It only took a moment for it to process through before he looked back up at her with a small smile," Okay, lets do it." He said as he moved his hand and placed it onto her knee, " I don't care when or where as long as its you and me in the end." He added.

She hadn't really expected him to agree, but she was glad he had. She looked at him for a moment to see if he was being serious. "Are you sure?" she asked him. "Because I'm really hoping so."

He smiled and leaned forward and pressed his lips gently against hers, trying to remove any doubt from her mind. He moved back with the same dorky smile on his face, " The only thing we have to choose is Elvis impersonator or not." He said.

Ava smiled and kissed him back before laughing at what he'd said. She made a face as if she was thinking about it..."Hmmm, well Elvis could be quiet a story.." she teased, pretending to be dead serious as she said it. "Its a tough call."

"I know and then you have to decide if you want fat elvis or young heartbreak hotel elvis...very tough decision." He said with a smirk as he seriously contemplated it. " I guess all we have to do is find a place thats open now." He said looking at his phone for the time.

"Definitely old and fat...I mean, he was so much better like that.." she joked, being very sarcastic with her emotionless face. When he mentioned just finding a place that was open, she nodded, having almost forgotten it was getting late. "Open is good." she replied with another nod. She thought. "Should we...get out a phonebook or something?" she asked, not knowing how to go about this.

"That's probably the best bet, " He said thinking about it a bit more, "I probably wouldn't hurt to look in a phone book but I think a few towns over there's a church that does services really late and they might have a guy over there." He said remembering passing it by once.

Ava nodded, thinking about it too. "Well we could just drive until we find something..." she suggested getting more excited with every minute. "Start with the church and if not then just keep driving." An adventure. That's what it would be.

"Sounds good to me." He said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his keys. The cool metal felt good against his hot skin. He stood from the swing and moved in front of her with a smile as he held a hand out, "Are you ready?" He asked her with a smirk.

Ava smiled and took his hand. "As ready as I'll ever be." she teased, though she knew she was. In many ways, she felt as though she'd been born ready. She stood and started leading the way for his car. Hers could wait.

He gave her had a reassuring squeeze which was done mostly for himself to try and make him believe they were actually doing this. For some reason he remembered back to homecomming all those years ago back in high school and how he was so sure that after her and blake first kissed that he wouldn't see her again, or be with her for that matter. A smile crept on his face as they headed to the car and pushed all other thoughts out of his mind.
