Three days (java)

Ava smiled, feeling a bit relieved to hear him say this. " 'kay." she replied before heading inside where she spotted Rachel's parents in the study. She greeted them then thanked them for their hospitality and explained she would be staying with her boyfriend for a few days. They said she was welcome back whenever she needed it and after thanking them once again, she went upstairs to get her things and find her mischievous jack russell terrier.

Jack sat in the car and waited, turning his radio up just a bit, he tapped away rythmically on the steering wheel. He was happy she had said yes, and was happy she was trusting enough to bring her dog with her. He leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes for a moment and just breathed deeply. He wished that he was sitting here, but years ago-everything was fine back then and just right- it probably wouldn't hurt either,could have done better with life and all that. He laughed to himself, yeah right.

Finally, Ava found Prince and grabbed her small duffel bag before she put some clothes in. Done. She out the bag over her shoulder and picked up Prince before going back outside and seeing Jack with his eyes close. "Hey." she said, getting his attention and smiling as she put Prince in and got in herself.

He smiled and opened his eyes slowly, he leaned forward to turn down the sound on the radio so he could hear her better. He looked down at the dog on the seat next to him, " Hello there prince." He said before looking back up at ava,"You got everything okay?" He asked her.

"Yep..all set." she said, as she got in and smiled at him. "I didn't take too long, did I?" she asked, hoping she hadn't. "Prince was hiding in the closet playing with one of my shoes and I couldn't find him.."

"As long as you've got everything you need than time doesnt matter." He said as he rubbed prince's head before turning the car back in drive and heading back onto the road to the diner.

Ava nodded, saying she was fine and had everything before he started driving along and back to his place. "So what were you thinking about?" she asked curiously when they were a little ways down the road. "When I was coming back you seemed..distracted."

" I dont know, I think i was focusing more on not thinking than anything else." He said with a smirk. Jack's mind was usually a dangerous place since he never let anything out, but with Ava now he didn't feel like he had to hide anything from her. Now that Scott was gone she was really his only one to talk to.

Ava nodded, then smirked back. "So...we could just.." she inched closer until her lips were almost at his. "..not think.." she said before seductively kissing him as they stopped at a light before pulling away as the light turned green. God, he turned her on sometimes without even doing anything..It was weird.
