiar voice confirmed instantly. Blake? What was he doing here and more importantly, how had he found them? She looked from him to Jack and back to him again. "What are you doing here?" she asked him, not even noticing the papers he carried in his hands. "You're..not supposed to even be in Pleasant let alone, here.." Her head was spinning and for a moment she even thought that she would pass out, but she quickly regained herself.

Blake walked up to them, still catching his breath "Sorry to interrupt" he said with a shrug "But me and you are still technically married" he added pointing to Ava "So right now you would be comitting a crime" he informed her with another shrug of his shoulders. "Sorry for interrupting" he said once again to Jack.

Jack was taken aback for a moment but stayed at Ava's side. He mind was trying to catch up with the words that flew out of Blakes mouth. He shook his head and stayed quiet. Did it matter? Was this a way for Blake to take Ava back from him once again. A long time had past and this just seemed right for them. He thought all the paperwork and such was out the door done, but he was wrong.

Ava was confused. Married still? She couldn't be. She signed the papers months ago...unless..he hadn't? She looked up at Blake, biting her lip. Why was he doing this? "What are you...what are you talking about?" she asked him, stuttering a little as the words came out. "Blake, don't do this..."

She'd thought he'd moved on. He'd left town after finding out she'd slept with Jack and then came the divorce papers. She'd filed, not him, thinking things were clearly over between them. Had he never sent them in?

Blake looked Ava straight in the eyes, as if he were looking into her soul. "I need you to give me one last chance, as I was in Canada I realized I'm nothing without you" He rambled "Give me one last chance and if it doesn't work I'll sign the papers" Blake added as he held up the papers he had in his hand, with a desperate look on his face.

Ava looked at him. "Blake...we tried. It didn't work..." she told him. "And I don't think that would change." She sighed. "I mean, you just left and I ...I moved on." she said, motioning to Jack. "Look around, Blake, we're in a church and...I'm not sure if I can go back."
